  1. Thanks! This made me laugh. I agree that forgiveness is necessary. It's also my queue to find something else...
  2. Band exercises-- Sticking this here for future reference. There are a few other moves I'm doing, such as lunge crunch. Whammo. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  3. Work it, Syren!! Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  4. Currently trying to get motivated for an 18 miler. Already slept over an hour past my alarm. Trying to glean some inspiration from internet running celebrities that refuse to run in anything but ridiculously cute outfits. Is it working? Not sure. I am looking forward to listening to the bobiverse series for a few hours and eating candy. Not looking forward to the bathroom situation at the halfway point. I might need a better halfway point. 5. Using this one sometime!! Hahaha. Keep up the good work! Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  6. Totally righteous! Forgot my legwarmers tho. Gams got cold during the "floppy fish."
  7. I couldn't sleep, stopped trying, and indulged in the best release valve- running. Ran 5 easy miles and was still frustrated, fearful, and extremely tired, so I decided I needed a day off of work. Called in sick, which is a big deal for me. I have only taken one sick day, over a year ago. I'm no sick day slacker, I am an ultra-diligent worker, which is why I'm in this mess. I care too much about doing a good job. Checked my card of the day and it was "Lovers." It means what you think it means: Cats, obviously. In the context of the terrible time I'm having, I took it to be a card about self-care. But actually, it's about making a choice and reconciling the heart and the mind, finding my path, figuring out what I want. Also, it's about cats. Lay on the couch listening to Will Wheaton read Armada for the first half of the day. Finished the book and it really does suck as much as people say! But I'm in love with Will Wheaton, he can croon any old thing in my ear and I'd be happy. Did some easy band exercises. Then tried out a new bath house for a few hours, which was just the relaxation I needed. Went home, ate some good food, and yes yes Primeval Took A Nap!!! Bought some heavy duty melatonin. I generally try to avoid sleep drugs, but tonight I'm planning to knock myself out. Puppy will sleep in the crate. Hopefully I will get better sleep tonight and be able to properly seize the day tomorrow.
  8. Cool... tell me about it!
  9. Yesterday afternoon at work, was feeling tired and unable to concentrate, so I took a nap in my car. Got in bed at 10 pm, ahead of schedule, but puppy woke me up at 3:50 am and I've been awake ever since. I spent some time lying in bed being angry about work. My coworkers can be really disrespectful sometimes, and Monday was one of the hard days. Instead of just saying, I'm angry, and falling back to sleep, I felt so angry that my stomach cramped up and I just lay there in pain, filled with anger. Took some deep breaths and let go of the tension but I don't think the feeling will go away until I fix the issue at work or get a different job. Still have 2 hours before my alarm goes off. Will do a meditation and hopefully get a little more sleep. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  10. Wow! Weight loss, good going! Those look like excellent goals. Particularly impressed with your exercise schedule. Good luck!! Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  11. Got to bed by 10 pm last night and had a fairly good night's sleep, with the exception of the 40 minutes or so of my bf's puppy jumping around at 5 am. We've discussed this and its been a big problem before. However, my most recent message must have stuck because he got up finally and took her to the park. I was then able to snooze an extra hour. Thank god. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

  15. Ooooo going for intermediate! Fancy. Lemme know how you like it.
  16. Logic. Foresight. Maturity. These are basic qualities I would like to focus on this challenge. In line with these qualities, I would like to be in bed every night before 10:30 pm on weekdays, and 11 pm on weekends. Good sleep is queen! Also, I would like with stick to the marathon training schedule, continue tracking food on MFP, and keep up with trail running every week.
  17. HAHAHA! Oh god, so great. Thanks for posting.
  18. Ahh sorry! Schedule changes stink!
  19. FINAL REPORT Goal 1 Distance Run 25 miles per week - Ran 28.2 95.4/100 That is spitting distance from 100. Well, almost. Goal 2 Strength Yoga class: 1 per week - Not done 3/4 Pushups: 3 x per week - 1 7/12 Squats: 3 x per week - 2 8/12 Will be reducing strength next challenge to accommodate marathon mileage increases. Goal 3 Diet Track calories using MFP, 7 days per week 23/28 100 g protein per day 22/28 Next challenge, will work add on something about health food only (one cheat day/week). Goal 4 Meditation 10 minutes of meditation, at least 5 days per week - 3 14/20 I need a break from meditation goal. Dumping this goal next challenge. My only goal this week is to run all of my training runs. It is 110 F out today and the forecast is hot for the entire week, so I've been running in the morning instead of the evening. This severely limits the distance I can run. Really, 5 miles is the maximum, or I'm late for work. Also, I am not a morning person, so this situation is pretty miserable for me. Looking forward to cooler weather, hopefully arriving in a week or two, and sleeping in. Eventually.
