  3. How many hours do you have for cooking a day? A frozen bag of chicken breasts is my friend . Toss how many breasts you want and you'll be done cooking them in... 15 - 20 mins? How do you like your veggies?

  5. Everyone reacts to coffee in very different ways. My mom has to drink coffee regularly. I rarely drink it, and if I do, it doesn't wake me up, doesn't raise my alertness level... Probably got that from my mom though.. She can drink a red bull and go right to bed.......
  6. I avoid anything with artificial sweeteners when I can, so when I do taste something, I can tell... even if I'm not told, that it's artificial......

  9. I don't know about post workout benefits, but after a stressfull day or dealing with kids, chocolate milk is a good stress reliever.

  11. Weeell then go for it! Has a doctor given you the ok to exercise?? If you want to do some crossfit, then you should research the available gyms before you make a decision. Anyways, I think the community is very supportive. What are your initial fitness goals?

  13. Use a wall for lunges? I do pushups on my knees already... :$ I did a total of 5 full pushups and the rest were knee pushups...
  14. Because I physically couldn't do anymore. I couldn't lift myself from the pushups and I was falling to my side while doing my lunges. If form starts to suffer, it is lots safer to stop I think.

  16. Maybe this might help. I prepare my lunch the night before based on leftovers from dinner. I make a ver quick breakfast consisting of two eggs, twi strips of bacon and about 8 oz of milk. It's not exactly paleo, but its pretty healhy i think.
  17. I ask just to see if there was just a better way, I have been doing the beginner bodyweight workout during the morning before breakfast. I was thinking that it was affecting my workout negatively, because I had been able to do two full circuits. That was over a week ago before I satrted exercising in the mornings. But today that changed, I did two full circuits and was two push ups and ten lunges away from completing my third circuit. I'm getting stronger .
  18. One more thing I'd add to everything else, your knees are bent beyond your toes, and I bet you feel the weight on the balls of your feet, instead of the heels of your feet. Try squatting as if you were sitting down.

    I would suggest you go to a doctor to check that out.. that is not normal.
  21. There really is no need for this animosity. I can see that there are various styles of dieting and passion over those styles, or their facts. That's fine. We can choose what works for us, since there is no one true formula that works for everyone. If it wasn't for this kind of diversity or any kind, the world would be pretty darn boring wouldn't it? Let's celebrate and learn from our differences, yes? Anyways... What's IIFYM!?

  23. You know this happened to me once years ago, and to this day I don't know why. Some people say it is a circulation problem... have you talked to a doctor about this?
