  1. I'm already a few days late so I'll just give the quick concise version of my goals and come back later with a more detailed version and my grading.

    Main Goal lose 10 lbs

    Fitness Quest

Eat 2 healthy meals a day.

Walk for at least 20 minutes a day

Drink no more than 3 soda's a day.

    Side Life Quest

Write everyday. I love to write so I want to write everyday whether it's short stories, poetry, or just journaling I don't care, I just want to get in the habit of sitting down every day and writing.

  2. The ideal job for most of us is to get paid for doing something we love. So what do you love to do? How can you translate that into $$? And more importantly, what can you do in your current job to improve yourself or your opportunities? What do you spend your 'spare' tone on now? Is that moving you in a direction you want to go? Yes there are career counseling services , but they are going to be asking the same kinds of questions that you can ask yourself. sent from my Galaxy Note 10.1

thanks, one thing I've been considering getting into is real estate. It just seems like it would be something I'd like.

  3. Daily reminders I'll be reading to myself every morning throughout 2014.

I'll add to the list as needed.

Start letting people that doesn't deserve to be apart of my life go.

Doing it in a tasteful, loving manner.

Start seeking out positive people with good moral value, dreams, and goals that will uplift , and encourage me.

Stop letting the little things bother me.

Stop playing victim, and feeling sorry for myself. Stand up lace the boots and get to war.

Make God first. Knowing that He is the only one I can truly depend on and trust, and remember His word holds true even when things don't feel like it.

Start some type of career training, while working any job I can get.

Save money so my family and I can relocate somewhere away from here.

Leave my past where it belongs, in the past.

    Forgive but don't ever forget.

Remember and honor the ones that have passed.

Look ahead keep moving forward, and look back just long enough to remember lessons learned so to not make the same mistakes again.

  5. I'm tired of dead end jobs that pays little and takes me nowhere. It's past time for me to start thinking of a career. I'll be 31 on the 16th of January, I feel like I've completely squandered my youth, and I hope its not to late for me to make a change.

I guess why I'm posting here is because I don't even know where to start. I have no idea what I even want to do, at least not realistically. I know I don't want anything that's going to take 2 to 4 years to earn a degree being I'm married with children and just don't have the time or resources, and I'm just hoping that some of my fellow nerds might be able to point me in the right direction.

I really don't even know where to start.

So I'm just wondering, is there maybe some kind of "career planners" out there that I may be able to contact? Or anything like that? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  6. The winter blues is common, but don't fret. It'll be long warm days before you even know it. I myself try not to worry so much about it, because it seems the older U get the faster the years fly by, and I've lost so many people like my grandmother back in May.

I guess what I'm getting at is just be grateful for what you have. Yea I know it's cliché and easier said than done, and it's actually something I'm struggling with also being I've fought bouts of depression ny whole life. If you need somebody to talk to don't hesitate to send me a message.

  7. I may have failed this challenge, but at least I finished unlike last time I tried. Think I'm going to emerge myself into some good books and some graphic novels to get me through the holidays, and maybe even write a little bit also.

  8. I'm down. I'm by no means a professional artist. But I've been drawing since I could "pick up a crayon" (in the words of my mom) and have been told that my stuff is good by people with no reason to have ulterior motives. And I fucking love drawing. So what is this graphic novel about?

Awesome! I'll send you a message in a little bit when I'm off work. Do you have any drawings I can see?

  9. I feel that I could've done so much better this challenge, but I guess the good thing is I walked through it and didn't give up and I'm about to see it's completion. Next challenge I will be better prepare and I'm going to make leaps and bounds. In fact I'm going to leap buildings in a single bound.
