  2. Tournament was fun but didnt placed wlel with our team 8/9. But still got a recommendation from one of the top players after loosing to him. And especially on the last set i had to really fight the form. Might be close to my first roadblock here. Deadlifts went well but grip strength is starting to show. On the miniatures side: lost at a tournament 2 weeks ago and placed last. this weekend i will give it another shot with a team tournament in saarland.

  8. well you can definately play hoffman. i have him as well and rules have been out for quite a while. if you like i can check if he was in wave1 or wave2 of 2nd ed. The viks are played very often as well in our local group since they are one of the stronger crews. you can field any faction model with the viks afaik. same as for other masters
  9. just out of curiosity since i only came to the game at the end of wave2 beta: which crews were that? and the ppl i have to play with are pretty stable. they are like the malifaux ambassadors here in germany and have a pretty active henchman.
  10. Malifaux is "just" a skirmisher. so you usually got betwenn 5-9 models per side on the table. Most of the starter packs are pretty good, especially the new plastic ones. Usually you just need a starter pack and maybe 1-2 other miniatures for a thematic competitive list. The club where i play even has a special 2day event once a year where we will draft starter boxes. Basically you draft what starter box you get and then have a day and a night to build and paint your crew. on the second day is a tournament where you will play with your new crew. It is like a huge sleepover for adults ;p
  11. they never stopped supporting their minis. The new rules for were available in 2 waves and wave 3 is on the way. What they did do was stopping their metal miniatures and rereleasing in plastic. itÅ› a fun game and i really like the strategic aspect

  13. I have WH 40K eldar gathering dust... played a few games each edition since 2nd but after I turned to Malifaux i never looked back on WH40K Malifaux Iḿ pretty much focused on Ressurectionists with Seamus as my goto Master
  14. started "Skinwalker" still reading "Antifragile" and "Game Coding Complete" Have the next 2 books from the skinwalker series and th enext 3 from the foreigner series lying next to my bed, as well as art of learning and postgresql - up and running

  18. The second one looks very similar to the one i have for my home gym. I like it so far but didnt go real heavy on it yet sicne i'm jsut starting out
  19. I am affliced by the deadly mancold. So abandon all hope ye who enter this thread. Started out as a little coughing this morning but progressed to full on headaches, bodyaches and constricted chest. Still hoping for it to go away since i was supposed to play in a tabletop tournament tomorrow. Dont know if i'll gather my strength for lifting later on as well. probably head to bed for a nap first...
  20. I lost my Nexus 5 between christmas and new years. Currently on a cheap huawei Ascend Y530. It's a bit slow and the glass isnt the best quality, but ti does everything i need it to. Oh and the camera is crap. But i love the normal sized SIM, battery life and the option of putting a micro sd card in it.
  21. I'm back from an awesome trip to belgium. 4 days of nerdfest. First the Free and OpenSource Developers European Meeting in Brussels and then ConfigurationManagement Camp in Ghent Missed a workout due to that but just finished my first one for this week Squats: 5x5@20kg Bench Press: 5x5@17,5kg Barbell Row: 5x5@27,5kg
