  1. Hey NF, been awhile! I've been training on the DTP program from bodybuilding.com to change up my routine. I'm up to 185 lbs. So that's a level up on my goals. Also, just got back from backpacking in Thailand for a week. We went to Bangkok and Phuket. It was awesome. Halfway done with my Korean Lessons. 30 of 60, first module completed. Added 5k to the roth and currently make over 100k a year with my raise. Big time leveling up going on over the past few months! I can run 3 miles straight any time too! And about 14k to go on wife's student loans! Let's tally it up... 5k to roth +1 wis, +1 con finish module in Korean +1 wis new major city (Bangkok) +1 wis So I'm not posting often, but am not slacking off in my life by any means
  2. Let's see, did upper body rep day thurs and strongman training Friday. Busted out the fat grips for extra fun lol. Took it easy on Friday night and explored Seoul all day Saturday. Going to call it a +1 all around for general ass kickery this past month. Need to get on the 6 week challenges, but finally feeling at home in Korea!

  4. Yesterdays workout: 1 mile run 5 rounds of: 5 pullups 10 box jumps 15 pushups Todays: 135 Bench 23, 185: 5 135: 13 Face Pull/horizontal row superset 120/bw. 3x10/10 one arm shoulder press 50's 3x8 each arm curls 95/pushdowns 130 3x10/10 ab wheel/ gh raise sit ups 2x10/10

  6. Just signed up for a coursera social psychology course from Wesleyan University. Completely free, and get a certificate at the end. New goal for my time in Korea, 5 professional certificates. Love this. Also, downloaded an app with a ton of classic free audiobooks. Going to try and get through a new one each month. I listened to my man Joel Osteen last night and got motivated to improve myself even more. Trying to come out of the military in 4 years with the type of resume that makes jaws drop!
  7. Strongman day this morning: Keg Tosses 40 lbs 1x5 Sled drags 135 forward 2x, 90 backwards 2x 3x5 tire flips Farmers walks 80 each hand 50 m 2x Sit ups w/ twist 4x25 each side

High rep upper day today: Bench Press 135 23, 10, 10 1 min rest between sets One arm shoulder press 45's 3x8 Bent Rows 135 3x10 BB Curl/Pushdown superset 95/130 3x10, 10 Ab wheel/ghr sit ups 2x10, 10 Not too bad. Off day tomorrow, then strongman day on Friday. Feeling good about this workout so far. Did a Korean lesson last night too.
  9. Worked out this morning, 1 mile bike ride uphill, then... Box Squats 315 x 5. Lower box than normal, but felt great. Bulgarian Split Squats 35's 3x8 Tough with little rest. PullThroughs 120 3x10 Shrugs 185 2x10 with holds at the end. Nice workout!
  10. Just got out of the gym. Road my bike 5 miles to, back, to, back, to, and back from work lol. Long story. Anyway, hit the gym this afternoon. Bench worked up to 207 (11 lb plates lol) 2 reps, a little help on the third. Tough day, but whatever. Incline Press 55's 3x10 Face Pull/Inverted Row superset. 90 lbs. 3x15/10 Hammer Curls 55's 3x8 Knees to Elbows/Med ball twists superset. 15/10, 10/10
  11. I figure all of these equal 20% towards the next level for my character. add 5 xp to my character per each level through challenges. Currently +2 total. get 10k in my savings account (+1 con, +1 wis) add 5k to my roth (+1 con, +1 wis) finish language module on Korean (currently on 3 of 8) (+1 wis) Bench Press 225 5 times (+1 str) Squat 495 5 times (+1 str, +1 sta) Deadlift 435 5 times (+1 str, +1 sta) Shoot expert on m4 next month when I test (+1 dex) Get scuba certified. (+1 sta +1 wis) Join Toastmasters (+1 cha) Get my pilots license (+1 cha, +1 wis, +1 con) ski in the mall in Dubai (+1 cha) swim with great white sharks (+1 con) Shoot even par on 9 and 18 hole golf course (+3 cha) Shoot under par on 9 and 18 hole golf course (+3 cha) Learn a martial art (+3 con) Learn to play an instrument (+1 wis, +1 cha) Live in another country (+2 wis) Make 100k + a year (+2 con) Get my wife's loans paid off (+2 con) Every new major city I travel to. (+1 wis) more goals to come. Obviously these are just to get my character up to a decent low level. Level 50 will be amazing I'll do some 6 week challenges soon and add some more goals. These are just some quick ones I came up with.
  12. Hey guys, I've been kind of keeping a journal in the wrong part of the forum lol. I'll move it here. I'll update with some past posts, but for now... Just did unit PT. 3 mile run 40 ball slams (10 w/ 40lb 30 w/ 12lb) 3x30 second plank, 30 seconds of rest 21 pullups, 1 min rest, 7 pullups That run tired me out, but I've only run 3 miles without stopping once, so I'm giving myself .5 stamina. I actually wanted to walk for a bit but told myself if I made it I could add attributes. Thanks NF! lol +0.5 sta! Like I said, I'll update with some more stuff later. I'm doing WS4SB, but with unit PT (running and crossfit) instead of the explosive training. EDIT: Just realized one of my goals was to travel to a new major city. How about Vegas, Seattle, and Seoul? AND...I live in another country now. YES!

  14. Hey guys! Back in the saddle. I went through a crazy transition, and am now living in South Korea. Just got an apartment (furniture comes in 9 days), bought a bike to commute around the city, and am buying a car Wednesday. Oh man. Ok. So I started WS4SB, but have to mix in the running days w/ unity PT. Should work out great actually. A little less football player, a little more Special Forces nomsayin'? Workout log starts tomorrow. 6 week challenges start with the next one, or after my furniture comes and my life feels normal again. See ya soon!
