  1. Hi all, I need some advice on how I can drop a few body fat % points. I'm 29, 125 pounds and completely stuck at 21.5% bodyfat. No matter what, I can't seem to drop below this and I'd like to lean out more. I've been stuck here for 9 months at least. I crossfit around 4 times a week and also do strength training on those days as well. Walk 7000 steps+/ day. I eat 90-95% paleo. 50% fat/30% protein/20% carbs (carbs all from fruit, veg and sweet potato.) I try to keep my fruit consumption fairly low, sticking with green apples and berries when I do. Try very hard to avoid starchy fruits like bananas and grapes. Only sugar consumption is a few tablespoons of honey/ week. What can I do!?! Also, I just injured my wrist doing snatches about 1.5 weeks ago and am completely nervous because I'm not supposed to CF at all and can only do limited lower body training. I'm completely panicking about 1: becoming deconditioned and 2: putting on more weight/ fat!
  2. Hi all, I need some advice in what seems to be an ideal bodyfat percentage for a female/ how I can drop a few % points. I'm 29, 125 pounds and completely stuck at 21.5% bodyfat. 3. When I had the stomach flu about one month ago, I ate bananas and broth until it passed. I also ate some fresh ginger which really helped. Lots of lemon and ginger tea as well and added a smidge of honey when my throat was killing me. Couldn't eat sweet potatoes for a few days but they were ok after then. I found that eating a little less during this time while my body was actively fighting off being sick might have helped because it could focus more on healing rather than digestion.
  4. Thanks Cline! Good comments. I'm currently using the NB Minimus for my metcons and <3 them! However, I'm also starting to get more into lifting outside of the metcons as well so looking for something to support that lifting activity. I can't imagine doing a non-lifting only metcon in weightlifting shoes either
  5. I'd like some advice on this as well. I'm a female with really skinny feet and I haven't been able to find a good shoe that's narrow enough. I don't have any stores nearby me where I can just go try on a ton of pairs so I have to order everything online. Any suggestions on good brands or models?
  6. Hi all, I seem to have developed what could be tendonitis in my right wrist. About two weeks ago, I was doing some pretty heavy snatches for time and didn't finish in the overhead position evenly and since then my right wrist has been KILLING me! Sore in the tendon area and inflammed. Putting much weight on it or even doing more than 10 pushups causes lots of pain. I've been wearing a wrist support during the day while I'm at work and been trying to do modified WOD's. Here's my questions: suggestions on healing? What's taking so long!?! Also, any sort of upper body stuff that I can work on safely you think? I'm getting tired of box jumps, backsquats, running and situps... It's also making me sad not to be able to throw down like normal so any motivation would be helpful too. Thanks!
