  1. Hey everyone. Ill definitely be letting everyone know how things go. Sorry I haven't been on here and more involved, work has been kicking my ass and Firefox, has been giving me problems for a few days. Ill update tomorrow or the next day the small gains I HAVE seen so far. Thanks for all the great advice and I am going to be sticking with the 3x5 mostly, with a little customization. I liked the Milk idea too haha. GOMAD. Talk to everyone later! Thanks so much for the all the replies once again. Glad to have such a good welcome to a site for once.
  2. Hi everybody. Sorry it took me so long to get back and answer some questions. Thanks for all of your responses so far. To clarify for GymratAnarchist I am 5 feet 10 inches, and I weigh 140. I might give your 2x10 3x a week exercise a try. To me it looks to be about what im thinking would be best for me. One of my biggest problems is finding the right kinds of food to eat during the day since I work about 9 to 10 hours a day, and rarely get time to sit down and eat something worthwhile. I will make sure to look into the book you recommended Aidanpryde I'm almost completely new to the idea of using weights of any kind but the body weight exercise hasn't given me much mass gain, which is largely what im looking for, and frankly I need something new and interesting again. And Crimson King I tried parkour once haha but I can never quite the rolling down. I did really enjoy the climbing and jumping but I couldn't land right and thus never got anywhere. Once again thank you all for your insight and I look forward to much more, Ill take any advice anyone here can offer me. Any inspiration as well. My motivation wanes some days. Barak
  3. Hi all! I'm new here, this being my first post. To start im Barak i'm 21 years old and i'm skinny. I weigh 140 at most times, im decently in shape, have good muscle tone and ive reached a point in my life where im either going to get into the shape I want to be or not be in shape at all. I am a huge fan of body weight exercise but im willing to branch out to whatever it takes. I have been trying to find a good diet plan for someone of my weight and activity, and a workout to match it. Most websites only go over the workout for someone wanting to lose weight. Ive seen a lot of info about 5x5 and honestly think I would love to try it out, but I see a lot of variation on the websites I find. If anyone here would be willing to share information on what has worked for them, what might work for me or just random ideas I would be greatly in your debt. I'm looking for any real diet information you have and any good workouts and more information on the 5x5 plan, or any other plans or circuits I haven't heard of. Thank you all in advance. Barak
