    08 Dec 2018 - I finally go to the gym for some strength training. 1km warmup on rower - 4:00 3x10 lat pulldowns - cable machine 3x10 barbell bench - 135 lbs - greasing the groove 3x10 tricep pull downs - cable machine 3x10 chest flys - cable machine hip / leg mobility routing including deep goblet squat holds for 30 sec. 09 Dec 2018 - I am trying to make Sunday a dedicated racquetball day, but I had to go back to TN to cleanup my parents house to help it sell. Listing went live Friday. Hoping for a fast sell...

    Welcome to my Battle Log! After completing 8 challenges, I have decided to switch to this format instead. History I have always been big, as long as I can remember I was always the biggest kid in class. When I was 14, I weighed 265 lbs. By the time I was 17 years old I weighed 335 lbs. I played football and wrestled in high school. I lifted weights and got very strong for my age. But when I went to college, I stopped playing sports and the muscle and strength slowly gave way to fat and laziness. In 2008, I stepped onto the scale and weighed 341 lbs. That is when my weight loss journey began... Over the course of the first year, I lost 100 lbs, ran my first 5k, 10k, and half marathon. I felt great, but my level of training was not sustainable. Over the next 4 years my weight went up and down, but trended upwards. I got married and we had our first child. In 2013, I weighed in at 282 lbs. I had gained back almost half of the weight I had worked so hard to lose... Nerd Fitness I was frustrated with my weight gain, so I looked online for some help. I found it in Nerd Fitness. It was awesome to find so many supportive like-minded folks. Nerd Fitness has helped keep me accountable. I am happy to report that over the past year with NF I have lost over 50 lbs and reached new lows with my weight! Goals I have been a bit of a fitness schizophrenic since starting my weight loss. I have done many running races (5k, 10k, 1/2 marathon, and full marathon), triathlons, MMA, Jiujitsu, Crossfit, and most recently strength training. I really do enjoy running, so I would like to get back to that but only the 5k distance. I also want to get stronger and lower my body fat percentage. My next goal milestones are.... 5k under 24 minutes Squat, Bench Press, Deadlift total above 1,000 lbs (edit: Achieved!) Body Fat less than 15% Current Stats Height - 6'4" Weight - 230 lbs Body Fat - 20% 5k PR - 24:30 (set 3 years ago) 26:50 earlier this year Big 3 Total - 875 lbs
