  1. One painful thing I've noticed these 2 weeks, is how the people in my immediate environment do not want me to take my goals seriously! "c'mon, just come out with us!" "just one drink after work!" " ughhh... Rachel, you're no fun" I did fail one aspect of my weekly goals: I'm leaving my job at the end of July along with a few other people at work. There was a last minute going away party for these people and me at a bar/restaurant. One of my goals is to eat at home 5 days a week (essentially leaving me with 2 times to eat out or go for coffee during my week) I went out twice already last week and going to the work party made 3. I felt like I had to go. It was a going away party with people I still have to spend 2 months with! I must admit, it made me feel like I didn't have a choice. I didn't even want to be there. It was at a bar, it was loud, it was late I wasn't hungry. WHAT THE HELL WAS I DOING THERE? In the end, I didn't really have to go; was it more worth disappointing myself? Or the bosses and coworkers?

  6. I really enjoyed reading this! Good luck to you and I hope your first week was a good one
  7. Well, that SMART criteria certainly works! It's only been one week but I did find myself thinking, 'I'll do it tomorrow....blahhhhhh' a couple times. I got that song from The Sound of Music stuck in my head - I Have Confidence- when I was feeling less than motivated: Because I set realistic goals though, It was not complicated. It was manageable and painless because I JUST DID IT ANYWAY. I'm sure this coming up week will be easier because my lazy-bones mood has been somewhat defeated! I also think I've had a better attitude this week in general at work and with my realtionships. I was definitely EXHAUSTED at the end of each day but I don't mind
  8. Day #2 of my first 6 week challenge: FEELIN GOOD YA'LL!
