  1. Week 2 Horrible! I woke up Thursday morning and I could barley walk on my foot. My mom who is a nurse looked at it Thursday night and said it was a sprained muscule. I spent all weekend nursing that foot back to health. I ate good all week, but when the weekend came I had 2 bbqs and football on Sunday, they all killed my eating. I am back at it today and hoping for a better week.
  2. Week one went well. I ate really good, I missed a few workouts and walks. On the plus side I spent more time with my family and I was able to sleep more.
  3. Doing well so far. I did eat good all day yesterday. I did miss my walk, only because I was so busy at work I didn't even take a lunch. I also went to bed before 10pm. Tonight is workout night!!!
  4. Hello Everyone! A little bit about me: I am 28 years old, I work as an IT person for a local school district. I am 6â€2 and as of this morning 274 pounds. I have a Wife and two beautiful children. My son will be three in about a week and my daughter will be one in less than a week. I have been married for six years. Last October I went to the doctor because I was feeling tired all the time. I knew I was overweight, but I felt there was more to the tiredness than just that. They ran a bunch of test and found I had high blood pressure, low testosterone and I was insulin resistant. They put me on medicine to help with these issues. I then decided to lower the carbs I was eating to help my insulin resistance. This in turn made me lose about twenty pounds from October till late February. By then I had went from three hundred and twenty to just three hundred pounds. Then for a few weeks my weight didn't change. I got really frustrated and wondered why I had stopped losing weight. One of my co-workers had been doing Paleo and had talked to me about it. So I decided to try it! I began on March 18th, I am now doing a combo of Paleo/Keto and loving every minute of it. I have now decided to take it a step further and begin to exercise. Main Goal: Build Strength, Stamina, Endurance. Goals: 1. Do the NerdFtness Beginner Bodyweight workout three times a week. I hope to be able to complete 3 circuits but the end of the six weeks. A – Miss no workouts B – Miss 1-3 workouts C – Miss 4-6 workouts F – Miss more than 6 workouts 2. Walk everyday during lunch at work. A – Miss no walks B – Miss 1-3 walks C – Miss 4-6 walks F – Miss more than 6 walks 3. Eat Paleo/Keto 5-6 days a week. A – Miss more than one day. B – Miss two days C – Miss three days D – Miss four days F – Miss five days 4. Go to sleep at around 10pm every night. A – Miss more than one day. B – Miss two days C – Miss three days D – Miss four days F – Miss five days 5. Spend 30 minutes playing with my children A – Miss more than one day. B – Miss two days C – Miss three days D – Miss four days F – Miss five days Everyone Good Luck! I hope we can all help each other meet or exceed our goals.
  5. I went to the doctor yesterday to have a check up on the weight loss and how my medicine was working. I told the doctor that the medicine I am on had been making me feel kinda sick, and I hadn't been taking it for a week. He look at me and said well lets just take you off the medicine. You have lost weight and your blood pressure seems fine. He just wants me to keep an eye on my blood pressure and continue to loss weight. One more thing he said was that he wished all his patients that needed to loss weight would go after it like it did.
  6. Sorry I have been gone so much. It has been a rough week. My daughter has been sick and not sleep well and being cranky, which made it hard to post or do my workouts. Life happens, but I have been still eating good and going got a walk. She is feeling better so we are planning on working out tonight.
  7. I dont do the intake counting. I just eat good and only when I am hungry.
  8. Sorry I have been gone for a few days. I had a camping trip planned with friends and family. I did my best to eat paleo/keto all weekend. I did some hiking and some astronomy with everyone. It was a great weekend!
  9. Try drinking some chicken broth, it will help with the carb flu.

I did 2 full circuits today, but today was harder than monday. Walk everyday during lunch at work. Went on my walk at lunch Eat Paleo/Keto 5-6 days a week. I ate good again today. Go to sleep at a decent time every night. I have a really hard time with this because my home time during the workweek is limited. I went to bed around 10pm. Spend more time with my Family. Came home and ate dinner. Then we went outside and gave the dog and bath and played outside for a bit. Put the kids to bed, and then my wife and I did our workouts.
