  1. Not recently, but after my daughter gets done with her NAET treatments, I think I am going to go in and do a tune up myself.
  2. This still going down tomorrow and who all is coming? I'm game if it is still happening!
  3. Thanks for all the comments! What happened to the foot? Damned if I know, too many years of working on it I suspect. Mostly now it is the tendons on the top of my foot that are ticked off coupled by inflammation that refuses to go away. Grrrr... Even though it isn't 100% I carry on. Even did the Spartan Race Saturday and oddly enough it feels better after doing it. Figure that one out. I saw part of the Viking series, it looked pretty good. I get distracted with TV shows and never manage to watch whole series any more. Of course now I don't have a TV. And lastly, how is the challenge going? Not bad! As I said, I did the Spartan Race on Saturday, recovered Sunday and worked out yesterday. Need to find the Yoga schedule for my gym though as it seems to have changed.
  4. After much upheaval in my life, I find myself in the swamps surrounded by ROUS, but I'm still swinging! Epic Goal: Radically Transform My Life For The Better Main Goal: Be a more sexy bad ass Viking. Objective #1 - Lose 15# Objective #2 - Be able to run 5k without stopping with at least a 12min/mi pace Objective #3 - Work out at least 5 time a week Life Goal: Find a new job that I really enjoy. I will have to figure out how to assign points for this all, but wanted to get a post up. Here are some of the action steps on the board for now. 5 workouts a week in the gymGet my foot to 100% and maintain its healthRun 3x a week (after my foot will take it)Eat out no more than 3 times a week and eat healthy when I doStretch morning/eveningAttend at least 3 yoga classesEat whole grains/fruits/meat and little to no processed food.
  5. That is awesome! Keep up the hard work and I'm sure the 2nd and third will come soon enough!
  6. I have one buggered up foot and when I run with bad form or something it too tight it feels like I need to go to the chiropractor and have them disassemble my foot. Stretching EVERYTHING and loosening up my hips, thighs, calves and feet makes the pain go away. LOL thinking about it, I was at one point thinking I had damaged my knee working, because it was popping so bad. Turns out my thighs were too tight and it was pulling on my knee cap weird. Glad to hear yours has stopped!
  7. Anyone else going to the Spartan Sprint down in Washougal this year? I am training to get to where I can do the trifecta of Spartan races and would love to network with other people that are doing the same! http://www.spartanrace.com/pacific-northwest-obstacle-racing-spartan-sprint-2013.html#.
  8. There are a lot of things! Take risks and quit being lazy/chickenDon't get marriedMake moneyPut 100% into every project you doDon't try and do everything and learn to outsource
  9. Awesome! I so look forward to the day I can do that!
  10. That is awesome! I am still not able to do a pullup and never have been able to. Still keep working on it though! Good work!
  11. That is awesome! So far the best I have pulled is 12:19 on my 2 mile loop, but I will get there. Can't imagine how good it feels to get over that hurdle!
  12. My motivation to achieve my big fitness goals: Wanting to not get old and fat, so even though I am 40+ the girls won't run in terrorWanting to go on awesome adventures, which requires me to be in shapePlanning on doing the Spartan race in Greece in 2015Wanting to make it to the top of Mt. Rainer and back down again without dyingThose are what gets me off my chair and out there sweating. Once I am doing that though, I have a voice in my head that bitches up ones side and down the other when I am trying to wimp out. I call him my coach and he is brutal.
  13. Awesome achievement in an otherwise horrible week. Managed a 2 mile run today without dropping to a walk once! Feels good. Now my goal is to get under a 12 minute mile. I was only 19 seconds off that pace today.
  14. Minor Achievement! Managed a 2 mile run today without dropping to a walk once!

  15. Always a good goal. The last couple of weeks I have been pretty off the rails myself, but am working on getting things moving in a useful direction again.
