  1. You're doing it right, FL. Love and hugs all day long for ya! See you next time.
  2. Love the groove, baby! 🏃‍♂️🚴‍♂️
  3. You know where you are and what you can expect from yourself. That seems like a decent place to be until next challenge. I feel ya and I am thinking of ya! Stay with yourself as best you can, WG. 🤗
  4. So, with all great moments, a shallow area comes into being. I getting use to them, but it's difficult not to get pissy with myself. May 18th (con't) Water: 9 cups -- check Walk: 1/2 mile+ -- check Stairs: 4 flights -- check Chore: 5 mins -- no check Cat has approved the bedroom finally, so now I'm heading to the kitchen pantry. Nothing so far, but trying to plan out where to put things while sorting that won't freak Balto out any more than necessary. May 19th (Thursday) Water: 7 1/2 cups -- check Walk: short one -- check Stairs: 2 flights -- check Chore: 3 minutes -- no check (I ordered some things to help with the summer heat, but that's not physical so no counting that) Today was a wash physically. I slept until 10 am and laid around playing on my phone and listening to the rain. Food yesterday has come back to haunt me so I'm feeling pretty drained. I know I need to comfort myself because I've been watching children's anime for two days! hehehe I've been working on chillin' out and letting the days happen as they need to without the pressure and insults building up. But now, it's time to regroup and meet myself on the battlefield! Cheers!
  5. Yeah, I play Pathfinder 1.0. I grew up playing D&D ed 1 and 2, took a break, and now I'm back at it. I'm working on a transition session or 2 to move from one area of the country to the other. I would like them to see the fight between the Ancient Magma Dragon and the Wizard Lich, but they may turn tail and leave. They have hints about the Lich and Dragon, but those are way above their pay-grade (3 players @level 8). I would like them to save the Sleipnir (8 legged horse) and a Dragonfly colony I created but I hate railroading so not sure if they'll get the chance. 🙁 Thank you, my dear. 🤗 May 17th (Tuesday) Water: 8 cups -- check Walk: nope (see below) Stairs: 2 flights -- check Chore: LOTS. I finished the bedroom (not yet cat approved, but fingers crossed)! I worked on the kitchen and did the trash and recycling. Phew, am I tired! So, yeah, no walk today! May 18th (so far, anyway) Water: 3 cups Walk: 0.85 miles with a huge incline half way through. About a 40' elevation change in about a tenth of a mile. Dang, my 🦵 🦶 😵 , every fucking thing I have was like....WHAT! Chore: 5 mins. of picking up, and thinking which doesn't count hehehe.
  6. This is great. I did something similar with candy bars. I just kept saying, let's wait 2 hours and if I still want it, I'll get it. It was a good stepping stone for me. Now, I don't eat candy bars at all. Keep it up!
  7. I feel ya on the shorts thing. Mine was a bit different but, yikes! mid-Basketball game: taking sweats off to get on the court. Shorts? Yeah, they went down as well! Partially mooned to the audience behind me.
  8. May 15th Sunday Water: 7 cups check Walk: small check Stairs: 2 flights check Chore: moved bedroom around check A pretty meh day as the bedroom stuff tired me out quite a bit. May 16th Monday Water: 7 1/2 + check Walk: 1+ mile check Stairs: 3x2 check + (6 flights today!) Chore: bathroom/more bedroom check Today ended up sucking after 6 pm. I picked up my car and they missed a piece and they got the passenger floor dirty for some reason. Otherwise, I was prepping more of my game and looking for anime to watch.
  9. May 14 Water: meh, trying to get to 6, at 3 1/2 right now. Push it! Walk: 1/2 mile walk done! Stairs: 2 flights Chore: windows almost done, but nothing else. Certainly nothing more so far... Had a very disappointing cremee today (didn't even come close to eating it all. Very sad! Game got postponed...AGAIN! One of my players is sick and needed to go to the Dr's. He has a reoccurring illness that totally sucks for him. Okay, hopefully tonight and tomorrow fare better.
  10. Rockin' it really well, 18ck! Keep the momentum. 💪
  11. Friday, the 13th! Decent day. Water: 6 cups Walk: acupuncture walk with bag of groceries for the last tenth of a mile Stairs: check (not at the end of my acu walk!) Chore: Set up air conditioner (1 of 2), covered one of 4 windows to keep the sun's rays from melting my brain and body! * This weekend: I need to rearrange my bedroom for summer, put in 2nd a/c, and finish windows. I also want to go thru my paperwork and put them back in the desk. I want to continue with spring cleaning. So it is written so it shall be done... eventually! LOL

  13. Callin' this a lag day. Small walk with 2 flights Very little water No chore yet Had to apply for life insurance! Freakin headache - y'all gonna charge me more for that?! Anyway, game is postponed until tomorrow so I can focus on chore and water tonight! Here's to it! EDIT: 15 minutes of dishes - check water at 5 cups atm (should be able to shallow another cup before bed!) 6 cups -- check!
  14. Schools are a weird universe all their own. No matter where I look, there's some unusual aspect that makes me cringe. The amount of work vs. in-class/online class contemplation time never seems to be balanced. Hope Ghostlet does well, my fingers are crossed for him!
  15. Hey My Peeps! How the hell are you two doing? Day May 10th Today, I got my 1+ mile walk in (1.7 miles to be exact!), my 2 flights of stairs right after my walk, my chore (vacuuming), and trying to keep track of my water (not sure where I am right now, about 5 cups I think with another 5 or 6 hrs. to go.
  16. Hey Cheetah, I really like this approach; keeps me from judging my actions harshly. I just want to observe and record at first. Best of luck!
  17. Sorry about the store closing; totally sucks. I don't have much to offer regarding the bubbly as I can't moderate things like that at all right now. Maybe Dry Week every other week? A friend and her mate do that pretty consistently. Love all the walking and teaching!
  18. Skulls are what? Not bad for the start of the challenge. Keep at it!
  19. Thanks, Heidi. This was really fun! Cheers! Good Luck!
  21. Thanks, dear. You are a savior to me. Just finished a 1.44 mile walk in the bright, relatively warm, sunshine of early morning (for me at least). Took about a 1/2 hour: between road crossings and navigating broken up sidewalk sections. Feel good!
  22. Awesome. Glad you're getting it done! Goals: Day 4/28 No DP -- check Water -- 4 1/2 cups (no good!) Walk -- no Rough day, spent some time in my turtle shell Day 4/29 No DP -- check Water -- 7 1/2 cups! Walk -- yes, acupuncture walk Good day, gaming prep most of the day and a bit of cleaning. I had $5 worth of the dark chocolate coconut clusters as planned, but they are way too much. I'm dropping it down to $3 worth. I ran my Pathfinder game last night, that went well. A few more sessions before the next mission. Still trying to figure out the transition. Day 4/30 No DP -- check! Water -- 7 1/2+ Walk -- yes, shopping Today, I was pretty tired and my legs still feel like logs from yesterday's walk, but that's alright. Totals for this Challenge No Dr Pepper = 100% - Yeah, baby! Water Intake: 6 cups/day - 80% goal: 17 missed days = 68% (definitely need to put more focus on this) 5 Walks per week – missed the 1st week only (so only missed 4 days total – hell yeah!) = 96% 1st week – missed 2; 2nd week – missed 1; 3rd week – missed 1; 4th week – missed 0; 5th week – missed 0 Acupuncture and Therapy walks 5 total = 100% 1+ mile/wk – YES, every damn week! BAH-HA =100% I'm proud of myself. I was in a place where I could have gone either way: do or hide. I'm glad I chose to go with my courage. Gotta keep headed that way. Thank you so much for your support. So happy to be back with my Nerds! Cheers, see you next challenge!
  23. Goals Day 4/26 No DP -- check Water -- 5 cups Walk -- yes Mental health getting better. Day 4/27 No DP -- check Water -- 4 cups + (really off today) Walk -- yup (1 sm and 1 med) Candy: still having cravings, especially when bored or later in the evening. And of course when I get frustrated. BUT, it's going well right now and that's fun. I had a Dove chocolate ice cream bar which was tasty. It's a nice treat and the dairy really helps lower the GI number so I don't sugar-spike nearly as much and it keeps me full b/c it's dairy. I'm also allowing the dark chocolate coconut clusters that I get 1/week after acupuncture. Just can't add the jellybeans to that sale! The store's called Delish for a reason! lol Home: I've been spring cleaning here and there so that's refreshing. I'm contemplating picking up the violin again but still worried about my arthritis limitations and frustration level now that it's been a little bit. I know I enjoy it, but pain and me tend to battle alone so little gets done until the pain gets back to manageable levels. I need to call my Dr. to get a referral for fixing my deviated septum and then my sleep and shoulders (hopefully my jaw as well) will get back to healthy operations. Gotta order parts for the car and get them on before the end of next week. Want to take some time to write a bit and see if the Bug takes hold again. Gaming prep is kicking into high gear as they are finishing up one section and heading to a different mission. Fun, but time-consuming. Alrighty NFers. Hang in there, we're almost finished with this one. What's next for folks? Cheers
