  1. Thanks for the input! Yeah, I was on the road to bad food for a bit there. Soda is my weakness. I need to find a way to have water around. I do not drink soda when there is water. I did try straight vegan but failed. lol. I didn't get enough energy out of my food. Totally burnt out. Some day hopefully I can be full vegan. I'm learning about it slowly and have been for about a year now. You know when its good meditation when you want to keep doing it. Like George from the Beatles said about Hari Kari Krishna - its something that just keeps making you smile. Cardio was great. 60 cal estimated burned, I had a hard time keeping it on resistance but I put it on 2 of 8 on my Cateye bike. Try to push myself as much as I can. Breathing is very important to me so I try to keep good pattern and maintaing heartrate. It was not my best though. I have burned 100 cal est. on a 30 minute ride. My ankle has been bothering me, though. Missed my workout replacement yesterday so I have to make up. But I'm pumped. I want to be great at parkour. When I first got good, it was games. Now its time to push myself.
  2. Signed up! And today I will declare my goals. Workout One Full Body Strength Training - I still need to perfect it. At this time I can do almost all of it sans pullups, reverse pullups and dips. Unlike last time I have a bit more equipment but still no bar for reverse pullups. Pullups are the big one. Currently I'm at ten for the rest of the workout. So, once I reach max I will begin a rep. Pushups 10-15 Toyotas 10-15 Situps 10-15 Pullups 10-15 Reverse Pullups 10-15 To be able to do pullups and reverse pullups I am going to try and get weights as well as a few other pieces of equipment including a dip station and PVC stand. Workouts will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I forgot today was the beginning, but I did my cardio. Cardio Do 30 minutes cardio atleast Tuesday and Sunday. I will be working mostly on a cycle for now and hopefully can start running once it warms up. For the bike, I will be attempting to add resistance over time. Running will involve going faster and longer. I need endurance. Will be getting a step tracker ASAP. Health Try to eat wisely. I eat too much to where I am full. I eat pretty good - vegan dishes for a week, no red meat. I try to throw a salad in a meal and have begun to find healthy snacks. I need to have five meals a day with healthy meals included. Focus I want to meditate every day for 10 minutes minimum. I still want to rise early and will be working at that. On top of that, just be more proactive. I have a truck to fix and a potential new job. I need to work around the house and be determined. Will be sure to track this. My points will be split evenly for each goal.
  3. I'm on a " I can eat anything diet". Meaning you can stuff yourself with bad stuff and expect no health issues. Sure, you can do that and look good on the outside. On the inside you will have issues. All-fruit diets, all-something diets.
  4. I watch what I eat most of all. For longterm effects of acid reflux a doctor will most likely give you a derivative of sodium bicarbonate as far as I'm concerned. Omeprazole Bicarbonate, Esomeprazole Bicarbonate (Nexium) and Pantoprazole are commonly prescribed. Best bet is to keep your body chemistry in check though. For some reason you can have that burger that just straight up burns ya though. But nausea, never heard of it as a treatment with sodium. May just be how you eat, what you eat and other situations. Most of all, check with a doctor if health risk is concern.

Day 15 Feb. 17th Meditated for 10. Slept around five. Thankfully I woke up at ten.
  6. Cycling Goal : C Only missed two days and I will commit to making up. Workout Goal: D I did not meet the goal of completing the workout due to not having equipment. But I can do a few more pushups and squats for sure! Work Goal F I did not do work for three hours only a couple days. Meditation Goal: F I meditated only half the days, really. Sleep Goal: Big F I have no comment lol. I can't stand insomnia. I will be changing my goal setup for the next true challenge. This beginning challenge helped me see my limitation. I am not concerned about my grades. I am new to goal setting and am generally unmotivated. My quality of life is improved though!

Day 14 Feb. 16 Meditated before going to bed at 2. My sleep has been on the fritz as always. I'm going to be trying magnesium supplements and hopefully the workouts will get brutal enough to put me out. I have tried to keep my cycle with eating habits to no avail. But I think I need to find the motivation to be awake and ready for the day.

Day 11 February 13 Meditated for ten in the sun. I did not workout or do my biking. I did laundry, cleaned up house a bit, but not for three hours. I think work is what keeps me motivated and in a stream. I now have two workouts and one cardio to make up for (listed below). Lame, but I will have to do it if I don't want to work out every day. I will keep to my pledge buut grading will be tacked off. I'm actually happy with this, still. Working out more than I have in a while. Day 12 Feb. 14 Had so much going on for VD. Absolutely no meditation or anything. Did get a pullup bar thanks to my sweety! Day 13 Feb. 15 Did atleast 10 minutes meditation before bed. Energy was null. Will make up my body weight workout Sunday with cardio. I can do a pullup. Perhaps I will get resitance bands but I'm going to see how it looks. Half of one might turn into a couple in a few days. I can start to do dips, too. Reverse pullups I will still have to figure out. More than likely, this will be my goal for the upcoming challenge but it will be modified. I think I'm going to make a PVC bar for the pushups. Cheap and easy. Aye, Wolverine is the badassness. Yellow outfit or not!
  9. Spiderman And X-Men for Sega came to mind. Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic 3D Blast Dr. Mario Yoshi Island
  10. Back when I was slimmer I only got one hater comment that I was doing dope. So funny, I just started being more active and eating as much. Came right off. Never messed with the stuff. My friends became a tad threatened. But what I enjoyed was the props. I was told by many that I was looking good. My mom said I was gifted to have a size 32 waist at my age. Being an introvert, I had to also adjust to women being more open about what they thought. Soooo you will always have haters. Just enjoy the fruits of your labor. lol

    Miso!

I love the stuff. It's a very intense broth in soup. I caught myself putting a little on a spoon when I just got a tub of paste yesterday. Will be trying salad dressings soon. How else can I use it?

    Tempeh

I do tempeh like I would meat. Barbecue tempeh is wonderful. Put it in wraps, sandwiches, etc.. Put it on a salad, serve on rice with teriyaki and sesame seeds. A very awesome protein supply.
  14. Lentils are yummy. Especially in a stew. Tempeh and Tofu of course. Tempeh is preferred - very nutty flavor. I am going to make BBQ tempeh sandwiches some time in the week YUMMMM. But I keep getting pulled into tofu when I go to a sushi restaurant and order miso soup. Iron - spinach. And never forget spinach with almonds. Beans are your friends as stated.

    Snack choices

Dried fruits and veggies are fun. I'm having trouble jumping to chips when hungry. I love dates. One of my favorites, especially with a Brazil nut put inside a couple of them.
