  1. Was at the gym last night with the wife and saw a girl that I used to go to school with. She was "squatting" the bar and 25s on each side. 95 total Now i do "Squatting " because her feet were much wider than her shoulders, she would bend at the waist, then go down to the bottom of her thigh parallel to the ground, and then shove her butt out like she was doing a good morning. I attempted to help her out and critic her form a little bit (we got along in high school so I figured that might help) Her response was "Well this is how my Ex taught me to squat, and he is a level 2 certified Crossfit Coach, what certifications do you have?" I put my headphones back in and proceeded to squat 205 for 6 reps with near perfect form ATG too. I took the headphones out and said "That’s my certification. IF you want to destroy your back and knees due to no full range of mobility, go right ahead." Put the headphones back in and proceeded to deadlift loudly next to her

Yes- I rolled 2d6 and got a 9 on my attack. that should be a hit. No- Rolled 9 I hit. I am adding in a new Point system, Hero Points will be added for certain moments such as Figuring out a situation in a very unique way, Bad ass moments in combat You find a tricky loop hole in the story that I didn't seal up Experience points will be awarded at the end of the quest, Also 1 hero Point can be spent to gain an automatic hit or 3 hero points can be spent to gain an automatic Critical hit. Extra experience will be awarded for a detailed back story of your character (helps me figure out different ideas for stories) AND/OR a picture of your character. If you don't like something that I have done or feel that I have been unfair in some way then please PM me. Do not call me out in the thread. 1) It will disrupt the story and 2) it was most likely an accident on my part. I will do what I can to correct it. That being said, if you guys are breezing through the stories that I write, I do reserve the right to throw a big baddie in that will hurt you a lot. I do not aim to kill my players but I do want this to be fun, not just a hack and slash, heroes always come out on top with no scratches. If things are getting too difficult for you then I will throw things in the other direction as well. I am a little surprised there was no tag "touch my popcorn and I'll bite you" Alright Everybody I am going to be doing some invites here but a few rules that I throwing out there (they are pretty common sense I like to think) they are more guidelines than rules. Also we need to decide something. Do we want to try and all get together on skype/Roll20 or do we want to play by post? If we do the skype/Roll20 I could (if people were okay with it) "videotape" my screen so that those not playing could follow along with us each week.

  14. just submitted a job application at a new place. I am moving from my current residency about an hour away to move in with my inlaws (this way when I leave for the military my wife won't be alone) I spoke with my employer at the bank, asking if i can get a full day off durring the week on the weeks that I work saturdays (mainly because being in by 7:45 in the am to only leave at 12:30 and having to drive an hour each way 6 days a week is a steaming pile of BS) The response I got was that we are not able to do that because it isn't fair to everyone. Meaning that the girls that that has already been done for before would have a fit because they don't get full days and so I am not able to.......And the job hating is seaping back into my life.....2.5 more hours then off for a run with the pup and a few more applications going in.

  16. I've been squaring (back squat) once a week for the past 2 months now. Same with deadlift and I have seen my 1rm skyrocket. My projected 1rm for deadlift this month was 255. I just recalculated with te numbers I did today and it is now 295.   17. Worked today, then lifted at the gym with the wife after work. Hit shoulders hard. Will post pic of workout tomorrow once phone is charged. Workout and run behind spoiler my running app was being dumb and didn't calculate the real distance just the straight line distance
  18. Recap of week 1: First off did not realize that it was week one, thought we started today so I was somewhat lax on my eating over the weekend. Oops. Monday- lifted with the wife big lift was military press Tuesday- lifted with the wife, big lift was Deadlift Wednesday- lifted with wife, big lift Bench Press Then off to celebrate my little brothers' 21st birthday! Thursday- lifted with the wife, big lift Squats Friday- Ran in AM then lifted by myself Worked arms Saturday- worked then ShadowRun Sunday- Mother-in-laws Birthday then Booster Battles for M12 with a group of friends Did not work on book atall, however it looks like I will be starting to DM a D&D group so that is my creative outlet. I know that I didn't get to post on here every day, but I feel as though I got most days so that is a plus. You use your legs for Squats, AND you use your legs for Deadlifts, so logic would dictate that if you warm up, and the lift heavy for your squats, your legs will be toasted and you won't be able to pull as heavy as you normally would on your deadlifts. Therefore, your back would not strengthen as quickly as it normally would and you actually have the potential to injure yourself as your other lifts get heavier. Squats want their own day Deadlifts want their own day
  21. Gainz will come. How advanced are you at lifting? If you know what you are doing check out Mike Rashid on youtube. Guy works his arms once a week and it will OBLITERATE YOU! I do his armogedon workout and can't touch my shoulders at the end cause my muscles are spent. Love the Belgariad referance for the name

Alright I believe I can help you with this due to it being what I am doing (sort of) My lifting schedule goes like this Mon~Shoulders/Upper Back Tues~Lower Back and Hamstings Wed~Chest/Back Thurs~Legs Fri~Arms I run each morning with the pup and trying to work in a run each night. Now I know that looks intimidating when you first look at it but by run I really mean moderate to quick jog ESPECIALLY on friday (the day after leg day is killer) For you, I would make this suggestion, Run 3 days a week and lift 3 days a week (here is how I would split it up) Monday~Legs/Back/Abs Tuesday~ Run Wednesday~Chest/Shoulders/Abs Thursday~ Run Friday~ Back/Abs Saturday~Run it looks like alot, however it will work well. Yes you are working your back twice in the week, however that is most likely your weakest part so it will help to bring that up. Also putting the Legs at the begining of the week as opposed to the end will actualy improve your running (you have a good rest day right before, and then you keep them stretched out and loose all week with your runs) Just my thoughts hope they help!   24. OH Sweet Baby Jesus today is going to Suck major hairy monkey Gonads!!!! On of my coworkers got absolutly smamered last night and is STILL drunk this morning. Besides that this should be fine
