  1. Hi! I train 3x a week for 30 minutes with a trainer and usually run 3.15 miles right afterward. Sometimes I run more (current max: 7.5 miles) but only if it's low tide and the weather permits. I've been training for almost six months now and have had great results, but I could be better. My eating habits are what really need to get under control. I work at a diner which means I have an unlimited supply of homemade buttermilk biscuits, mac and cheese, and pretty much anything I want to make. I live in the South, which means the food down here is insanely good and even harder to ignore. I've attempted Paleo but those dang biscuits (and fried chicken, and fried pickles, and fried green tomatoes, and fried ANYTHING) get me every time. After bouncing back from the flu, I've been eating a lot better, but I need to make the commitment so that all this hard work (and hard earned money) isn't going to waste. I know, I know.. it's not going to 'waste', but I could be even better if I ate right! I don't keep track of what I do with my trainer, but I want to. Today for instance I did a full body which included: 30 lunge kicks on an upside down bosu ball 30 squats on said bosu ball 30 pushups on said bosu ball 30 barbel squats (unknown weight) 30 dumbbell rows (each side), 20 lb weights 30 cable flies (unknown weight) 30 RDLs 30 barbel rows 30 reverse lunges with 15 lb weights (these were all split into 2 sets, 15 reps each) 40 Kettlebell swings (2 sets of 20) 1 set of 10x10s 10 JP leg lifts 20 russian twists (each side) So here are my 6 week challenge goals: Go full Paleo (NO BISCUITS!) Up my running from 3x a week to 4 Drink more water (I only really drink water and coffee, but I don't hydrate nearly enough) Attend 1 yoga class a week for some much needed stretching Side goal: Record my training (I've emailed my trainer asking for anything he's recorded). I track my running through Endomondo. My level up goal: Walk my dog, who has also packed on the lbs since moving to the South, to the end of the complex morning and night. She needs to be healthy and in shape too. Thanks to everyone for the inspiration! And thanks NF for existing! I'm looking forward to meeting some rad people on here
  2. I'm not sure if someone already mentioned this, but honey or agave are my go to sweeteners. Especially honey in black coffee!
