      Aim to do whatever you do to a) get stronger and B) enjoy it. Then address the diet and the body will follow suit. But get strength and enjoyment first. ;)

      Maybe I should clarify... I can't seem to lose weight, or volume. I feel like I've been the same everything for the last two challenges.

      Ooohh okay. I've been in that situation too, actually (lasted a challenge and a half). I was very frustrated and what I had to do was pay more attention to my diet. That's what broke it for me, anyway, but I think it was the system shock of snapping back on calorie counting that broke through the plateau for myself.

      Regardless, we're here for you and you're in this for the long haul. You will break through the plateau, it will just take time. If you need a second set of eyes on what you're doing, feel free to PM me or someone in your support group.

      ditto CactusWren - although for me maybe it's just the distraction. You can always stop playing (unless your coach is awful)

      Alright, you've convinced me to go, and you're right, if I'm going to feel miserable I might as well get some exercise too. I'll just go buy some Midol or something extra strength and suck it up.

  16. Been feeling great the past few days. Wondering what I can accomplish in three months of real resolve. Oct 1st, here I come!

      I knew from my own running experience that being lighter made you faster, but I didn't realize that even 2-3lbs could make a difference.

      Umm, probably nothing really. I'm thinking maybe brunch with a friend. I'm not much of one for bday celebrations, but I do want to enjoy a cheat piece of cake :D

      In my experience, it's hard to live with someone for any amount of time without hating them at least a little bit.

  23. Nondisclosure agreements make a really great excuse when you come home and don't want to tell your roommate about how your day was at work.

      No, it was actually a pretty great day! I just don't like the girl who is subletting from my regular roommate. So its easier to say "Oh, I can't tell you." :)

  24. Salad without protein doesn't equal much of a meal. I guess I'll just keep drinking coffee :-/ I don't know how you vegitarians do it.
