Because we're on nerd fitness, just make sure it's made with PB fit.

This is the most obvious thing I could think of for you... What about a Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy theme? Also, teenage mutant Ninja turtles. Not sure why, just popped into my head.

Had a darned good challenge. I lost 5 lbs what what? I tracked everything. I ate within my calorie limit, with the exception of #times I can count on one hand. I journaled.... ish. Meditated ish. Yeah, coulda done better on that. Otherwise awesome!!!

Hi there! I recommend checking out Nopo Run Club, if you like to drive and socialize. It's a casual atmosphere and a good place to meet prop!e.

Getting better at the whole low calorie thing. Just reached the end of a 1316 day, and I'm completely stuffed. How does that work? Bulk, my friends. Also: Shiratake noodles, apples, and pb fit. This is my life now. In other news: I lost another pound. Also, weird thing, and I almost don't want to type it out for fear of losing it: My running has improved! Despite the significant calorie deficit, my running has improved. Not especially faster, but just... better somehow. Love it! I hate dieting, but it's good to lose some weight.

I have one word: Burrito.

I had a really good week! Steadily losing weight, getting good sleep, averaging over 10 k steps per day. Diet's been remarkably good, but I did have a bit of a cheat day on Friday. BLT, beer, big tavern salad... I ate everything at the bar. Total calories were still 1874. Had a rest day yesterday as well, so went a little above allotted calories (although didn't break the bank)- 1650. Anyway, getting back to the right calorie level now.

I could use more "feel good" writing prompts, if you have any ideas.

Interesting. Yeah, i like the idea of embracing things out of my control. I'll have to think about that idea more.

Just writing to report back that I have been doing a good job following my goals! I have perfect attendance on my tracking goal. My journalling goal is also doing well-- I have been regularly journalling every night before bed. Also, meditating most days. I feel good! The one major deficiency is sleep. I have not been sleeping very well due to work stress. I did some research and have found some new strategies to help deal with it, but I'd like to really focus on trying to get at least 7 hours per night over week 3.

Just putting this here because I know some scouts love audio books and some love murakami. This is a good deal!

Tonight, I wrote on "make a list of things that make you happy," and realized the major themes were self-care and spending time with my family. Sort of eye-opening.
-
Not sure! Maybe try a few prompts and see if it works for you?

This is excellent advice. Thank you!!

Thanks for the ideas! This one is great.

Greetings from the Scouts Guild!! ALERT: Are you writing in a journal in general, or as part of your goals? I have started a new thread in the Accountabilibuddies just for you. If you are inclined to check it out, head right this way. Hope to see you there!

Why don't we just split the difference and call ourselves "neeks?"

I think you win the prize for most magical looking gifs. Good luck with your goals!

Bald-ay!! Welcome back, bro!

B to the G to the V, glad you're back!! I am excited for your dog mile goal. That seems awesome!

I mainly started this thread because I have trouble writing in my journal. I wrote constantly in journals as a kid and a teen, but got busy being an adult and lost the habit. I could use some help getting started. Here are some prompts I found that might be interesting: Write about the Past Write a letter to your older self. Write about your childhood. Write about lost friendships. Write about your school life, your grades, what you wish you had done differently. Write about turning points in your life – what would be different now if you had made a different choice. Write about regrets you may have. Write about Yourself What frightens you? What brings you joy? What makes you sad? What worries you? Is there a pressing problem you need to work out? Write a letter to someone that upset you, but you aren't ready to confront in person. Write down the things you wished you had said to your parents, or other loved ones before they passed away. Write down confessions of your deep down secrets that you can't tell anyone. Write about the Future Where do you want to be 5, 10, or 15 years from now? What line of work do you plan on pursuing in the future? Write down how you can improve your life. Write about children you plan to have, and what you wish for them. Write letters to your future children and grandchildren that you can give to them when they are older. These letters will help them understand the type of person you were at their age. Write about places you wish to see, vacations you plan to have. Write about home improvements you would like to make. Make a bucket list. Write about the Present Write letters to friends and family members about things you can't say to them in person. Write letters to your boss or coworkers. Write about your friends, coworkers and family members, describing what they are like, what you like and dislike about each one, etc. Write about your job, pets, your home, etc. Write about your daily activities so you can look back and remember each moment. Add photos to your entries to make them more special.

Greetings from the Scout Guild. I know some of us have journaling as a goal right now. If you would like to get together and discuss prompts, hit me up over this way. Hope to see you there!

Hey! You're right, we seem to have the same goals. Good luck!
