This is my 1st challenge too. I love the pushup goal as I have the same one, except I'm hoping to hit 40 straight starting from 25.
The concise goals are awesome, but I would suggest stretching right after your strength training in order to really elongate your muscles. That is when they become most flexible.
I have been on a strength training regime for 6 months and stretch after every set I complete. I went from not being able to touch my toes at all to being able to easily throw all 3 sets of knuckles under my shoes. Remind you I am not flexible, just rigid in my stretching.
Flexibility rules and I give you props for valuing stretching.
Thanks for the tip! I'll try that

Hey everyone - is there anyone around that bikes/does body weight workout? I mountain bike (mostly) but I'd be willing to put some road miles on as well (need to get ready for when our office moves up the hill!)
If you use endomondo we can even both be out and tracking each other at the same time!
Have you found a buddy for this challenge?

2 days done for 5 minutes. This is a harder challenge than I thought it would be. Almost forgot last night so I've set a reminder on my phone.
Anyone have tips on how to 'think about nothing'?

Great goals Catelf!
How's the meditation going?

I'm adding one extra fitness challenge....
Swimming once a week. This one has been in the back of my mind for a long time, so time to make it happen!

Hope I'm not too late to get a buddy. I do circuit type training at home as well as cross fit classes and could use a push this week!

Here's to getting out of the complacency rut I'm in!
Goals:
1. Cross fit class 3 times a week
2. Up the number of push-ups I can do without stopping by 10 to 35
3. Orgaize and file the large box of random papers in my closet
4. Meditate for 5 minutes a day
5. Stretch for 10 minutes before bed
6. Swim once a week for 20 minutes
Adding one more since I can combine stretching and meditating into 1 forced 15 minute relaxation session
Dogbert's first (official) challenge

Alright week one update.... It's only Sunday morning but I'm going cycling for the day with a friend so I know I won't make any progress towards theses goals today.
The meditation was much harder than I thought it would be, but I still did it everyday. Set my phone to remind me so I won't forget.
Didn't make it out swimming or clean up my closet. Brought my swimsuit into work so it's at least in the same city as the gym I belong to that has a pool, and added a swim at lunch into my work calendar for next week.
Also only did cross fit twice.
Completed the angry birds workout with JonDixonYT. Having a hard time walking today!
Onto next week!
