  1. Had my first experience with deadlifts yesterday, having my first experience with being crazy sore today. Win?

      No worries, it definitely muscle soreness, mainly hamstrings... why did I park on the 7th floor today? My legs, they burn :D

      hahaha, thanks pwallace, I did embrace the burn and went and played soccer today... played soccer like a crippled old man, but I got my workout in none the less.

  2. Today I went to the grocey store and bought enough meat that the cashier asked if I was having a BBQ.... umm no, I eat paleo.

  3. Oh man, I totally saw a huge possum outside my building, I didn't even know we had possums in LA! In other news I also gained 1.5lbs, this honesty thing sucks. And so do possums.

      1.5lbs is nothing, don't worry about it, your weight from morning to evening fluctuates by more than 1.5lbs. Stay the course!

      Irish is right. I've fluctuated 4lbs within a day before. Don't watch the scale so closely!

      Maybe I should clarify... I can't seem to lose weight, or volume. I feel like I've been the same everything for the last two challenges.

      Ooohh okay. I've been in that situation too, actually (lasted a challenge and a half). I was very frustrated and what I had to do was pay more attention to my diet. That's what broke it for me, anyway, but I think it was the system shock of snapping back on calorie counting that broke through the plateau for myself.

      Regardless, we're here for you and you're in this for the long haul. You will break through the plateau, it will just take time. If you need a second set of eyes on what you're doing, feel free to PM me or someone in your support group.

      Ahh, my computer is over five years old, which to Apple means it doesn't exist so there are no longer updates for it, which is just so stupid.

      That is stupid! I thankfully don't have to worry about that. My sister and I built our computer, for the sole purpose of being fast and able to handle gaming. If something is outdated I just buy the part and put it in.

      Whenever I want to know about my spelling I just copy what I just wrote, and paste it on my e-mail of office program. They have spellcheck!

      Wow, I'm impressed, unless its a camera I'm pretty technologically illiterate. But I do however copy words into google to make sure I'm spelling them right. I've always been a terrible speller.

  7. Salad without protein doesn't equal much of a meal. I guess I'll just keep drinking coffee :-/ I don't know how you vegitarians do it.

      Sadly creativity rarely comes to me while working out, mostly just randomly. And no Sandwich, I don't have homework, I'm at the point where creativity is my job, which is both wonderful and deeply frustrating in equal measures.

      In that I feel like half the dudes are there just to show off for each other, grunt and hog the equipment. So you're both right, its hilarious and annoying when they stop me from doing what I want to do.

      I knew from my own running experience that being lighter made you faster, but I didn't realize that even 2-3lbs could make a difference.
