  1. It's great to hear, that you are staying on track, even with you injury. I wish I could help you any more, but I guess you're in good hands already (these being bombshell, cb3, Gg and your dad and therapist). You have all my support. Go rollergirl!
  2. Sorry for not writing in a LONG time. I see you're doing GREAT on your goals, having a fruit bowl in plain sight really help, since when you're hungry, you'll just grab a fruit instead of something bad.
  3. Wow, great! Congratulations on your real pushup! Good job!
  4. I das written such a long text and then I just changed the site :/ very short version: I'm back in the game short version: I am going to eat a not-so-strict paleo involving goat/sheep milk products (so no milk itself) on weekdays. The weekends are for my father's cooking. I am from now on going to do one workout per week (because I'm a lazy bum and can't get myself to workout every second day and subsequently kept delaying my next workout indefinitely). I am going to finally start my life goal (some other stuff interfered) Also I am sorry for keeping you all in the dark for so long (not having done my workouts I didn't find the courage to post anything).
  5. Hey, Guys sooo... I slacked off pretty badly until this monday which means that I kept eating a paleo meal per day, but stopped working out. then on Monday, I had regular school again (finally) and played volleyball in school. On Tuesday I fell asleep once I arrived home. On Wednesday I went to a party by our history course and today hasn't started yet (I drove to school, but had to drive back because a teacher was ill, so now I'll have to drive there again in 3 hours :/). In conclusion: I've gotta start my BBW again!
  6. That's some nice advice, gonna try it the next time i'm ice skating (there's no rinks around here, so I'd have to substitute with that... not gonna happen. I'll have to wait for sping to use my new inline-skates) ! You're doing great, keep it up!
  7. Hey guys thanks for your support; here we go: Full update for today: Today was kind of boring: woke up early, ate breakfast, went in the shower and did the BBWW; the ate luch, my paleo approved dinner and finally a small pizza because we're out of veggies, but that's okay, tomorow's our grocery day anyway. Deviations: Day 2: 17. Jan. 2013 Do the Beginner's Body Workout Routine of NerdFitness at least 3 Times a week - I did do my workout and it's already the third one this week! here's the Results: ---> 3x30 Squats (gonna add weights) ---> 9/7//5 normal/real Pushups (no change) ---> 3x20 Lunges (they really kick my butt... no change) ---> 3x10 5kg dumbbell rows (gonna increase the weight a bit) ---> 3x30s Planks (figured halfway through, that I could use my cell phone to stop the time... no more counting!) ---> 3x35 Jumping Jacks (gonna attempt 40, but that'll be hard) ...so that's it
  8. That looks like a series of awesome! Great job so far!
  9. Quick update: After breakfast and this morning's shower I did my workout, but even after lunch I haven't eaten my Paleo-meal yet - gonna have to come up with something
  10. Great job on getting the job (you're getting the job, don't question it)! It may not be the job you were looking for, but getting around people will do you good (I know what I'm talking about, my last school break was hell for me...) - and the pay won't hurt you either If Insanity's not your thing, try some other home workouts, like the BBWW or the Angry Birds Workout, take it slow; it doesn't make any sense to pull yourself down with a workout you don't like or feel good after. Every step in the right direction counts! Also, you may not realize it right now, but I bet you have more friends than you think you have: Just pick up the phone and call one of your old colleagues or teachers and have a chat or just talk to your mom. Also, why do you think Laureleye, CB3 and I reply to your posts? We're comrades, when you're sad, we're sad too. We won't leave you, we're in this together, you know, so pick yourself up and show your sad alter ego, who's boss! I'm sure the future bab will thank you for this!
  11. Hey, Raven (I'm not gonna call you broken ) I know that feeling to have to fight your pride and ask for financial help. Remember: It's never wrong to ask for help! It's nice to hear that you decided take the help that you deserve. Good luck with your goals and applications!
  12. Just looking at your workout makes me tired! I find it great to see your progress on your goals! I actually feel tempted to bet, when your last ring will fit . Keep on working hard and you'll be ready for the Inca Trail in no time!
  13. GAAAH, Double Post (another accident :/ well, might as well split the responses and the udate) Rollergirl: I had my first espresso some days ago: I didn't really like bitter until one or two years ago, so I just found bitter chocolate and espresso; I love them. JB2926: I think my food's kinda leazy, it didn't go anywhere the last time I checked Honestly I didn't have as many problems with changing my food as much as I had imagined it before: I think that's mostly because I don't restrict myself too much on food (only fast food and soda), but rather try to add healthy stuff to my diet. I'll see how it goes when I'm going to take non-paleo-meals away, but until then I hope I'll be fine. CB3: I don't really feel that I've done too much, I just had a lot of inspiration. Do you know Lindsey Stirling? I re-found her some while ago and her positive and fun attitude really helped me shift my attitude from pessimistic-realistic (If I don't expect anything I won't be disappointed) to more optimistic. NerdFitness and even more so you Rebells have helped me a LOT as well! Thanks for your support.
  14. Hey there, thanks for all your support, everyone! Here's the update of today: Went to school today to write an exam: Wow, there's snow! (today was the second snowy day this winter - I had almost forgot that it's winter). Well, when I got back I knew I still had to do some exercising, I first considered going swimmin because I still have some tickets left, but I didn't want to drive again (I live about 1/2 an hour away from my school) so I sneaked out for about 10 - 15 minutes. (I had to force myself outside, but once I had shut the door it wasn't half bad). Shortly after that, I went out to go to the doctor's and the apothecary with my father. We then proceeded to drive to a reseller, because my father needed new shoes; needless to say we didn't find any there, but we bought some food for the trip not to be wasted and went to the crappy shoe store where we had bought our last set of shoes (the shoes are really cheap and they break within a few weeks), just for good measure. When we didn't find anything for him we went to the electronics store opposite of the CSS (crappy shoe store) and I bought some stuff I needed and some stuff I couldn't resist buying (videogames of course - what else?). Finally, we headed home. Unforunately we didn't have any food defrosted, so my father invited me to dinner - at KFC . He himself didn't want anything because he had felt sick since yesterday, so I got us a twister, fries, chicken bites and a soda - I could get him to eat the bites and drink the soda, so I at least stood strong against the soda-pressors . On the way home I had some fun in an empty road: I slided around a bit, but my father did not appreciate it one bit, so I headed home normally after that. There, I experimented with the creamed coconut we bought and ended up turning it from solid to chunky to claggy to milky with bits to watery - In other short: I played with food. Finallly I grabbed two carrots and an apple and headed ino my room. By now I am the only survivor of the three of us - apple, carrot1, carrot2; you will be missed... (I have way too much fun writing... gonna grab another carrot). Deviations (because "questlog" just sounds too boring): Day 1: 17. Jan. 2013 Do some form of sport: - Went walking outside for 10-15 minutes - Drove around - a lot! (also had some fun sliding in the snow on an empty road) Clean up my diet: - Bought some vegetable ( a scallion or spring onion I think - I've got to translate it, you know? ) - Went to KFC got a twister though and stayed away from the soda, so that's not thaaaaat bad - Bought creamed coconut and tried to turn it into something drinkable - I did drink it, but I won't do it again - Had a banana for lunch, the twister for dinner and just ate two carrots and an apple - I'm gonna call all of that one paleo meal
  15. Hey, Great to hear you tried the BBWW! When I first tried the Workout I was completely exhausted - I couldn't even finish the fist circuit (Jumping Jacks...). My second try was way better I even did two circuits (That's what you get, JJ's!). What I'm trying to say is: Great job for your first try; I am sure you'll do a lot better onn your next attempt! I also don't believe you're a marshmallow, I still feel quite weak as well, I think that's normal when you're starting out (Also, wouldn't it be kinda boring if everyone could just do 10 pushups without any practice or exercise?) Also, did you find some time for your life goal? Keep us updated! Great job so far!
