  1. Second day trail running. My lord I feel like some sort of dark ages scout when I'm trail running

  2. I certainly don't do enough of them, it's in Mandarin Chinese, strange as that may be.
  3. Hi everyone I'm the werebadger. This is my first challenge and I'm pretty stoked about it. My starting points Im 240lbs at 6'4" and run about 12-18miles a week on roads. (3-4 days a week of 3-5miles a day) I've cut fast food and soda out of my diet, but generally eat more than 4500 calories a day. I've been putting off getting my AA for over a year now, despite only needing to take one day long seminar and send in transcripts. Goals: Weigh 234lbs by the end of the challenge. I will do this by increasing one of my run days by half of a mile every week, and doing body weight exercises before I go on said runs. Eat 500 calories less per day. I'd like to cut down on sugar too but I'm not sure how much I eat daily so I'll have to get back to this when I find out. Get transcripts in, take seminar, get paperwork put in to finally receive my AA degree. This ones pretty self explanatory I'm a big mean machine ready to get to the front lines of the rebellion. Lets get 'em fellas.
  4. Hi everyone, I need a little advice with my running. Every other day I run between 3 and 5 miles and I have little issue for the most part, but I'm starting to get pains in my right shin, just when I'm running, not sure what it is or how to prevent it, Thanks for any advice guys!
  5. 4.5 mile run after two hours of sleep and two hours of testing and then off for a ten hour shift. Boss. But lord could I use some sleep

You don't deserve to be conscious right now!

I did something similar 2 days ago. (Finals, amirite?) You WILL have the best night of your life once you get to bed, man. Hope you have pleasant dreams - not even, you'll just knock out and it will be glorious rest.

  6. Thanks Rhyme! And the laser butt is more in the back burner than anything else, giving that up would be like giving up futurama or my left hand.
  7. Hi, I'm the werebadger, obviously new here I'm from Idaho, I'm mainly a tabletop and video game RPGs geek, but I've got good sprinkles of other brands of geek. Im here mainly to make it to the level of maintaining a strict workout and diet, I've been quit smoking for a month, I run 5 miles 3 times a week and my diet is okay, but that's all mainly due to being military. I want to hit the next stage and the people around me are content to stay where they are, so here I am. I look forward to my time here, seems like a hyper motivated (with a healthy dose of geek of course) group, and I'm crazy stoked to get started.
