  1. Cycled about 14 miles today, arse is numb and legs are killing, but calories have been burnt!

  2. So, I try to eat healthily, but I also don't forbid myself from eating certain foods eg. chocolate, in the hope that I won't go on a binge. This doesn't seem to be working for me. I just ate: A tortilla wrap with ham and cheese A packet of prawn cocktail walkers crisps A packet of mini cadbury fingers A jam tart A tube of smarties It's not even like I was hungry after the first 3 items of food, I don't know why I eat that crap. Any tips?
  3. It's Thursday, Scout training day! Scout training is basically either running or cycling for at least 20 mins or 45 mins respectively, I hate running so cycling it is!

  4. Pack for rain, it rains 90% of the time here and it gets bloody freezing. In my opinion, head up to Scotland and Ireland as England is a bit shit. Backpack the Highlands. Best thing in the world.
  5. Chocolate is my enemy, I'm still working on quitting it. It's like I have an emotional connection with it.
  6. I'll be honest, after all this time, JK Rowling is still my favorite author of all time. Her books were my childhood and Hogwarts is my home.
  7. I need to play Quidditch.
  8. I use the parkour roll if I'm jumping and landing. Land on your toes and bend your knees to absorb impact. That's all I can advise.
  9. I try and eat some sweet fruit eg strawberries when I'm craving chocolate, but it doesn't work. Especially at easter..
  10. Try Blogilates, it's like pilates but fun and more intense. Search it on youtube.
  11. I love biking but I only do it once a week if that... this seems like a great plan! I'll start tomorrow.

  13. I know right? How is air guitar exercise? But I tell you now, spend 30 minutes rocking out to some Marilyn Manson, for example, and you will end up sweating like a pig and on an endorphin high like you just had an orgasm.. okay, maybe not that good but it still feels awesome! It gets your heart rate up and you have some serious fun while doing it. Get some friends over and headbang in unison! Although, by air guitar, I do not mean standing still and miming along to John Mayer, I mean jumping around, headbanging and even throwing in some booty shaking if it takes your fancy!

  17. Oh or when people tell me as a woman it's weird for me to want to learn martial arts or fight or have any *GASP* muscles. You are woman! You must stay home and have babies!
  18. When my friend tells me that vomiting after every meal helped her lose loads of weight and that I should do it. Thanks but I'm fine exercising and eating healthy rather that ripping out my stomach lining and hating myself.
  19. I actually enjoy doing push-ups, almost as much as I love squats, but I can only do around 25 before collapsing. This can be something to work up to for me
  20. Spartacus has always been my favorite person who rebelled, apart from Marilyn Manson I am here to rebel against the old me. The me that is not good enough. I am going to become the best version of myself I can. I am a woman who has very low self esteem but I have joined the legions of brothers and sisters at NerdFitness to become a better, fitter and more confident person. True, I am no gladiator, but I will be bathed in the glory of victory. Victory against the fat, lazy, unmotivated, old me. Plus I have full intentions of looking hot naked. But that will just be a bonus Some stuff about me, I'm 5ft 6', 144 pounds last time I checked...although I did get through an entire easter egg today... Not got the best diet ( I eat too much chocolate, the curse of being a woman), I like to cycle 10 miles every weekend, I actually do sword fight in my spare time (not professionally) and I play guitar (not very well). Does air guitar count as exercise? I can go for an hour at a time and end up dripping with sweat, I have a set list and everything...Maybe I should have kept that to myself... Anyway, pleasure to join you all after lurking for too long!
