  2. @Spezzy: Thanks. I was reading (stalking) your challenge log and looks like we both had burning lungs from cigarettes to overcome. I remember thinking the same thought of 'gee, I regret everything I ever did bad to my lungs right now'. But it's not really the lungs right now stopping me, it is much more the leg endurance. It's just a very high level of intensity and last week I was trying a ketagenic variation of paleo and I had no endurance. I am back on the fruits/nuts bandwagon and I think just going to be much happier. Also, Man makers (about to rename those to Plexicles)
  3. @Spezzy: You inspire me to get back to 2 workouts a day. Also, to find a gym that actually has bloody deadlifting equipment.
  4. Blood type doesn't matter I think. They are just happy to get the blood. I keep meaning to donate but I have had to wait (I think its 6 months after a new tattoo?). I think that time period is up in retrospect. So I guess I will join this challenge! *Hares off to find the nearest blood bank donor-y thingy.*
  5. Howdy ASynder and Welcome to the Rebellion. What distances do you consider a sprint for each event? Also, are you dressage, eventing, or show jumping?
  6. Howdy Dark and Welcome to the Rebellion! I like your "-Lose enough body fat to begin seeing my "abs". " goal as its very quantifiable. and one I can relate to. Also, insanely elusive (at least for me).
  7. 3/11 1) Hit quick friday workout. Mostly a repeat of the strength one with leaving out an exercise or two. 2) I read the updates page. No updates for a while so I will continue trying to powerlevel multiple skills to level 6. 3) Tried on friday. Got to about 3minutes in and was wiped. A ketagenic paleo style diet is NOT useful for this. Going back to regular paleo. (I miss fruiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit) 4) Nope. Weekend was a bust. Spent time either working or relaxing with friends morning after house parties. 5) See above.
  8. Oh goody, making me think. I did 45 pds a hand 22 times in ten minutes. Format was down, plank, push up, row, row, push up, then stand up with combined over head press(?) whatever, the both of them got above my head with arms straight. So at my bw of roughly 165, you would need .2727 (repeating) of your bw in each hand or a total of .5454 (repeating) to match. I have no idea what your bw is and Emily Post says its rude to guess, so yeah.
  9. Wins: Hit workouts for 4 days! Lots of pullups. Losses: Did not accomplish nearly as much as I wanted to re: Car.

  13. Go, go magic 8 ball! I imagine that stress on patrol has to be pretty hardcore. Have you given any thought to like quiet time meditation or something soothing to relax yourself and your body? Either way, keep it up!
  14. Go, go magic 8 ball! I really like your happy thought idea, although I feel if I tried to do this, I would become weepy and nostalgic. I must try coconut flour although I despise coconut flavor.

  16. Howdy tiny-oak, and welcome to the Rebellion! Squads for the 28 day challenges are aaaaammmaaaaazzzing. And by that, I mean, slightly nuts, but to me, both are the same thing. Looking back at that sentence, I am not sure if Shatner could have paused more. Either way, good night and good luck with this month's challenge!
  17. 3/10 1) Abs+core workout and cardio (so that's 3) No planche progression, but I feel I get a skip because I had to rush home to get my e-timecard in for work so I can have money! 2) Still waiting... 3) Waiting till friday for sub 6m (and glycerol levels in/near my legs/liver to go up) 4) I can actually handle bits of it online. Just have to schedule it now and clean out old car (boo) 5) Still a reprieve @freefitguy: Thanks, I am pushing hard for it. Managed to snake in a 75s 400m by maxing the treadmill (only goes to 5:00 mile pace ) but I hit the 400m time with no problem, and felt I could have pushed harder. (I want warm and a track)
  18. It's cold out. I refuse to actually do anything for time in anything less then the lightest shorts etc I can find and pretty much a beater. I am *not* doing this cold or wet. So until then, its still treadmill time... (next goal is 5:42 pace mile on the treadmill, I can sustain it so far for about 4:30)
  19. Howdy there Dea, and welcome to the Rebellion. Paleo+dairy is wiiiiiiiiiiiiiin. Period. Butter and heavy cream are the big things for me. Not so much on the cheese. Listen to Alethea's pitch! Come to the nerd side. We give plants water.

  21. 3/9 1) Hit a strength workout again (so that's 2..) Parkour terribleness tomorrow barring rain. If rain, abs+core plus planche progression 2) Not looking at this at the night time, need to find free time during the day if it happens. 3) Attempted sub 6min mile. Results Set pace for 5:42 mile got to about 4:30 before my form started to suffer and become bad. Stopped, walked for about 5 minutes. Tried again, got 3min into it, had to stop. Going to try again on friday. (Close, so close!) Suspect its because I am trying a keitosis style restrictions this week and I don't have the sugar load from fruit and nuts that I normally do. (Daily carb count (including fiber) is usually below 50 since monday) 4) Looking up ways to possibly handling some of it online. 5) Waiting on the spezzster, who has a reprieve till Friday?
  22. Almonds are bank, followed by a glass of water. Also, cashews are kind of buttery tasting, macadamia's more so.
  23. Can't. Dude wrestled for 15 years, went to states all 4 times in high school, was captain of high school wrestling 4 years, and got college on scholarship for wrestling. In addition, he's a (#*&% ninja. Trained last summer for an MMA match which didn't happen. He has no blindside.
