  1. I think that is a good rate of increase. Slow & steady, let your body adapt to the new intake. I would really try to up your protein to about twice what it is as you go, if you can. This will help with both the fat loss & handling the loading from the lifting.
  2. OK, lets start this. 7/21/14 AM: Meditate, stretch, did the Pain Free Program + Somatics. Good morning.
  3. Nice work! Amused at the Catalyst Athletics post. I was on the forums there for years, a good number of years ago. Good shit. Way to go on the charts. I'm still invested in barely tracking anything so I don't get OCD.
  4. Looks like you are right on track! I find that when I go really low carb I don't have much of an appetite at all, so I need to make sure I eat my protein first to make sure I get it down.
  5. You need to eat more, yes. I'd add it in in protein & good fats. Maybe bump you intake by 10% every two weeks until you see/feel improvements. You don't need to anything fancy, just work to get your metabolism humming. What is you exercise situation? What do you do & how often? Vector
  6. I am great. I just got really really busy with the biz start up last year. It's settled down a bit, so now I need to get a wee bit more regular on the fitness front.
  7. Ah, I was just trying to get you into the gym, as you indicated you were lacking motivation. I never lasted more than five minutes on the stairs in that protocol, and it always led me to the squat rack as a safe haven! Mind games, only mind games! I've been actually thinking about running again. Not sure if my foot can handle it, but I think I must be acclimatizing to the South. Never would have expected to even consider it, here.
  8. I dropped off the NF map almost exactly a year ago. Busy time, but back at it- and just in time for another challenge, I see! Glad to be back! Vector
  9. Ska, looks like all is well in your world! Good to see.
  10. Yeah, you were on the very short list of 'who is still here and how the heck are they doing?'. But seriously, the stair mill + weights is a terrific workout you can do with just a three song playlist to get you through! Get on, and press start. Every 60 seconds press the button that makes it go faster. Repeat until you think you might explode. It's good for you, and completely mindless. Which may be exactly what you need as you start the 180!
  11. Thank you. I expect I will be here for the foreseeable future. Things are awesome! My business kind of blew up (in a good way) and so I was off just doing that. Kinda have that handled and now need to get back in the groove on the lifto end of things. Your food porn is still the best!
  12. Dude, this is rocking! Way to fuck the Crohns, IMHO. Go to the gym. Stick a 25# plate in your ruck, and get on the stair master. It's the next best thing to squats and deadlifts you can do in most gyms. Be well, the suck will cease shortly.
  13. Well, a year since I was on NF last you sound like you are the much-impoved Catspaw! All sounds awesome form a read of the last few pages. Very good to see!

Not often, and not hard! Maintaining is good right now though. No ill effects that I can see yet....

Still intending to do a version of what I previously discussed, which is cycling this program, though probably at 10-20 workouts with something like 10 workouts of my barbell complex and/or 10 workouts of progressive pulls (clean and press, clean, row, DL, each as the warmup for what follows). Something like that. maybe rotating through each in 10 workout blocks.

Thanks for checking it out, Ska! Workouts are fine, though I am feeling the desire for a couple weeks of higher volume. They'll get here when they do...

My jewelry site is up and working. Feel free to check it out. I warn you it is all pagan/magick/witchcraft related, so if that isn't your thing, at least you know in advance! http://tveirhrafnar.com/
