Thanks for the support! On the job level; at the moment I've applied for a few, however I am going on holiday for two weeks, so the focus on that will have to be maintained more when I come back. c;

I think about how it will affect me if I do or do not go ahead with the obstacle. If I see candy, I think about how close I am to my desired body fat/weight, and think about how well I have done so far. If I'm exercising, I think about how "every squat counts" if I'm going to continue, I need to do more than I previously have done to become a better me. A lot of what is wrote in the NerdFitness blog helps motivate me, but I rely on myself, even though others do try to give me support. (Having others compliment you on your changes really helps too!)

I'll try and get in as much as possible before Sunday!

It's been going great actually, I attempted to do the "Lord of Dance" pose today, and can do to it with both legs pretty efficiently for the time period now! I'm also at around 22% body fat now, as I managed to lose at least one inch around the stomach in the past week. I'm on the way to getting a job, and I've only been having around one piece of bread or non-paleo piece of food a week at the moment, and there are still a few weeks left. C;

Thanks! c: -
Well, as I said, I've been doing yoga every day, working out usually every other day, and have generally changed myself to a better lifestyle/eating habits, I have been improving my eating habits constantly for the past year, and it's at the point where I am eating healthier than I have ever before! Thanks. c:

Hi there! I'm Emma, or EmJeko (as my online friends know me by.) I've been trying on and off to lose weight since I was around 13, I was always a slightly overweight child, having asthma, and being brought up as a nerd living off takeaways and junk food when I stayed with my dad every weekend. I managed to lose two stone in two months, and due to my age, I looked miraculously better than I had, however this soon came back to me when I decided to keep eating crap, and lost my focus on exercising after I left school. From the start of 2013, I decided this was the year I wanted to get in shape, I began to ease myself off the sodas and takeaways, now generally having one or two takeaways at most a month (a number I would like to cut-down even more!) I've lost 1 stone in the past month, and currently have around 24% body fat, which my ultimate goal is to cut down to 20%, for now focussing at 22/23% in the next month, through daily exercise, and healthier eating. (Switching to the Paleo diet.) While I plan to cut down my weight, I also plan to try and eventually become good at climbing or parkour, starting by gathering my balance first through yoga, as I have a massive phobia of falling. Of course I'm also a massive gamer, while I do yoga every day, I also maintain an online relationship with my boyfriend who lives in Scotland (while I live in Northern Ireland), and help (As a "SuperAdmin") to manage a large online community for the game "GMOD". In my spare time other than this, I was recently studying interactive media, and am going on to study Games Development this year. TL;DR Hi, I'm a gamer who enjoys yoga!

Time to bring out the pedometer. I've already done around 2 miles today alone.

I'm EmJeko (Or Emma, if you like) I'm a little late going into this, but a week shouldn't put me back by much. c; My 4 goals go as follows; Fully be able to hold the "Lord of the Dance" pose, efficiently. (I can do it about half way at the moment, but I lose my balance, so it needs heavily worked on.)Be a full paleo. Go down to 21/22% body fat. (Currently I am around 24%)Gain a job! (Part-time or otherwise.)I think these seem like pretty reasonable goals. :3 I've been doing exercise on and off since I was around 13, I used to be rather overweight as a child, and one day got determined to shed my weight, losing 2 stone in around 2 months, unfortunately this piled on over the years pretty fast without me noticing, as I had a crappy diet, which was only getting worse. I recently have decided I want to take a serious approach to becoming more healthy, changing my diet over time (I now drink no sodas, and rarely eat fast-food, whereas I was doing this almost every day before!) I've lost one stone so far, but I still feel I have a long way to go before I reach my optimum happiness with my body, having recently came to a stand-still with my weight, (Once i lost just over a stone, I don't seem to be going down further..) I have now reached a higher level of determination, doing yoga every day, walking almost everywhere, doing weights, and eating a hell of a lot healthier than I have previously, while drinking plenty of water. (I have being doing these previously, but not to the high extent I have eventually came to.)
