  1. Yes! DO IT! It will increase your chances of actually meeting him... Which increases MY chances of actually meeting him. Get to work!
  2. That's a lot of push ups! Sounds like you're back on track
  3. It is actually holding up well all things considered.
  4. nope... worse... kick night. 100 front snaps 100 side 100 roundhouse 100 hook 100 skew 50 point kicks 100 slamming door 100 axe 100 cresent kicks 100 inner knee kicks 50 back kicks On the plus side, I was too tired to feel pain. On the downside... tomorrow is going to hurt
  5. Knee is not better, gonna go to class tonight anyway but haven't really done much exercise... hoping some cardio loosens things up.
  6. Didn't exercise last night and I'm not going to tonight, left knee isn't feeling great so I'm forcing myself to take it easy. Might do a bit of yoga tomorrow if things aren't feeling any better.
  7. I never actually saw Event Horizon... I'm too high strung for horror movies.
  8. I am 100% gonna try and do your tracking format as part of my next challenge! So much detail!
  9. Weekend wasn't very paleo in general. Gotta refocus and get back at it.
  10. Another fun workout in class this morning 20 pushups 20 tri pushups 20 wide pushups 15 L pushups each side 10 dive bombers 10 lunges 20 leg raises 65 in and outs 90 second plank then spent the whole actual class working on the roundhouse
  11. Made the right choice taking a break on Wednesday because the workout in class yesterday was brutal. 6 sets of 50 punches each side 2 sets of kicks, one of which was the roundhouse which is one of the hardest kicks in terms of stamina drain that we do in our cardio sets. Managed the full 100 without losing my form and kept the count. I was the only one other than the grandmaster who didn't run out of steam at some point! That felt good.
  12. boo @ no class yay at everything else glad you're going the VIP route, it is the best
  13. I do not possess the self restraint required to eat only five almonds. How do you consistently manage to only eat 5?
  14. lol "Damn these muscles" You're completely right though, the nice part about this challenge is that I've been so focused on the goals and accomplishing them that I haven't really been concerned with how I look... Which means it kinda jumps out at me. I feel dumb that I haven't taken any progress pics but I think I'm gonna do some from now to the end of the challenge as well as going forward.
  15. so my knee was twitching last night so I gave it a rest so that I would be in fighting trim for tonight's Hapkido class. Been noticing that my core is getting less gooey which makes me happy
  16. Workout around the knee issue even if it is just small stuff. It is a stress relief like you said so find something to do that isn't your 5x5 until you're ready to dive back in! Stretching, Yoga, let my bad knees be the guide to help you navigate around your temporary knee pain. Best way to beat work funk is a resume reboot. Do it! Did mine in January, had a new job in March, didn't need the resume since it was internal but the resolve gained from doing it gave me was what kept me going.
  17. *nudge nudge* come on He-man, I wanna see less Cringer and more Battle Cat!
  18. Thanks, my best is 90 seconds which is how we end all our Saturday workouts in class. I'm one of the few that can do the full 90 which makes me feel pretty good.
  19. Boom, headshot! That's really awesome Mouse, perfect example of how easy it is for lifestyle change can turn around health problems!
