  1. For some reason my lips are really dry today, too. Hoping the water consumption will help with that over the next few days. I'm currently on a train! As soon as I get off I'm going to go eat an entire horse or two. Once it settles, challenge time! And Game of Thrones episode 9 time!
  2. Doing well with the water today, but haven't gotten to yoga or splits stretches yet. I'm on the move again today so I had to pack up my stuff and get everything in order to leave. I will be in a comfortable place tonight so I can do it then, and I might even be able to con my friend into doing it with me FotB!
  3. Yeah we've all got days like that. You've still got time, and you're totally going to crush it.

  5. Yard work definitely counts as exercise! And remember to give your body rest periods... it needs them!

  7. Your hiking goal is super hardcore! I'm loving it! For meal planning, I suggest using something like, say, Pinterest to gather all your recipes that sound good to you in one place. That way, when it's time to plan next week's meals you can go to your board, scroll through all the yummy pictures, and find what looks good for you at that time!
  8. Planks are hard and use a TON of your muscles, so you SHOULD feel like you've been working out after them. And I promise, they get longer every session. I've found that really focusing on keeping myself breathing helps me stay planked longer. You're doing great!

  10. You are really crushing it! I am in awe. And another thing to keep in mind when you want to drink that soda, is that .... what the hell is in it? How is it zero calories and zero carbs? It's witchcraft I tell you, and not the good kind. Were you craving the cold carbonated feel? You could get carbonated water, get it ice cold, and then put a little fruit in it or something!
  11. Ok, did my pushups for the day. Three, with knees, but feet up! I focused on putting my arms where they should be (per several of the links that can now be found in my initial post) and tried not to worry that I couldn't do many. Meager but solid beginnings, I think!
  12. Crushed my water goal for the day and it's not even over yet. 72 ounces!
  13. Definitely. I've been reading them for ages now, and I remember trying to explain them to people who looked at what I was reading during work breaks and getting funny/disgusted looks. Now everyone's all up on it! Can't complain though, the nerd life is the cool life now!

  16. I'm thinkin' I might! I know shovelglove is gonna appear in one of my future challenges, so maybe I can make a themed set of goals for becoming a bad ass woodswoman! Also, snowshoes! That's something I want to do this winter!

  18. I am SUPER impressed by all the awesome work you've done already. I especially love that you did some mindful eating and can already say "did it, noticed I was full AND bored". Now your brain is going to WANT to make a different food choice next time!
  19. Totally. I'll try to start putting together a little prep kit to take with me on my Direwolf Expeditions once I get there and settled in. Also, can I just say that the idea of a lady chopping wood in the forest with a knife on her belt just sounds totally bad ass and I must become this lady?
