The last two weeks have been a fiasco... suffice it to say that amidst the mayhem I managed to do my minimum workouts (mostly through rediculous amounts of snow removal) and the family member that needed help is getting it. It's always something....

How did you use the almond butter in the omlet - did you fold it into the center ? It sounds really interesting.

Tateman Challenge #5: Continue to build the better version of me

I'm sorry to hear about the cold slowing you down..... For anyone interested... The Telemon Cold Remedy : At the first signs of cold symptoms setting in (swollen glands, runny nose, stinging in the throat, etc.) I start taking heavy doses of zinc and vitamin C. For the zinc I take 100mg three times a day - following a meal and taken with plenty of water. I find that this is essential. Zinc can be very upsetting to your stomach and having a decent sized meal in there minimizes this. After taking them I drink about a pint of water over about ten minutes - this dilutes it even further. Vitamin C - I take 500mg twice a day with the zinc. I also take echinacea (500mg) twice a day. Echinacea has been shown to boost white blood cell activity. The sooner you start this regimen the less chance that the virus will get a firm foothold on you. I keep this up until all symptoms are gone and continue for one full day afterward - just to make sure that they are all knocked out of my system. I haven't had a serious cold in years.... It always works for me, but follow at your own risk. -

Gotta love the loot part.... The only time I was on a viking ship was when they sailed into Boston harbor - three of them including the Oseberg replica. Sadly, two of the three sank in a coastal storm on their way home.

Tateman Challenge #5: Continue to build the better version of me

I've never tried making my own mayo. I've been led to believe it's easy, but is it so much better that it's worth the effort? I'd like to hear what you all think about it. It does look good though.... -
Yes they can be hideously expensive. That's what led us to what we did. We prepared most of the events ourselves and already had all of the stuff we would need. Best of luck with your preparations.
-
Wow! That is an incredibly full schedule... Zombie land. Best of luck with everything.

Keep that kilt goal in front of you.... Are you doing a special wedding? My wife and I did a viking style wedding complete with armored fighting tournaments, javelin throwing contests, and firepit roasted beef....
