  1. Looks like you're doing a solid job so far! If you like chicken don't worry about having to switch it out for another meat, instead just investigate different ways to prepare it, try different spices, all sorts of stuff like that. It can add enough diversity to save you from adding in other types of meat, if you don't really want to.
  2. Definitely looks like you've had a solid week, great job!
  3. Definitely looks like you had a very solid first week! Great work!
  4. Yeah, I'd go with soup, or y'know whatever your body can handle. Some chicken and vegetables, just make sure there's not too many spices or anything like that. There's a lot of foods that aren't usually true Paleo that keep showing up in "Paleo" recipes, because people consider it "Safe" or possibly just fail to realize it isn't Paleo. Things like rice or bacon fall into this arena, but then again very few people stick to 100% Paleo, a lot of folk have their own small exceptions.
  5. Accidents can and do happen, good to see you've recovered and it didn't affect anything too much. Just shows the importance of allowing looseness in your gameplans.
  6. Diet is 80-90% of fat loss goals. Exercise won't do much of anything if you're not focusing on your diet. You could always still change the focus of your challenge to including removing items from your diet or other functions of the diet.
  7. It was once a while ago, and I failed to measure it, but it actually worked out pretty well.
  8. Sounds like a decent challenge so far! Woot woot.
  9. Figuring out your body is an excellent step to getting where you want. So the fact that you're learning is the most important part.
  10. You should ask Teros about his motivation board.
  11. Firstly I'd like to welcome all the new folk to Rogue Squadron Recruits, got the first page updated with your challenge info! Paleo is all about eating real food..and then a bit more strict. But it's definitely a great idea to focus on cutting out on processed foods, there's just so much junk in them that tend to keep you overweight. Not just in calories but the way some of them act chemically (even "healthier" varieties...and don't get me started on so called "diet" soda).
  12. My soda plan work by replacement, although I didn't exactly start off with the best of options by switching to high-sugar drinks like Hawaiian Punch (there was a vending machine where I worked that had it in bottles) and Gatorade, although eventually I switched to Iced Tea, and then Non-sweetened Iced Tea, and now I'm primarily water.
  13. It's definitely worthwhile to make sure you take care of yourself, don't push yourself too hard, don't want to end up with an injury! Also... Finally I get to see someone that knows and uses the proper terminology for that! Huzzah!
  14. I've had times like that with things I've been trying to do, I used to be all "forget it" but more recently I've just been getting up and doing them... I think making sure I have my perfect days on HabitRPG has really helped with that.
  15. I know exactly where you're coming from with that...the whole selfish disregard for others and willingness to cause more problems and stress for others is a primary factor in someone no longer being a part of my wedding.
  16. That's the awesomeness of the form, is it's adaptable to your needs, you can add additional sheets, or change the sheets. In fact I've added a couple of sheets to my current budget form.
  17. It's honestly not really realistic for almost anyone time-wise...but that's what makes us rebels!
