  1. Wigunowner

    Reset time

I have been back sliding since before thanksgiving and am in desperate need of a reset. For this challenge I have decided to work on the following: 1. No eating out alone. Only for dates and other social engagements. 2. No alcohol or soda. 3. Add walking 2x per week for at least 30 minutes to the 2x per week Crossfit classes I have been able to keep up with.
  2. Hope everyone is doing well! Overall I would say things are progressing well over here. I completed my Bodyweight workouts so the only thing I fell short on was the walking. Only made 2.5 miles this week. I will need to make more time for this in the coming weeks.
  3. The only book I've read on that list is The Passage by Justin Cronin and it is one of the best books I've ever read.
  4. Just reserved the audiobook from the library, sounds interesting. Right now I'm reading Emergency by Neil Strauss. Very good.
  5. I live in Waukesha if you are from Milwaukee that should sound familiar. My plan is to be in the best shape of my adult life by the time my divorce is finalized. I figure I have about a year or so. I am more motivated now than I've ever been.
  6. Hi everyone I'm Jake. I'm a 32 year old truck driver from Wisconsin. I am home every night, but still work a lot of 12 and 14 hour shifts. Also I am going through a divorce which is adding stress to my life. I am a huge Star Wars fan with the tattoos to prove it. I am very overweight at 5'9" and 302 lbs. although that is down from my highest at 331 lbs. My main goal is to reduce my body fat as it is currently very high at 42% according to the Navy's formula. I've recently taken up tae kwon do with my son, and have been walking and doing the beginners bodyweight workout as much as I can as well as watching what i eat. I am very excited about this challenge even with the small amount of weight I have lost I can already tell that I am moving, and feeling much better than I have in a long time. Plus someday I will need to date again so it is time to get back down to fighting weight.
  7. I am starting off a little better than where I have been before. I have been exercising and watching what I eat for a few weeks now, and I feel like I have found my groove. Right now I am 5'9" and 302.6lbs. My waist at belly button is 52.5" which puts my body fat percentage at 42% The highest I have ever been is about 331lbs. My goals for the 6 weeks are as follows: 1. Walk at least 6 miles per week. 2. Complete 3 circuits of the Beginners body weight workout 3 times per week. 3. Reduce my body fat percentage by 2% 4. Read 2 non-fiction books one of which shall be Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance the other is TBA that's all for now!
