  1. It'll help me get a little closer to paleo than where I am. And I think I can add protein in other areas. But I'll see how it goes.
  2. Hey guys, I've been lurking for a while and figure its time to start participating in the challenges. The focus of this challenge will be to build a solid foundation. I want to eventually try parkour, get back into rock climbing, and a lot of other stuff, but I think I need to build up my overall fitness first before moving on to new activities. Goal 1: Eat cleaner (Wis +1, Con +3) Milk and candy bars are my biggest weakness. I eat as paleo/primal as I can, but these two foods seem to trip me up the most. My goal is to cut both completely out. My grading system will count glasses of milk and candy bars and run for the entire challenge. For example, 2 glasses of milk and 2 snickers = 4 = C. A=0 B=2 C=4 D=6 Goal 2: Do a dragon flag negative (Str +3) I've wanted to do a dragon flag ever since I heard about it. My goal for this challenge is to do a controlled negative by the end of 6 weeks. This one is pass/fail. Goal 3:Run 4.5 miles in less than 40 minutes (Sta +4, Dex +1) An assassin must be able to catch his target, so I'm adding some cardio here. I'm not aiming for distance as much as running a set distance as fast as possible. My base time for this route is 43:43, so I'll need to knock :30 off of each week in order to reach my goal. A: Sub 40 B: 40:00-40:30 C: 40:30-41:00 D:41:00-41:30 Goal 4: Graduate! (Wis +2) I'm finishing my undergrad degree this May. I need to keep focused over the next few weeks to make sure I finish all of my classes strong. My biggest obstacle in this challenge will be balancing the demands of my final projects, work, and my workouts. Until I finish school I'll be working out when I can and trying out different days/times/routines to see what works.
