  1. Yes, it is! do you know what everyone else has been up to? Lol thank you So this first week really flew by overall I met my goals for the most part. Except I didn't make it to the gym 3 times for strength training, but still feel pretty awesome! My eat habits have been good and haven't had anything really bad since the cheesecake. I went to the gym this morning and did 45 minutes and a little over 4 miles for cardio. Tomorrow is more strength training and wrapping up a few things before I head out of town for a while.
  2. Thank you very much Raev! Thank you VTSPE772! I haven't really slowed down since then, and I really try to stick to paleo as much as possible. I've also learned that cheat meals once in a while are not a bad thing! So it's day 1 not a bad day but not an overall great day. Last two days before the kids have summer vacation, and last minute mandatory meeting on the other side of town. So slightly stressful but nothing unmanageable. I had cheesecake though and it was delicious! The cheesecake was for a teacher who is leaving to pursue a different career, and explaining to everyone why I eat the way I do is a bit hard even though we are all science teachers so one last hurrah isn't bad. I did make it to the gym today even after everything else, and managed to do 3 miles in a little over 30 minutes! To me this is a huge accomplishment since I usually can only manage 2 miles.
  3. So for this challenge I have decided to step out of my comfort zone and go with a different guild. Until now I had been in the adventurers but now feel brave enough to try something new . Main Quest! My main quest during this 6 weeks challenge to try to shape my body now that I have lost weight. I went from 245lbs beginning of the last challenge I did to 227lbs by the end of of that challenge. Now I weigh between 185-195. Goal 1: Clean up my diet again! I don’t eat paleo as much as I use to and need to go back to that, but also find a happy balance with friends and family. My goal is to eat paleo/primal 6 out of 7 days for the week. I need to test out the calorie consumption before I can really determine this. A: 6/6 days B: ⅚ days C: 4/6 days D: 3/6 days F: 2/6 days Goal 2: Hit the gym, and strength train! In December I signed back up for the gym, and have been going pretty often even with the craziness that is work! My goal though is to go 3 times a week for at least an hour. A: 3 times and 1 hr B: 3 times but less than 1 hour C: 2 times D: 1 time F: 0 times Goal 3: More cardio! With how much I move around in a day I have cut back on my cardio but with summer coming up I won’t be as active. My goals is to do some form of cardio on my off days from strength training 3 days of cardio working up to an hour by the end! A: 3 times+25 minutes B: 3 times less than 20 minutes C: 2 times D: 1 time F: 0 times Life Quest! Communicate to improve my current relationship! So last challenge I was engaged things happened, and communication never occurred so that relationship ended. I plan to improve my communication skills by getting out and talking especially since I will be traveling this summer! Fitness Side Quest?! I still cannot do a proper push-up to save my life! I’m slowly but surely getting there and would like to complete one by the end of this challenge! Motivation: I consider my motivation to be simple make myself happy and healthy! Image coming soon!   4. Thank you. I just hope that will be the case it's driving me insane. That's crazy I didn't know it could take that long. I really enjoy strength training so I may do more of that . Thank you! Ya I want to avoid surgery I was just hoping for something to help. The loose skin makes me feel awkward. I will continue. Thank you both again!
  5. So I know it's been a while since I've been on here and really posted anything but in the last almost 9 months a lot has happened. From the time I started my last 6 weeks challenge till now I've lost almost 60lbs, but with this weight loss has also come loose skin. Is there anything I can do to tighten this skin? Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!
  6. My main quest was to be able to fit in to a size 14 I'm almost there but not quite. I think my goal was a little overzealous but still I think my results are awesome. The past week has been way crazier than I thought it could be. Monday I helped pull weeds and couldn't properly sit down for the next three days. Then trying to get the students to where they should be, and dealing with their personalities has been an adventure. Friday was just a horrible day and I had mexican food and a margarita to destress. I haven't really been able to sleep much and when I do sleep I have nightmares about the metric system and being crushed by papers. I think the next challenge I may skip or figure out a way for everything to be more manageable. Last Week: BBWW-0 F Other exercise-7 A Paleo and log what I eat. C mainly because I didn't eat paleo for the whole week like I had planned. Life goal Organize- A I got way more in order than before. Overall for this challenge: I'm still debating how to rate myself for this challenge for one main reason. I lost almost 20 lbs, but I feel like my goals were only 50/50 so it's hard to figure out my exact grade. Starting/ Ending Height: 5' 11" Weight: 245 lbs/227 lbs Bust:42.5 in/40.5 Hips: 49.5 in/43.5 Waist: 36 in/32.5 Waist at belly button: 42.5 in/39 Left Arm: 16.5in/13.5 Right Arm: 15.5 in/14.5 Left upper thigh: 30.5in/ 27 Right upper thigh:29.5 in/26.5 Left Calf: 19.5 in/18 Right Calf: 19 in/17.5 I went from a size 20 pant to my old size 16 pants that I haven't been able to wear since high school. Overall since the beginning I went some about a size 22 to a 16 now. I'm proud of myself for being able to come as far as I've come. I look at this challenge overall and I was bigger than I thought I started at a bit above a size 18 and managed to get to a loose 16 it's awesome but frustrating because now almost nothing fits. I'm still working on burning off the last bit of my belly. I want to continue this progress, and eventually get down to a 12. I think overall for this last challenge my grade would be a B. Overall Break down BBWW-C kept this up for the most part till the end Other exercise-A Logging Food and staying paleo- B- Life goal- B almost everything is where it should be and how it should be.

  9. So this has been a busy week. I've pretty much been scurrying to get everything together for the class I have, and I've been super sore since I haven't been wearing shoes while standing and working and now I have to (chemistry class). This week even though it has been rough I feel like it's been successful for a few different reasons 1) I'm finding my stride as a teacher, and 2) I'm learning what it takes to be a better teacher everyday. I've eaten paleo for 80% of this week up until friday/saturday. I'm still tracking everything though on MFP so I know exactly whats going in. So overall for this week Workout: 0 times my body was killing me for the first few days I worked F Food Log: Overall since I'm still tracking and know what I need to change A. Other workout: Definitely an A I'm running up and down stairs multiple times a day, and only sit for about 10 minutes. Life Goal: This is a tough one since I haven't had time to work on any of my other binders except for my chemistry one, and may have to get my biology one together by mid month! Since I'm still getting bits and pieces together this one is a D. In this last week of the challenge I will attempt to eat 100% paleo, and do my workout at least 2 times.

  11. I cleaned off my previously clean desk again since it suffered a relapse after my trip . The box won't move since it has various papers I need easily at hand, and of course my old coin bottle.
  12. So the past few days have been super busy and it's been hard to not panic at least a slight bit. Food hasn't been bad Friday was a lot better than Wednesday but still not great. Saturday turned into family eat whatever day which was nice. Today has been a pretty regular day minus feeling a bit slugish. Friday: Breakfast: Yam, egg, chorizo, coffee with almond millk Lunch: Jack links beef and cheese, cashews. Dinner: Ground beef with green chili, onion, and a sprinkle of cheese over salad. Snack: Banana chips. THis was a busy day and I was starving by the time I got home but it was too close to dinner to have a full meal so the banana chips were the best option at the time. Saturday: Buffet Pretty much had a lot of grain and my body isn't too happy about that today. Ran around like crazy trying to get things for tomorrow. Sunday: 2 eggs, 2 slices of turkey, coffee Lunch: 2 slices of turkey, and greek yogurt. Dinner: Chicken breast with mexican squash and green onion Snacks: orange, banana Not a bad day overall but my dairy intake is a bit higher than I want it to be so I will work on that, but this week should cure that issue a bit. Overall score for the week Workout: 2=B Food log=4 A Other workout: 5=A Life Goal: Last week since I forgot A since I finished my room. This week A as well got my chem binder setup which I will need for the next few weeks. Overall I may have an issue completing the next two binders since I'll be working. I did have to reclean my desk after I got back from my trip and will post that to the mini quest in a second. I may not be posting much for the final two weeks but I will try most of will is going towards a lot of other things and I'm starting to feel bogged down so I will see.
  13. Those sliders sound amazing! The places here sell disposable tanks so you don't need to worry about parts the bad part is that they tend to break easier if you knock them over, and the colored smoke sounds awesome too! I've had my weight rebound too usually when I don't have enough veggies or eat something I shouldn't like bread of some sort. Usually though a week later my weight goes back down, and it may happen to you too. Keep up the good work, and don't give up!

  15. I like the taste of cauliflower so not really. Adding a bit of the hot water the cauliflower was boiled in helped with more of a potato feeling as did adding salt and pepper I also put in onion flakes I love onion in my potatoes so it worked for me. Yesterday: Was kind of a stressful day. Had breakfast and then ran around for hours getting paperwork together for a job. Everything is good though but was pretty much a cheat day since I was going nuts, and gave in . Breakfast: Eggs with Chorizo coffee with almond milk Lunch: Missed Dinner: Whataburger. Had a soda too which isn't bad since I haven't had one since i got back home! Managed to do the BBWW I've broken it down into more circuits with less reps in each so it all adds up. Go through 2 circuits and then body went no more! Today was a better day though a little bit less stress. Breakfast: Omelet with 2 eggs, turkey and a slice of cheese. Also a banana Lunch: Pork rinds, and turkey. Dinner: pork steak, salad, california veggies. Snacks: raisins. Cleaned some more today and also got sunburned after hanging out with a friend and standing outside talking. My burn looks like I was wearing an odd superhero costume. I start my job tomorrow and I'm super excited but need to get to bed earlier from here on! Also need to figure out what to take for lunch.

  17. Hotdogs diced up, Fresh onion, grilled bell peppers, Lettuce, cheese if you wish (I skipped), and just about any dressing will work with it or mustard. Today: Been prepping stuff for school next week. I'm going to be a long term sub so I'm excited I have about 3 more lesson plans to do and one more binder to set up, and some material to review. Breakfast: 2 egg omelet with a slice of turkey. Lunch: Pork Rinds, Cauliflower "mashed" potato, slice of turkey Dinner: Salad with tomato dressing, tilapia, and squash. Snacks: Banana Overall not too bad just damn pork rinds back in the house. I really loved the fake mashed potato I made and can't really tell the difference from the real thing hopefully tomorrow I will get my id and access to everything online so I can do daily duties. Just so much to do and sooooo little time!

  20. Yesterday: Snack: Banana Dinner: hotdog salad. Yes, sounds weird but was oddly delicious. BBWW almost made it 2 circuits then my body gave out doing a plank. Not much I can fix here minus the huge amount of salt and other things in hotdogs. Today is an early start and will see whether or not I have to report today or not! Body is fighting a bit but not much
  21. Ya even though I ended early I'm going back to it today. Overall I noticed my allergies are horrible from eating grains and legumes. Same here I first heard of paleo while I was in Ecology lab, and I agree about the grain thing supposedly healthy but truly not! It's been a long few days. Had another phone interview on Friday and I'm waiting on a call from HR to get a little more information so I expect things to get really busy in the next few days which may cause me to post only every other day. Friday Went to the store and wandered around the mall for a bit, and played in the arcade there. After we got home I did the dishes and cleaned up. Breakfast: Skipped due to phone interview Lunch: Salad from walmart chicken cesar no croutons. Dinner: Burgers will shrimp and mozzarella (no bread on mine) Saturday: Went and checked out the open mall in Denver and walked more than half of it. I ended up getting sick after dinner and lost everything in my stomach it wasn't fun, but it happens. What figures more is that I had to leave the next day. Breakfast: Went out to buffet mainly had protein and one biscuit and gravy. Dinner: Pizza Sunday: Left to return home. Got to the airport a little before 1pm and was suppose to be home before 11p. Due to delays from weather my flight didn't arrive in the final location till 2a it was epically horrible. Since my stomach was still a little upset I didn't eat till lunch and then had some pretzels on the flight. Lunch: Burrito with beef, beans, cheese, lettuce, tomato, salsa, guacamole. snack: mini pretzels Weekly: WOrkout: 2 times B Diet: I'll give myself an A since yesterday was out of my control and I have everything written down on my phone. Extra exercise: 3 times A Overall not too bad of a week just horribly hectic and probably won't calm down for a long time. Today so far: Been organizing for school to start. So haven't really had time to rest still waiting for more information on my job. Breakfast: 3 eggs, chorizo, coffee, almond milk.

  23. I've had that happen too glad it's not something super odd. Thank you trying but giving myself these few days to splurge a bit since I'm with my boyfriend. Thank you and ya it is. So yesterday I left for Colorado for a few days and things have gone nuts. I pretty much had to do all my interviews over the phone but fingers crossed I finally get something! Anyway I'm giving myself some room to splurge since I'm with my boyfriend and this is one of the few times I'll get to see him for a while. Surprisingly my stomach isn't killing me as much as I thought it would, but definitely want to go back to mostly paleo! My allergies have been killer since the first piece of bread I ate when I got here. So tomorrow I'm going back to 50% paleo so my system will go back to semi normal. Yesterday Didn't get much of a workout in just whatever it took to run around the airport to get from points a to b. As for food. Breakfast: Eggs, left over turkey burger, tomato. Lunch: Jack in the box sourdough (Yum!) Dinner: Pizza, mozzarella sticks, and hot wings then some drinks. I know most of it I won't eat again for a long time so I really don't feel bad because this is a rare occasion. I know I can wipe out the grains for sure just feel shitty after eating them. Today has been a slightly better day went shopping for stuffs for tomorrow. Did a bit of the bbww but had to cut my workout short. Breakfast and lunch: Left overs breakfast and lunch occured together since I lost track of time and we watched Hercules. Dinner: Brats that are jalapeno cheddar. Overall not horrible but not great still this is a rare occasion so doesn't matter much right now I just want to enjoy time with my boyfriend.
  24. It's been an interesting day to say the least. I got a call this morning if I could interview to teach, and since I have to go out of town tomorrow I asked if I could go in Monday. No luck though and I had to go today in the afternoon and make two lessons in under 6 hours . Oddly though I got a call saying everything was canceled which I guess was a blessing in a way since I was freaking out. On the bright side I put on my old work clothes and they were super loose and my belt was on the closest notch almost! Then when I changed into my street clothes after the cancellation I put on my old tight shorts and they fit perfectly it was awesome!!! I did to the BBWW with jumping jacks included I've finally built up enough to do them again. As far as a food it's been simple day. Breakfast: 2 eggs, slice of turkey, sprinkle of cheese, and marinara. 2 cups of coffee one with a splash of soy since I grabbed the wrong container. Lunch: Skipped because I was freaking out about my interview! Dinner: 2 turkey burgers, a little bit of left over chicken, and salad with a tsp of Cesar and marinara. Snacks: an Orange when I realized I hadn't eaten since way earlier. There's not much I could change here except not maybe not skipping a meal. Tomorrow I leave again for a last minute thing and may get to see more people than I thought since one of my great aunts lives in Colorado. I'm going to stick paleo as much as I can but I will splurge once or twice since I won't see my boyfriend again for awhile. Hopefully when I get back I will have some sort of job! I got my room cleaned and just need to do my binders now and asap!!!
  25. Sounds like things are going well. Change will take time. Also Merlin is horribly addicting when I start watching it's a battle to turn off netflix!
