  1. I dunno. Pick a place man and i will be there.
  2. Need to make a decision soon! Haha it's tomorrow. I am up for anything. I might not participate in any physical activities, but I'd hang out. I really need my rest day which is Wednesday.
  3. Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been on the forums much. With my work schedule changes and my marathon training really heating up, I haven't been on the site much. Are we down with meeting 7:30pm on Wednesday (4/8)? I think at the last meet, we had talked about going to Taj. Is that still good? Taj Cuisine of India 1500 NW 23rd St, Oklahoma City, OK 73106 If we want to shift to next week or whatever so 4evermetal can go, I'm cool with that too. Whatever works for everyone.
  4. Also sooooo looking forward to meeting new people and seeing our group grow!!!
  5. I'm down. And I say we descend on them unprepared like a bunch of rampaging Vikings.
  6. Okay! This Wednesday, March 11 at 7:30pm at Gopuram! Windsor Hills Shopping Center, 4559 NW 23rd St, Oklahoma City, OK 73127
  7. 4evermetal had mentioned that Tuesdays were better, but Wednesday was our normal day. I'm cool with that. I assume she's the only one with a scheduling conflict, so I'll let her make the call. Still need to figure out a place to meet next week!
  8. Want to do Tuesday at 7:30 again? That seemed to work well.
  9. Nice to see another runner! I am doing the OKC full in April and maybe the Strides of March half next weekend. There's a 50K trail race in Colorado in May that I'm thinking of doing with my No Meat Athlete crew. In June, I'm debating between doing the Angelfire 50K in New Mexico or the War Eagle trail 50K in Arkansas. Other than that, my next planned race is the Rock & Roll Las Vegas marathon in November. Good times! Oh! I'm also going to do 24 the Hard Way in October! I'm either going to do the 6 hour option, or I'm going to do 6 hours as part of a 24 hour relay team.
  10. I'm good with that. Golden Phoenix 2728 North Classen Boulevard, Oklahoma City, OK 73106 Tuesday, February 17th at 7:30! Be there or be a n00b! HEY NEW PEOPLE YOU SHOULD COME AND MEET NEW PEOPLE AND TALK ABOUT FITNESS AND NERD STUFF!!!
  11. Someone else pick this time!
  12. That would be awesome if you could join us!!! I don't know if you are into running, but I'm part of a few running groups that meet up during the week. Every Monday night at 6pm there's a trail running group that meets at Bluff Creek. Every Thursday night Red Coyote has a free beer run at their store at 6pm. Every Sunday at 3pm, No Meat Athlete meets for a run at the Womb art gallery and we finish with some coffee at Coffee Slingers afterwards. You don't have to be plant-based to join! We, the OKC rebels, meet every second Wednesday of the month. The location usually changes each time. Usually we go somewhere to grab a bite to eat and chat about fitness goals and nerd stuff.
  13. I haven't weighed myself. My eating has been off since Christmas. I had some shit happen that I don't want to get into here. Looking forward to seeing you guys next week. Got a new place we can check out if you guys want. Lots of soups, salads, sandwiches, and beer. A few veggie options for me, too. What you guys think? The Mule 1630 North Blackwelder AvenueOklahoma City, OK 73106
  14. I'm off work today and already awake. I can do anytime
  15. I'm good with earlier too. What time?
  16. I won't allow you to have baklava.
  17. Sexy bish. Shawarma on Wednesday?
  18. FYI, we're doing the shawarma place again next month. Ms. Metal needs to experience the greatness of the tea, baklava, and of course the delicious healthy goodness.
  19. Dat tea, yo. I found myself thinking of excuses to go there earlier today. Haha.
  20. So in case anyone new wants to join, we're meeting at 7:30pm on Wednesday! Shawarma Vite 1129 Elm Ave, Norman, OK 73069 Join us and we will be like this tomorrow:
