Hi all, I've struggled with weight recently and not for lack of trying in the gym! I train really hard but then blow it all eating absolute crap, as in takeaways 4-5 nights a week (really bad I know and I am so ashamed of it). My wife and I made the commitment to try eating paleo-like as that may also help me identify food sources that contribute to my psoriasis flare ups. The only non-paleo food that I plan on having is a protein shake (because it is just so damn good). Anyway here is my plan: Breakfast - 2-3 eggs with shaved ham/chicken/turkey, piece of fruit, + Protein shake on workout mornings Lunch - Salad (Mixed greens bag + cucumber, peppers etc...) with some sort of meat over it (chicken, lamb, etc..) + Dressing (EVO + vinegar) Snack - Protein Shake + Handful of nuts Dinner - This is where it has been falling apart for me, I find eating clean till this point is easy and then I get home from work and can't be bothered cooking. This seems to just be a willpower battle for me over convenience. So in order to streamline it this is what I am thinking: Mon - Fri - Nice cuts of meat, spend a little extra but make it something I want to eat (rather than just chicken breasts every day....) Then on my way home I will stop at a local vege shop (Literally on my route home) and pick out 2-3 servings of veges that I feel like eating Get home and cook Meat + Vege - This is simple to me but I know quick ways to make the veges tasty Sat and Sun I might whip out the cookbook and find something a little more involved because I have the time. We are going to start this this week so hopefully it works well. Interested to hear others opinions or what has worked for them.

Hello all

Essentially I am following the Wheat Belly diet and leaving wheat out completely. To go with this I am also limiting my carb intake (still have oats and a bit of brown rice). I am pairing this with Leangains IF so am hoping for some good results. Am tracking my calories as well to ensure that I am not under/over eating -
New to the forum, browsed around and seemed like a fun place to be! I am a 27 year old male. Currently living in Hamilton, New Zealand. I am a teacher and currently teach year 5's (which is 4th grade for you Americans), although in previous years I have taught Year 8 (7th grade). As you can most likely tell by my name and avatar I am a big comics fan with Daredevil being my Favourite character. I also read a bunch of other Marvel and DC comics. On to fitness then. I have struggled with my weight through my early 20's and am now finally starting to see the light thanks to an awesome PT. I have packed on some solid muscle and have grown in strength over the past 6 months but my eating habits have stopped me from reaching my full potential. I have now got a plan in place for my eating and so I should see some great results in no time. My approach to training is to not back down and I push myself as far as I can go every session. That means lifting heavy and plenty of supersets. I am on here mainly for some motivation and a place to keep track of my achievements and get some advice!
