  1. So I guess this shall be the final summary of how I did at my goals, which would be miserable failure in all of them lol. I finally got the bike out of storage only to find out is has turned into a rusted piece of junk which I didn't trust my weight on =*( My back has been absolutely killing me which took out my other goals. I gained a bit of weight (not saying how much, neener ) and I never really did get into the squat thing. C'est la vie, new and improved goals for next time ;D
  2. You kicked butt regardless of the goals So glad you are liking the hiking
  3. We had flooding, forced evacuations etc, it was a fun week or so And my newly built ark sank, boohoo =*( Back to it tomorrow though
  4. Ack, hope you feel better soon =( Great decision to not push through the sickness though, that is just asking for troubles!
  5. So it appears my sore back might be an actual injury, whoops Rain finally let up enough to allow me to get my bike out of the shed My ark is half built in case the rain decides to continue and my newly minted leg exercises are being assisted by some back and wrist exercises, it appears I am trying to fix all my muscle weaknesses simultaneously rawr.
  6. If it is making you that anxious it definitely sounds like dropping it is the thing to do. That is the nice part of new goals, think of it as trying something and seeing if it does or doesn't work so when you hit the next challenge you can do something different! And exercises are so much easier if you say screw the form lol, but they are far more beneficial for you to do em right
  7. The rain continues so I am still unable to pry my bike out of the shed. I tried some new specific exercises to target the hurt ankle and possibly overdid it a little I was hoping with time my back would stop hurting but alas that doesn't seem to be happening, so I have some new exercises to try to attempt to get rid of said back pain! Here is hoping they work
  8. So week one in the books! Sadly my bike is still stuck in the shed till this stupid rain stops and the wood drys out enough to be able to open the door =( I am on day 3 without pop and my squats are going well It is sad how essentially standing up and sitting down 20 times leaves me drenched in sweat but at least I know it is working. Tomorrow I am resuming my daily walks as a stopgap measure for some kind of cardio exercise.
  9. So two days in, my bike is stuck in the shed until it stops raining I have done my squats once so far and am almost out of Coke at which point I won't buy any more, good start I think
  10. Hi fellow eq alum Love the goals and everything (and especially the mermaid quote, woo misandry!), we can do this!
  11. Hi Adventurer is where my journey shall begin, though my end goal shall be warrior! I've been focusing on my health since December. Some starting stats: (RL) Male, Age 36, Height 5'11", Weight 480ish. I'd like to get down to 200 or so (NFR): Level 1 Adventurer - Race is an orc troll crossbreed Strength (STR) - 7 Dexterity (DEX) - 1 Stamina (STA) - 1 Constitution (CON) - 1 Wisdom (WIS) - 4 Charisma (CHA) - 1 My goals: Fitness/Diet: 1. Lose 25 pounds (DEX+ 2 STA+1) 2. Modified squat every other day (STR +3) 3. No coke (CON +5) Level Up Life: 1. i want to bike to the pool three times a week at a distance of 5km each way. For my first life goal that would be too ambitious, but instead it shall be to set up my bike and get on it every day for a ride! Starting with just down the block, and finishing with 10 laps around the block by week 6 (STA+3, WIS+1)
