I hit my heaviest back in high school (189 pounds, with a cup size a nice full . Since then I have lost 51 pounds and I do not even fit an A cup... so sad
  3. Thankfully my Dojo teaches many martial arts, the Karate class is just the least popular so it is only one day a week. Per the adventures nothing to exciting on the horizon except a wedding in few weeks. ::goes to corner to sit and think about slaying trolls and meeting elves:: ::goes to TV starts up Lord the the Rings:: Nope, no club closure here. It is the same place I do Muay Thai. I think starting next week I just have to hit two classes whether it be Muay Thai or Karate Thanks for the support. I glad my carrot, er comics, keep bringing you back thanks glad to know I have readers. Hurdles yes... must not give in to the dark side.
  4. Well I am glad to hear I am not putting anyone to sleep So lets see where did I last leave off... oh right WEEK 1- DAY 6 & 7 PROGRESS REPORT: Who: Lazy bum.. er. I mean Chanee HOW: hmm... how should I put this This is how the week started Yep thats me as Bryan doing a sweet power move (just imagine I landed it, this picture makes it appear like I wiffed it) This is how Saturday and Sunday went Hold the applause... Sadly, I am on the receiving end of that K.O. Saturday morning it was raining, so no Ride-Bike-To-Work-Day, so I drove I worked my usual 10 hour day on Saturday, but then at 6PM (when I close up shop) I had a rush photography/retouch job come in. All said in down wrapped up work at 9:30PM. To late to work-out, went to hot tub instead. Sunday, had to go to parents to get last of rummage sale crap. Slept in till 8am (was very sore and tired) had green tea w/milk (weaning myself of coffee) and hubby and I drove an hour to my parents, borrowed dad's truck loaded up crap, drove hour back to our place unloaded. Let the dogs out, then ran back out the door to meet his mom for a Pla at the Black Hills Playhouse (another hour drive there and back). Watched play, awesome, drove home. We then went to dinner at Ruby Tuesday, got the salad bar with turkey minis (no bun, no mayo). It was 7pm by time I got home. I was exhausted! So did not do anything. So in short the only thing good I did all weekend was I ate healthy! Go me! I'll be honest though my piss poor example made me feel a bit defeated. Almost felt like giving up like I usually do. Too many failures in a row makes Chanee depressed. BK- ? L- ? S- ? D- ? Due to my depression I have blocked out what I ate all weekend. I do have visions of a salad bar, protein shakes, apples and yogurt. Exercise: hmmm... I did have to help carry my crap down stairs, which included a couch. So I guess I was not a complete sloth. JUST FOR FUN:
  5. WEEK 1- DAY 5 PROGRESS REPORT: Well so far this has been the most disappointing day. Due to no one wanting to go to class (stupid summer weather) it got canceled, which means no karate class this week. Thats right, my class is only once a week So thankfully friend friend asked me to go for walk. So that just means I need to practice my Kata some more today and tomorrow. Muay Thai class is a few more times a week so I think I will hit class up on Monday to make up for the lack of Karate. Also went grocery shopping last night. Bought lots of yummy stuff but since I did not get home until 9:40 PM so I could not partake in any items, that was hard. Really wanted an apple BK- coffee w/whole milk, 3 sausage link, 4 eggs and onion. All booked with butter L- Egg white protein shake, steamed green beans S- zilch D- Pork shoulder with steamed carrots and butter My reports are so boring. I really need to go on some sort of an adventure to spruce things up. I need like a cave troll fight or perhaps say I'm climbing Mt. Everest.... Just For Fun:

  7. Actually in my case yesterday everyone else came first. Everyone's amazing determination is what is helping fuel mine. So I want to be sure I can be as supportive as everyone else.   8. Sorry for the belatedness. I was behind on everything and felt I owed it to my followers to catch-up on their challenges first WEEK 1- DAY 4 PROGRESS REPORT: HOW: So today's I was to play softball and work on Kata. I played softball, sort of. Since I close up my work at 6pm and our first game that night was at 6:15 I was late to it causing me to not be on the roster so I warmed the bench until I could get subbed. Unfortunately we got our butts handed to us and the came was called because of the 15 run rule so I never played in the first game. So to make up for my lack of exercise my friend and I walked around the fields for 30 minutes. I again tried to practice my Kata with the help of Youtube. Got farther then the day before, but still to no avail many of my moves did just not feel right. All said on done our second game started early and since we were walking we were late to it ::smacks head:: This game I played the first half (Our team has WAY TOO many players, I normally would never get subbed). So Out of the shoots I go I am up to bat right? First swing is beautiful, the ball goes sailing to left center, I haul ass to first. As usual instead of running through I plan to hit the bag and as I turn towards second. Next thing I know I am skidding on the ground, which is full of small gravel (helps the field dry quickly after rain). Needless to say... you know when your bike tire hist gravel and you are trying to turn? That is what happened to me. First base was covered in S#!T so when my left foot hit it while I was turning my destiny was set. So of course everyone think I tripped and I am like NO the bag was dirty, Ump why you no clean bag? and he is like why do you run so fast? What an idiot! So In short I have my first battle scar of the challenge: Food wise I am still doing well have adhered to all my restrictions... BK- coffee w/whole milk, egg white protein shake w/milk L- Cheesy Brocoli, cauliflower and carrots with tuna mixed in S- almonds D- Carrots/sugar snap peas and peanut butter. and a brat no/bun at the game Exercise: 30 minute walk, 30 minutes softball and 10 minutes of kata JUST FOR FUN:

  11. OK so maybe I lied a bit...It wasn't anything super cool just an audio file of Ellen (well I think she is super cool LOL) saying what I wrote... I'm just bummed that everyone else seems to be able to embed files. Why can't I seem to figure it out ::sulks:: Per primal versus paleo, where I live and with my budget I am more of an advocate for primal. What you could do is do a two week test to see if one is better or not. I personally found I do better with milk products in my diet. Not a lot milk you... whole milk in my coffee, some cheese and greek yogurt Per your ankle if you have swelling hit up your local health food store and ask for "Arnica" it is amazing for inflammation. My whole family swears by it... oh and by it it pill form much easier to use.

Thanks, I'm about making jokes... especially when it involves an online diary where I posted pictures of myself in a swimsuit Per the calorie counting, after about a month a strict counting I was able to get a better handle of the amount of food I should consume versus my activity level each day. It really helped me trim down and tone up, the no eating after 8pm was the best though, which is why I added it to my own challenge. It allowed me to then do a full 12-15 fats each day since my breakfast usually happened between 8 and 11pm. good to know I am not the only one who enjoys them
  14. Hey Zuel Sorry for my late join instill learning how to keep up with all the post. Not used to this set-up but I will get there. I know... I have to but the 100 calories packs or I devours the contents of the package I am eating from does not matter the size. Just ask my husband I am a bottomless pit when it comes to food. I very rarely feel full. I usually have to tell my self I have eaten enough 75% of the time. Kudos on getting up early AND working out!! I just do the get up early and dink around on the internet while drinking coffee morning routine. I also saw ate a coconut... how does that work?

Though I wont' lie... they do make my feet like like roadkill LOL. Really need to find socks I can wear with them ::big hug:: Being healthy is not always about diet and exercise. Mental health is just as important. I think time spent with family is way better than any workout

  17. screw the people that say you need a real person for motivation... I personally find Naruto very motivating, he never gives up and always strives to better himself no matter what others think. I love working out to the show music as well and to be honest if you didn't have the theme here I would get bored and stop following... so in short keep the Bowie pictures coming!! I had a huge crush on David Bowie hehehe loved his outfits

I will cry if I do not see you as He-Man I have learned that my martial arts classes are enough of a work-out for me if I lift and do class I don't have enough energy for either. On the cooking side I just bought a book called Cave Wraps, came yesterday, it looks fantastic. You should check it on Amazon here. Will check back and tell you how the first recipe goes for hubby and I Keep up the good work and don't push too hard lest you not make it to the finish line because you forgot to pit stop and ran out of gas right at the checked flag.
  19. They are NOT sexy, look idiotic and are uncomfortable They are the bain of my existence... luckily I did not have to wear them last night. I told my Kru the were too small (big fat lie by the way) since I have not been to class since 2009. sneaky sneaky.
  20. WEEK 1- DAY 3 PROGRESS REPORT: Who: Chanee HOW: So I was 12 minutes away from completely rocking this day. Eat Paleo, check. Get outside (walked to hair appointment), check. Ride bike (worked on treadmill it was too cold in morning), check. Go to Muay Thai, check. That right I went. Totally bad form and couldn't remember anything, but I went. Practice kata, NO check. I TRIED to do my kata. I got three moves in and got stuck, so no big deal will just to a Youtube search... stupid internet was on the frits. Pretty sure the squirrels have chewed up my cable again. So continuing with game plan as set out on Day 2; practice during softball, but will be sure to look at kata at work before I go. BK- coffee w/whole milk, egg white protein powder shake and almonds L- Leftovers: cauliflower and pork shoulder S- Snap peas, carrots and peanut butter (1 cup left) D- More pork shoulder with the rest of my snack from earlier in the day PS; Need to but groceries on Saturday running out of food, will be making due tomorrow and Saturday. Exercise: 1 hour of Muay Thai class, 30 minute walk, 30 minute treadmill intervals and 3 minutes of kata LOL P.S.S So until Sunday I will be way behind on everyone's progress just not enough time in my schedule to play catch-up. Gotta love ten hours days. JUST FOR FUN:

Also, today went great.. look forward to posting the full update tomorrow. Can't wait to checking in on everyone else tomorrow morning as well, I'm sure everyone is doing great
  22. WEEK 1- DAY 2 PROGRESS REPORT: Who: Chanee HOW: Overall the day looks very similar if not exactly like day one, except I ate a different dinner. Still worked on setting up my garage sale and finished up the gardening/planting. Not much else to say except well got to busy to do my Kata... I know I suck. The plan is to take the 1-hour break between softball games to practice in front of my friend whiel we wait... ::girl scouts honor:: BK- coffee w/whole milk, egg white protein powder shake and an apple w/cinnamon L- carrots with peanut butter (two more cusp left) S- no snack... too busy and not hungry D- Roasted pork shoulder with LOTS of cauliflower and light buyer (could not stop eating it so yummy). Plus a salad with some cheese and ranch (Ranch dressing is my one cheat. I can only eat salads with ranch. it is a good quality one no sugars and full fat). Exercise: none.. but I lifted tons of heavy whiskey barrels and bags of dirt. JUST FOR FUN:

I am trying to learn to eat only when I'm hungry and not just eat a certain amount to eat it and I was perfectly satisfied all day, no hunger pains except at 8pm when my brain said it wanted to snack even though I literally just had dinner... stupid snaking habit. Since I knew how much I should be eating I didn't worry about being completely specify, but here is a full breakdown for you. but I guess I should do a bit of a better break down for you. Thanks for looking out for me though, back in the day I was terrible at eating enough when trying to lose weigh... I've learned my lesson on that one, those pounds come right back over night as soon as you eat normally. BK- coffee w/whole milk 1/2 c, egg white protein powder shake w/milk 1c. and an apple sm. (425) - milk/coffee- 75 cal -protien shake w/milk 270 cal (120 +150) -apple- 80 L- carrots 2 serving with 1 to-go cup of peanut butter (will soon be almond but I had a few cups left don't want to waste them I'm poor) ((310)) -carrots 60 -peanut butter 250 S- Whey protein shake w/milk (270) -protein shake w/milk 270 cal (120 +150) D- eggs, bacon and sm. onion cooked w/butter (that dinner was for you Mouse!) ((554)) - 3 eggs 210 - onion 60 - 4 pieces of bacon 184 (46 x4) - 1 TBS 100 TOTAL CALORIES: 1,559 it is also worth noting I am quite small... only 5'4"
  24. Thanks I was really proud yesterday about my self control and desire to achieve.I forgot to note, I did not snack after eight, that was probably the toughest part of the day. I really wanted a snack. My plan is to have a cup of tea whe ever that urge strikes, so hopefully in a few weeks that urge will be fine
