  1. You should definitely try some classes, I did and loved it. Not only is it an amazing work out, but I loved the strength I felt and the self-esteem as well. I was 2 tests away from my black belt (taekwondo) when I injured my back and never returned. I miss it every day, but my doctor will not release me to go back into martial arts. I also was a green belt in Hapkido and Ju-jitsu. Maybe if I ever suck it up and get the back surgery I need I will go back and finish my black belt, but for now I'm just trying to get healthy again.
  2. great info...I was wearing the wrong size for a long time, the cups were way too small. I was wearing a C when I am a DD, how I'm not sure now days. As or band, the store told me I need a 40, but then I have it on the tightest clasps and it still feels loose to me, so I buy a 38. From what I've read you want it tight and when it stretches out you can move it in, they last longer that way.
  3. Hi nf family. I'm finally starting to use the forum, even though I've been part of the community for about a year. I recently decided to go Paleo, to help heal my body and lose the weight I have gained. I feel it's the best choice for me because of my eating background and health issues. Is it normal to be feeling fatigued and having headaches 3 days in? It's not caffeine, I do not eat/drink anything caffeinated. I am however very sluggish today and sleepy. I just wanted to know if it was normal and if I will get over this hurdle in the next few days. Thanks!
  4. I am 3 days into Paleo. So far I've done well, I'm feeling a little sluggish, but that makes sense right? I've cut back on processed foods and they have to get out of my system if I am reading correctly. I've started making some meals from the Everyday Paleo cookbook I bought, they are pretty yummy. Eggs are definitely one of my foods of choice as well. I don't think you should limit egg intake from what I have read recently.
  5. Hey everyone, I'm Christina. New to the forums here, but been reading blogs for a couple months now. I'm currently living in Irving, TX and so far I love this website. I'm here to follow and encourage others as well as continue my journey to healthy.
