  1. HERE WE GO! Second challenge begin! My first challenge went alright. If nothing else I learned a lot about setting my own personal goals and my own motivation. I still stand by none of my goals were out of my reach but I just didn't make myself try for them hard enough. This time around I am going to tweak them a little and really give it my all. No excuses. I am not that worried about my weight but I am putting it down with all my measurements so that I have an accurate scale for if I gain muscle mass and just for my own interest. Current Stats Weight : 137.5 lbs Height : 5'5.75" Bust : 34" Waist : 29.5" Hips : 40.25" Thigh : 21.25" Calves : 13.25" Bicep : 11" Run 5k (4 STA) This was one of my goals last time that I let myself get distracted from. No more distractions. I already have a couple week head start into the Zombies Run Training program so I know I can do this! The rain is almost over and the snow is gone which were my two big excuses last challenge so I am going to push forward and complete this!!!! A – Successfully run 5k without stopping (4) B – Follow the program 3 times a week but don’t meet goal (3) C – Miss 1-5 runs (2) D – Miss 3-6 runs (1) F – Miss more than 7 runs (0) Eating Habits (4 CON) SOON! A – xx (4) B – xx (3) C – xx (2) D – xx (1) F – xx (0) Stretching (3 DEX) This is what I did best with last challenge but I am far from where I want to be. I want to keep it up and maybe mix some Yoga and stuff into it! I must partake in a yoga/stretching activity for at least 10 minutes for the session to count. A – Successfully do reps 5x a week (3) B – Miss only 1-3 over 6 weeks (2) C – Miss 3-5 over 6 weeks (1) F – Miss more than 9 evenings over 6 weeks (0) Sewing Machine (4 WIS) I received a free sewing machine that my mother found while volunteering to help clean a hoarder house. It doesn't work After this heart breaking news and my mom asking for me to return hers (man I miss living at home sometimes. Borrowing her things was way easier) I want to save up and get my own!!! I figure six weeks is plenty time to put aside some money for this so anything above and beyond I save I can either get a fancier machine or put it towards other craft supplies. If I save at least $20 a week I will have $120 by the end of this challenge. Enough for a low end sewing machine (or if I can find a decent used one). This is also taking into account I am saving money for larger purchases and still have a rainy day fund. This savings is to come out of my monthly fun money budget. A – Save more then $20 a week (At least $130 by the end) (4 WIS) B – Save $20 a week (3 WIS) C – Save $120 but miss saving some weeks (2 WIS) F – Don't save anything. (0) WISH ME LUCK!
  2. THERE WE WENT! Alright. Wish I had done better for my first time but I did so much more then I would have without the challenge so that is a really big personal success for me. I am really looking forward to the next challenge. I will be using this as building blocks for experience and really getting a chance to look into my weaknesses and strengths. With a bad week and a few bad weather days (really need to get a gym membership) I missed more runs than I would have liked L Going to give myself a D here. I will be repeating this one next time though as it will be a more manageable goal. +1 STA Squats, Sit-ups, Push-ups Again not near as well as I would have liked but I have no one to blame but myself for this. I was a lot more active in other ways but I found motivating myself to do these specific tasks tricky. +2 STR Stretching Hurrah! This one went fairly well. Although I didn’t always do my squats, sit-ups, and push-ups I did do my stretching more frequently. I snuck some in at work, after my runs, and did a little bit of yoga which was also nice with my friend so I felt pretty good about this. Going to give myself a B here as not all weeks were 5x. +2 DEX Home Cooked Meals/Time Management I did better here than I thought I would but there were a few times that not much happened. I came across some really big financial strains that forced me to eat the canned foods from my cupboards but since it wasn’t eating fast food it is better than it could have been. I made a few meals that doubled as lunches and then some meals that would just be lunches which was really nice (Have a chicken salad for today!). It was nice spending more time in the kitchen. It also got me baking more, which while not so healthy I really, really love so that fell into the lifestyle part of this goal quite nice +1 CON+1 WIS Mini Challenge #1 Complete +1 WIS Sandree Level Two Elven Adventurer STR 4 | DEX 3 | STA 2 | CON 3 | WIS 6 | CHA 5

  5. Thanks!! Thanks I need to set aside a little of this money to buy a pedometer as well. Tempted to save up for the fitbit though since you have had so much success with it. Just tired of carrying my phone around everywhere to track my steps
  6. This one SHOULD be pretty easy for me as Squats, Pushup, & Situps are already on my schedule. However I will add Couch Dips to the list and make this more of a challenge to myself by making sure I don't start a second show or second movie without finishing this in the evening! Want to watch another episode of Sherlock? Not unless you have finished your circuit Thinking of putting on Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets since you just finished the first one and marathons are what the cool kids are doing? NOT UNTIL YOU HAVE FINISHED YOUR CIRCUIT!
  7. Really getting ready to rock these last ten days. This last week had not been my best week. The weather has been great so I have been going on lots of walks with friends but I need to push myself more independently. I was also feeling really broke so instead of buying more groceries I was eating through the canned foods in the cupboard and frozen foods in the freezer. Although I did make food at home instead of eating out I wasn't really making meals so not a good week for me. Got paid yesterday though so I look forward to getting some meals going and really making these last ten days count!
  8. Slight bummer this week. Washed my pedometer by accident. Was totally fine for the first two days but then started putzing out. Been using my phone to fill in for now but I really need to track a new one down. Cooking went alright for the week though. Doing a meal tonight and that will be on schedule. Also going to run today. Trying to decide if I should just go now or wait till my boyfriend wakes up because I know he will want to run with me...

  11. THE CHALLENGE IS GOING!!! This weekend was full of not making my own food but I for sure got my cardio in. They expanded the con space this year which was awesome and created more space for me to adventure!!! Have my dinner for tonight planned (Salmon and whatever veggie in my fridge is the oldest...I think I have a salad that needs to be eaten tonight) and now that I am officially done classes forever (AND EVER AND EVER!!!!) and con is done I have SO MUCH FREE TIME! I hope to run after work today. A couple hours ago it was miserable. Crazy winds and snow. Now just sorta crazy winds. Might just go to my parents and use their treadmill and watch their cable since I have to stop by and bring in their mail while they are out of town anyways. WIN WIN! The hardest part so far has been the strength. However since that is what my boyfriend is the most keen on himself it has been a nice balance with him motivating me there and me working on getting him in the kitchen more. Large image to follow but because I was pretty happy with how my cosplay for the con turned out! Nissa Revane from Magic the Gathering. Honestly not the best card and if you read the books she is kinda dumb as a rock but I wanted to make something pretty and I like that her character is kinda a snooty elf. Made it more fun

  13. Love the sketches. Your style is really awesome. Your little yoga comic makes me laugh because I have the exact same range of flexibility. That last pose always makes me feel really good because I can go into it properly. Keep on rockin'
  14. Been feeling really positive and happy lately. Seeing all sorts of good things around the world that are trumping the bad and it is really motivating. Lots of love and feels to all the great people out there.
