  1. I'm looking for some good novels or author's that are humorous. Something that'll lighten up my mood and make me laugh. Sometimes I need a break from the emotional heart grabbing novels, or the suspense thrillers that I normally read, so if anyone knows of any please leave me a reply.
  2. Just get back on it. We all fall off some times. You've been doing great.
  3. I just sautéed some spinach and onions, and chopped up chicken from last night, and it was amazing. One of my favorite fast dishes now.
  4. I love spinach. Never had it sautéed, I'm going try it.
  5. Mine is The Art of Racing in the Rain. That book is so touching and amazing. Seeing the lives of the family through the eyes of Enzo their dog, and nobody ever truly knowing how smart, loving, and understanding Enzo is. How he wants to tell Denny about his wife's tumor, how bad He wants to be human, how he is human on the inside. I could go on and on but don't wanna give to much away. Amazing, touching novel.ðŸ‘
  6. I know how you feel. I don't like the taste of water either. I'm going to try the fruit in water.
  7. Sounds really good. Gonna have to try it.
  8. Thanks, I can't say I've been doing great, but I can say I've been doing much better.
  9. Believe me, I know the struggle all to well. And wish you the best of luck.
  10. I've been doing pretty well. I actually havent drank at all this week and don't plan on drinking this weekend unless its like maybe 3 beers.
  11. Been doing good today on diet and exercise, although I over done it just a bit at dinner. gotta make these next two and a half weeks count.
  12. Wow you are doing amazingly great! You are a ninja.
  13. Drank a protein shake this morning and then went for a hour long walk. Now if I can stay focused and eat a healthy lunch.
  14. Thanks for the encouragement guys. I'm dealing with so much in my life right now, but I'm going to finish this challenge. I tried one back in June and didn't make it past the second week. I'm going to finish the one even if its on a horrible grade.
  15. I'm doing terrible, but I'm not giving up. I'm going to keep pressing until I have a break through.
  16. Thanks for all the great nerd advice! I do not plan on having washboard abs or anything like that. As long as I'm not obese, generally healthy, and strong I'm satisfied.
  17. I know that drinking alcohol can affect muscle gains and weight loss, but I was wondering would it be less damaging to my muscle gains and fat loss if instead of drinking 7 beers or so I would start taking about 4 shots and maybe one mix drink instead? My wife and I like to kick back play cards and catch a good buzz and maybe have a bit of "physical time" if you know what I mean every Saturday.
  18. That's great...keep leveling up. You should be able to reach 40 if not close by the end of the 6 weeks.
  19. Today marks the beginning of the third week, and I'm going to stay focused. I'm going on 31 and not getting any younger. It's now or never. I'm throwing it all on the table, all bets in, gloves off. I will not set around feeling sorry for myself playing the victim, because I am the victor. I am the giant slayer, the demon hunter, and for now on I will face my demons head on with the weapons of knowledge (study), power (workouts), endurance (cardio) sword (eating healthy, and magic (will power) The Conqueror, Victory.
  20. I fell off the last couple days. Skipped yesterdays workout, been drinking the last two nights and waking up in the mornings feeling like sh*t. I plan on picking it back up today and making up for yesterdays workout.
  21. Thanks for the support, understanding, and wise advice. Yesterday I did do a body weight workout, went for a hour long walk, and played kick ball with my kids.
  22. I'm stranded at my house today, nowhere near a gym. I'm having so many struggles with this challenge. I have missed 2 Martial Arts classes in a row, I'm having problems with sticking to a decent diet do to being completely broke right now. Not to mention my physical ailments I've been having on top of my mental struggles ( I suffer with anxiety/depression) Also, I've still yet to buy the first Xmas gift for my children, we've just moved, we have hardly anything (we're having to pretty much start over).......feeling like a failure right now
