  1. This challenge is awesome. Go catch them all! Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  2. ** Zen master - no goal setting** This was my weirdest goal by far and was just what I needed. My sense of dissatisfaction with my own achievements in life was out of control a month ago. The urge to do everything meant that I was getting nowhere. I had hoped that I would focus on my other 2 goals but not really. Score A+ "Well done doing nothing! It is truly your special talent" Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD which may explain a lot
  3. Wow, that challenge shot past. Time goes quicker and quicker I swear. Well I may have been really lazy in posting and snapping pics this challenge but I have turned up to do an end of challenge wrap up. After all, the good stuff is all in the learning in and reflecting. So here are my thoughts on the goals that I set and what was awesome and what went less than awesome. **Ninja in the kitchen - 30 min meals** I learnt a lot doing this. No I didn't hit the 30 min mark every night for perfect marks but I don't care much. I have got myself into a routine that is working for me fairly well. I tried some new recipes from a cook book that gives instructions on getting a 3 course meal on the table in 30 mins. It's not easy to do but I picked up some organisation tips and tricks that I can keep using for my regular cooking, such as heating up all the pans that you are going to use first, then gathering your ingredients whilst they heat. I know that my major weak spot is a lack of planning. That's when I give in and get takeout. All in all I give myself a C+ "good start. Now you need to apply what you've learnt" ** Cavewoman in the gym - primal fitness ** SO I wanted to do about 3 hours of activity a week. Some fast sprinting, some heavy lifting and some moving slow. It was a vague goal which was dangerous but I hoped it would give me maximum flexibility. I certainly didn't achieve that amount of time each week but I am super duper pleased that I have stuck to a new yoga class that I'm attending twice a week. About to arrive at work so I'll be back for more wrap up later. To be continued.... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD which may explain a lot
  4. A few friends from my dept at work told me about an informal yoga group that had been started by a lady who works in our company and is also a yoga instructor. I went for the first time last week and it was super convenient to pop upstairs and get in an hour of yoga practice. This week I've been twice so I've totally got my move slowly covered for this challenge. I'll need to find something to lift this weekend though Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  5. Sausage and roast cabbage. On the table in 30. Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  6. I've been to two yoga classes this week. A lady in my company who's a yoga instructor has started doing hour long lunchtime sessions twice a week for free. Super cool! Looks like I'm taking up yoga then Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  7. Peri peri chicken on the table in 30 mins. It was a furious rush but i made it thanks to a Jamie Oliver recipe. The s sauce was awesome and I'll definitely make it again Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  8. Thurs Ninja: success. I cooked fish, broccolini and gnocchi in a tomato sauce and got bonus left overs for lunch today. Forgot to take a picture though, sorry guys. Cave woman: In my lunch break I climbed the stairs of my building up to the 25 floor and came back down again. It's the first time I've done that and I was surprised that it only took me 15 minutes. It got the heart rate up though. I. Then went up for a walk so I'm counting this as 30 mins of slow pace for the week. Zen: This is actually taking me a lot of effort but I'm on track. No extra goals today Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD which may explain a lot
  9. Yesterday Ninja: dinner was under 30 mins but.... That's because I ordered pizza so not counting that Cave woman: nup Zen: no goals Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD which may explain a lot
  10. It's possible, it just takes some planning :-) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD which may explain a lot
  11. Ninja: chicken dinner took me about 45 mins so no win for me tonight Caveman: a one hour yoga class at lunchtime today Zen: No goals Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  12. 30 mins on the table. Woot Potato isn't paleo but home cooked beats pizza Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  13. Ready, steady, go! We are underway folks. I had to go back and read my goals again because I totally forgot what I had written. Hmmm exercise. I helped my dad dig a big hole in the garden on Sat. Shame it was before the challenge because it was a great workout and I still have some achy muscles to show for it today. I should run tonight. I also have a secret weapon for my kitchen challenge. I bought the Jamie Oliver 30 min meals book. Ive already planned and shopped for this week but next week I'll try a few of these meals and see if they make life easier. Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  14. Wow med school! Good luck I feel your pain. I'm trying hard to do less right now because I've finished. The kind of people you met studying law in night classes are interesting wonderful driven people, but it can burn you out working like that for too long. I heard a guitarist busking yesterday and i straight away thought "oh I must practice playing again and get better. It would be great to play as well as him. If i schedule a couple of practice sessions a week it wouldn't take long" (I used to play as a kid but haven't picked up a guitar in years) I spotted myself. No more goals! Play or don't play but don't take on more goals. It's not a priority right now Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  15. I love your points system, it's great. Especially the combo bonus. Willpower is limited so of course the 'extra' things you do after your standard daily goals should be worth super extra points. The fact that they double the points already scored means that they are worth nothing if you haven't done your daily goals. Simple and super effective, I may just steal it.
