  1. Update timeee! Day 13 (Saturday) and Day 14 (Sunday) were fairly lazy - bit of cycling and walking and an ab routine (just various exercises to work the abdominal muscles). Today's update: Day 15: Monday: First day of week 3: - body weight workout - pull-ups - ab routine I wanted to get some cycling in but started my new job today so no time for cycling and I'm not quite at the level where I feel comfortable riding to work As for the smoking and the paleo - both are still 100% on track! Thanks for staying tuned folks! Jimmy
  2. Thanks hearthsinger! I really appreciate that - it means so much more when someone says they're reading your thread for inspiration Especially when it's support from other rebels like you that keeps me inspired I love the body weight circuit! I can't lift any weights at the moment (because I'm tiny) and I don't have access to a gym or any equipment so it's a good one for me. That and the original body weight workout article had me convinced that it was the best workout. I like it because it's scaleable - I started off with one circuit and it damn-near had me spewing then I started doing the prescribed 3 circuits. Now I've moved up to 5 circuits and the next step is increasing the amount of reps in each set of exercises by 5 then 10, etc until I feel like I'm able to move on to the Advanced Body Weight Workout. I've got my own little "Level Tracking Progression Chart" which outlines all the steps needed to get me to my ultimate goal (the 300 workout and a body like Gerard Butler in 300) ...that's going to be a few years methinks But it helps let me see where I'm at and how far I've got to go. Small steps though Anyways thanks for staying tuned with my challenge, it means a lot! I've been meaning to check out everyone else's challenges and support them throughout the 6 weeks but I'm still working on it (there's a lot of rebels out there and challenges to look through and very little time) - If I'm correct, yours is the Hero challenge with the cool artwork yes? Jimmy
  3. Day 12: Friday: Today: - Body Weight Workout (I up'd the amount of circuits to 5. Once I'm able to crank that out with ease, it's on to the next step which is raising the amount of reps on each exercise by 5) ...Slow and steady wins the race - Pullups Still 100% Paleo and 100% Smoke free! Jimmy
  4. Are there 101 different ways to prepare eggs?
  5. Not enough eggs if ya ask me hehe Good work on hitting total reps with the box jumps and kettlebell!
  6. Thanks Rexxar It's come at a good time as well - last month I found nerdfitness and started making changes to my life so this will help establish a nice routine and compliment the other changes in my life Thanks Raikas! I hope so! Wouldn't mind being able to do things on the weekend again (being that I won't be working) Thanks for the support Gilfren Jimmy
  7. Should be getting more sleep... It's so hard going to bed!

  8. Thanks Alex I wanted to do something semi-dramatic or at least entertaining for my first mini-challenge And yeah I made sure I didn't strain or put too much pressure on anything. The problem was finding my footing - it's a big old mercedes so I went to push it the first few times and found my shoes just sliding back on the ground but I got it in the end Jimmy
  9. Fair effort! Let us know if you make it home Jimmy
  10. Blasphemy! mutter...mutter.... hasn't seen 300 ...mutter... But seriously - you should watch the film! The whole way through! Do it! Jimmy
  11. Mad goals Arch! One of my ultimate goals is to be able to do the 300 workout but I won't be achieving that goal any time in the near future. I've got a very in-depth plan/workout schedule with all the levelling up stages I need to complete in order to get there but it's a long journey! Love the progress your making! ...Do you watch 300 or listen to the soundtrack every time you workout? Maybe it's just me but that film gets me all fired up Jimmy
  12. Just tuned in to your challenge.... I love it! Love the goals! And the puppies... they are soooo cute!!! >_< The sleeping goal is a toughie! I'm trying to get more sleep as well (it's not apart of my 6 week challenge but it is a personal goal) and it's so hard to achieve With NerdFitness articles, new threads, topics to update and countless episodes of 'The Office' to watch (I'm rewatching all seasons), I find myself putting off bed time later and later. I can't help it! I think following your progress with the sleeping might encourage me to do it... that being said, it's now close to 1am Anyways good work on the goals! Jimmy
  13. Thanks Archbishop! Maybe I ought to start pushing the old man's car more often ...this would be much funnier if you all knew how small and shrimpy I am. ..."strongman"...me... hehe Jimmy
  14. Today's update: Day 11 (Thursday): - Cycling 5km (varying speeds) - 10 metre car push (for the ranger challenge - not something I usually do) - Pullups I love off days Jimmy
