  1. Challenge Number one, so far so good.

  3. Ohh I love paintball, as do most of my friends. Our schedules don't always line up though, so we haven't played for a while. I am excited to play again at some point though. Community, whether online or personal is always helpful. I know my friends are the most supportive people in my life, and they make all the difference in me sticking with my program.
  4. Well I had to babysit for my cousins on Monday and Tuesday, so I didn't get to the gym, or play ultimate Frisbee like I usually do. Instead on Monday soccer had its first open field of the summer so I played soccer for two hours. Food was also more difficult as I only had access to their fridge and not mine. It meant no breakfast but I still had Veggies and Fruit each day. Keeping my liquid intake to water and milk hasn't been a problem, I love water. And I just made plans for the weekend with friends. So other than switching a day at the gym for a day of soccer, missing out on two breakfasts, and an accidental coffee. I have been maintaining my goals well. I see that you have been doing a fine job of it yourself as well, congrats.
  5. I have only played 1st edition D&D, D&D 3.5, and Pathfinder. I am really enjoying Pathfinder but it takes more pregame reading in my opinion to get ready to play. 3.5 however I fell just takes a little reading and your ready to jump in as a player.
  6. Thanks to both of you. While I do believe that this place will help me immensely, I have been a reader for a bit so I know it helps. I think that my friend group will also be very helpful.
  7. Thanks, When it comes to the gym goal, I chose 90 minutes because I get done at work at 5, and have nothing else to do most evenings, so my plan is Monday, Wednesday, Friday, in the gym. On Tuesday, and every other Thursday I play ultimate Frisbee with friends and professors at my university. and on the extra Thursdays I play a pathfinder game with my friends. I know pathfinder isn't anything with exercise, but friends are one of my level u my life goals so for me it fits. When it comes to saying no for me it is difficult, I love my friends and enjoy time with them, but I am an avid reader, and love a lot of T.V. shows. I am trying to focus on a life that is full of others though, and have made my friends aware of my goal, so that I can be held accountable.
  8. Well Hello there. My name is Seth Rue. I am a nerd. I am going to college for I.T. and Mathematics. I am 21 years old, 5'10" and severely over weight. I want to begin my walk towards a healthier lifestyle, and am using NF and a group of friends at home to make it happen. My main reason for this is because I already enjoy life as it is, but I miss out on a lot of the cool stuff that my friends do simply because I lack the ability to do it. So my thoughts are, think of all the wonderful adventures that are awaiting me out there that I can experience if only I take a little action. My task is not to lose a predetermined amount of weight, or fit into a certain size of clothes, though I think that will come. I simply wish to change my habits to ones that make me a healthier, happier person. I want to go on walks because nature is fun too look at. I want to cook food that is delicious and healthy. I want to ride a bike and feel the wind all around me. I want to be able to hang out with friends and finish the hike that we go on. I believe that I can Level up my life, and I hope that I can do it alongside of all of you.
  9. So My name is Seth, I am 5'10". I weigh around 400 lbs. I am 21 and am trying to become a healthier person. My goals do not reflect things such as weight loss, or improving my looks. My hope is to improve my lifestyle, and I have a group of friends who are helping me along the path. 1.) Eat three meals a day, including vegetables in two, and fruit in one. (CON 3) 2.) Workout in the gym three times a week. focusing on working out at least 90 minutes. Whether that is in the form of biking, weight reps, treadmill or elliptical.( STA 3) 3.) Cut out all liquids other than water and milk, With an allowance of two beers a week.(CON 3 Level Up Life goal: Commit to friendships. I won't turn down an opportunity to hang out with friends if invited, instead of staying at home by myself and reading or watching Netflix. (CHA 4 WIS 2) If anything is wrong or missing on this post please tell me so that I can fix it.
