  1. We're always here for you! And sending you good thoughts to get better! I'm with LW, eat Paleo as much as you can and if you find that the only thing you can eat is Cheerio's, go for it. Unless you find yourself eating nothing but cheerio's,

I love my dogs, I love my dogs.... heh, well I would if they could figure out that I sleep during the day when on night shifts and having to get up at 1 to let their sorry asses outside isn't helping my sleeping any. Pretty sure they figure since they sleep all night why should you sleep all day? The cats, the cats at least curl up and enjoy the sleep time during the day. I haven't taken the dogs out for the past two days but we've had close to 6 inchs of snow, so I've been shoveling lots of snow and I don't really trust drivers during the first major snow fall. I have been drinking all my water and while I had one laspe of purchasing food, the rest of the time I've been eating things in my house. And I realize I have a lot of unhealthy foods there and that I like quick foods when I come home from work. Two three bites and bed type meals. None of this cooking stuff. Ah well, I will look into making a meal plan and that way I will have left overs to handle that. I am also working on creating a to do list before my 30th birthday next October. It's a big mile stone, might as well make it count! So that's also on the to do list.

  5. You're not hating your bf, your just stressing and venting. Both are totally allowed.
  6. So that twnety minute nap last night, yeah it never happened. I just ran around like a zombie for the last four hours and I only managed about six hours today for sleep, which is alright but this girl needs so much more sleep. One good thing about last night is I went through 4 bottles of water, I did just go home and sleep instead of taking the dogs out for a walk. But when I woke up I did take them out so today is covered, I just need to go and find my water bottle because I'm behind in the liquid department.
  7. I actually don't mind straight water my problem is remembering to drink it when I'm at home. I do great with it at work. I don't know but I will probably add lime or lemon at some point. I know how to upload them on my phone, I'm still working on the internet part. Haha, now that you have a spiffy new internet connection. Have them up on FB? I can pop over there and look too.
  8. I'm sure you will do great, I have a couple of friends who are EMTs and I was a field medic for a couple of years, so I know a little of what you are getting into. Good luck on your first shift
  9. Haha, yeah sleep seems to be over rated. I never did get that power nap and Ive only slept for six hours today so another good night a head.
  10. What do you do for work? The gurney but has me curious! And I completely understand the 12 hour shift, those are what mine are and part of the reason I'm working on balance.
  11. I agree make sure you have that recharge time! It's vital when you have been with so many different people in your energy space!
  12. How has your work out plan gone? I need to sit down and figure out my android system so no helpful advice from me. Backyard boys sounds like you guys have a lot of fun and I think it's awesome you visit the seniors homes.
  13. Can you set a reminder in you phone? Would that help with the meditation?
  14. I'm with the others, don't hit burn out or if you have. Fund a balance, the big reason behind my challenge. I'm a queen of burn outs, and no matter how good the intention they aren't worth it!
  15. Are golf and tennis the same side of the elbow? I know I've strained muscles in my elbow but it was the wrong side to be tennis elbow so we made up the name karate elbow.
  16. You are making profess and that's what counts! And control a cat? Yeah definitely not possible but a closed door slows them down
  17. Get better! Completing a challenge while ill sucks and I agree 300lb gurney probably counts as a kettle bell lift! Nah, scratch the probably, I vote it does!!
  18. Your food lists are making me drool! I might have to demand a recipe to to and crock pot times. I have one but never manage to get the cooking time right
  19. I will grab some examples when I'm not on my phone Smoking and drinking are going to be challenging but I know you can best these habits!

  21. I wasn't a fan of lasagna usually Because I found to many layers of noddles but I quite like the zucchini lasagna and found it freezes quite well
  22. Rouge got it with the asking the right way, good endorphins and heroic stuff goes a long way. Asking isn't nagging, asking everyday or demanding is. Heh, I think I should stop here before I confudle things more...
  23. Haha, I think I'm jealous, I wish I lived close enough for day trips to other cities. So tired so I think a power nap before I read through more threads or update my own. I have people to spy on!
