      It's a no excuse day!

  3. Just had an awesome 30 minute powerwalk instead of a bike ride. Covered in sweat and I have a rather bad stitch!

Totally worth it though right? Hey, ya gonna update your challenge?

  4. Rest day is here, hooray.

  5. I only planned for a short 15 minute walk in the sun, but I managed to get lost and have a nice 30 minute walk instead.

  6. Wow, I haven't been on here for almost a month. I shall come clean. Apart from a weekend of hiking, I have completely quit the fitness thing until yesterday, when I started working out again. I have gained weight, lost any desire to exercise and ate like shit. But yesterday, I saw a picture of myself and realized what I was doing to my body. Additionally, I really struggled to keep up on my hiking weekend and felt really bad for having to keep stopping because I was so unfit. It ends now.

Welcome back! Sometimes, a real-life illustration of why fitness is important is all it takes. Don't be too hard on yourself, just jump back in.

      LostOne! Alas,here I am.

  7. I've been seriously neglecting my challenge, my body and my mind of late. I need to renew and start fresh. Deep breaths. Workout, Study Hard, Relax, Eat Well, Do My Hobbies. Ok, we're ready.

      And the race is on!

  8. Those days when you realize you're still 600 calories under your calorie limit, ooh I shall have fun hehe

I usually think "Damn, but the fridge is empty"

  9. Just finished 2 hours of rounders. I hate rounders.

  10. I've been forced into 2 hours of rounders tomorrow. I am not amused.

  11. 2 days in and I'm already missing chocolate... oh well! Done some writing today but not really feeling it. I have so much exam revision to do!

  12. Very proud, the whole family is eating some greasy fish and chips, one of my guilty pleasures, and I turned it down! I'll cook something nice and healthy later.

      Awesome willpower, my friend!!

  13. Ok, yesterday, I did a fairly pathetic amoutn of cardio but I'm serious about this so I'll be making workout plans today. 2 days of cardio, 2 days of strength training. This ought to do it.

  14. First run of the challenge completed. It only lasted 15 minutes so I think I'll do 5 minutes of Blogilates to fill the time...

  15. I've certainly given chocolate and dessert a fond farewell for the next 6 weeks, by eating as much of it as I could.

  16. Nothing gets me quite as pumped as watching Spartacus.

  17. I just had the weirdest experience. I was walking to the shops in the sunshine, and I had the sudden urge to run. Not to go for a nice jog, but to run as fast as I could for as long as I could, for no apparent reason. So run I did. It may be because I haven't done proper exercise since Tuesday but still, weird.

I get that urge every once in a while. Never comes at a point where it would be convenient for you to run either...

I was carrying a newspaper and my hair was all over the place...

  18. Eager to get started again, it's been a while.

  19. I've managed to injure my knee on that hike and it twinges pretty badly everytime I take a step, I figure it would be unwise to run with my knee like this, does anyone have any suggestions for what I could do instead of running that would be beneficial to 5k training?

A stationary bike will help build cardio endurance, but if your knee hurts let it rest and ice it.

  21. Hopefully the weather clears up for my run this evening. It'll probably be slow and sore but worth it all the same.

Haven't you heard? Slow and sore wins the race!

  22. Just got back from my 2 day hike. My legs are killing me and I have a blister the size of a marble on the side of my toe. Safe to say, lots of sleep tonight and I won't be walking tomorrow!

  23. Just bought Exodus tickets!

  24. This 2 day hike that I'm doing this weekend will be great, although I won't be able to get my running training in. Oh well, if this doesn't build stamina, I don't know what will.
