  1. Ok so i've barely posted during this challenge. But this wasn't about winning the big guns for me and I have been a busy little bee. Since starting the six week challenge i've achieved more than I thought I could, improved my diet and exercise habits and kept my house tidy (which was my level up your life goal) so im exceptionally proud of that. Below were my original stats of my body meausurements... Start of Stats Waist: 39 in Hips: 47in Thighs: 24in Stomach: 42in and now my progress.. Current Stats Waist: 34 in Hips: 44in Thighs: 22in Stomach: 37in I'm pretty freakin' chuffed! My thigh's im having real difficulty shaping up but dropping fizz and a whole lot more junk from my diet has done wonders for my tum and waist! DDP yoga is hopefully going to tone me all up now and from what i've done so far I can see my thighs following the same path as my upper half soon Oh and the back fat is goooone *does a lil dance* wahooo!
  2. thanks, yeh my body fat percentage is horrendously high right now :/
  3. Thankyou, I just did my first big cardio session in a while which was eye opening to how unfit I have become since dropping out of roller derby, I have my weights to get back into as well as DDP yoga which i will be doing with a group of people once or twice a week so hopefully upping my work outs again will make a big difference. I'm just useless at knowing what workouts are best for certain target areas.
  4. My skates were a complete surprise in the post from my fiance and i was sooo happy, i miss skating regularly with my team but current financial boohoo's have put a stop to that but when I can i will be right back to competitive skating Eating bad has been my lifestyle for so long now too and i'm the only one in the house doing the NF challenge but i'm hoping as i'm in charge of the shopping i can rope the mr in too
  5. also i'm sure my photo uploads aren't working so if anyone can enlighten me on that that would be fantastic.
  6. Thanks everyone I will definately give the tea's a shout and my partner just CANT give up fizzy and I curse him for it haha but it is a good test of obedience, so far so good i've turned down cigarettes when offered and i've had my 8 glasses of water today and ignored the coke in the fridge
  7. I'm cringing so much right now but here are 3 glorious photos of my biggest challenge, my belly and back folds (and believe me they are there with or without the bra) they have gotten worse recently too to the point where I can feel them when i'm walking about it has always been a huge confidence issue for me and I get so down about it almost daily. These photos are going on here to stop myself from falling back because I don't want to be this big, i'm sick of getting upset about my weight and i want to see the progress to keep me motivated. To be able to wear a top without a cardigan or hoodie on top of it to hide the back bulges is one of my biggest wants as well as being able to sit down somewhere without putting my hand bag on my lap or holding tightly to a cushion when i'm on someone else couch. Any tips on good exercises etc to focus on these areas would be greatly appreciated as my work out knowledge is pretty poor! Hoping you adventurers can help a chubby noob out!
  8. Firstly hello! I'm really excited about the six week challenge as I know my body responds sooo well to exercise (and fast) and i'm hoping that with my new improved attitude and the motivations of all the awesome people on here I can keep it up for good this time! I'm just going to jump right in at the deep end and put up stats and *shudders*... photos of my chub and blub. Im going to be mahoosively brave and put piccys up in my gallery and in future posts because if i'm feeling the twinge of cravings the photos will be there to make me lay off the pizza and choccys. Stats Height: 5'1 (it's the only part of me that's small) Weight: 193.2lbs Body Fat: 41% MORTIFIIIIIED Waist: 39 in Hips: 47in Thighs: 24in Stomach: 42in As the stats show I am a very chubby bunny. The only part of me that's tight and toned are my calves and that's from roller derby and probably holding the weight of the top half of me! Right, Here be my diet and fitness goals. 1,No Carbonated Drinks let the belly deflate! No treat or cheat days either with this one. That's how I've ended up back at square one its the one thing I have NEVER been able to drink in moderation I either drink it excessively or not at all and when I do drink it I look a good few months pregnant! So BYE BYE FIZZYPOP! Reward: 3 CON 2. Replace cigarettes with squats I've been on and off the fags recently and i really want to get rid of the nasty little things! So far so good i'm 3 weeks in and no fags. However every so often i get ciggy niggles, so i'm going to take the niggles and turn them into squats and reps. I will do these when I get a craving as well as once in the morning, before my main meal and before bed (when i would usually smoke) for 3 minutes. Reward 2 CHA, 1 CON 3. An hour of exercise 3 times a week minimum My beloved Angela Griffin DVD it works wonders for me I just haven't bothered my lazy backside to get up and do it god knows why because it's fun and it works! So religiously 3 times a week from this point on it shall happen. I also have DDP yoga and other work out programmes which i adore (once again just been making excuses) so I can change it up if I feel the need for change of pace. Reward: 3 STR, 1 STA, 1 DEX And this is my level up my life goal. Flat de-clutter completion My flat suffers like I do it seems like its getting there then its back to where it started, a complete mess. I'm going to break it down into sections and make up a cleaning chart of housework to be printed and filled out weekly by me and my partner so we can stay on top of chores to be done. Tomorrow will begin the major de-cluttering of the living room to make space for my cardio work out! Reward: 4 WIS I CAN DO THIIIIS!

  11. I think it's going to have to be the first thing to cut out otherwise i wont stop! I've been a lot happier since i discovered that the reason why my tummy was hurting so much was because i was drinking many cups of milky tea ... and i'm lactose intolerant.
  12. Hello urvribody, noob to here and any online forum really! Ok short and sweet on the basics. I'm Mhairi, i'm 20 years old and i'm here so that the phrase ''chubby bunny'' can go back to being the game and not my nick name! I would kill someone for an amazing figure but i know for a fact the only thing that's gonna do it is me getting off my squishy bum and doing something about it! I was doing really well on the whole fitness future route until I had a bad skating accident a few years back and after the healing/resting period just never got back on it and through my own laziness and the all to common 'i don't have time/money to do it' excuse, flushed all my hard work down the toilet and returned to all my bad habits and couch potato living. My mountain is my addiction to the fizzy's and chocolate, everything else i find relatively easy to behave with but my god have i fallen off the horse with carbonated drinks! I gave them up all together and just drank water and felt amazing for it but 'just one at the weekends' turned into 'only the weekends' and now its every day. My partner tells me off if i try to buy chocolate which has knocked that down sufficiently but when i'm alone i'm bad for a quick brownie on my lunch break and he loves his fizzy drinks too so at a loss of how to defeat the fizz!! Really looking forward to the six week challenges and hoping my revived can do attitude and the discovery of nerd fitness will make this a permanent change!
