  4. On Thursday and Friday, I walked 6 miles each day. I have the worst sunburn every right now, but I plan on doing some things tonight (i'm a nightowl exerciser). So i will update Plus: Food contract for our school got changed. New company is known for healthier and tastier food! Negative: I AM A LOBSTER D:
  5. Oh yes they do Very, very fatigued today, so I think this will be my rest day. I have to paint color theory crap for tomorrow anyways
  6. Crunches: 3 sets of 40 Walking: About 8.4 miles Daily Plus: My arms are sore from all the wall push-ups. This has never happened before Daily Negative: Bacon! Also, roomies came back during crunches and kinda took up the floor to paint, so I got cut off short For snacks, I usually eat things like raisins or granola bars and drink fruit smoothies or Naked juice
  7. 4-22-11 walked to target and back ( not sure what the exact distance was for this) 4-23-11 nothing.... i slept most the day. 4-24-11 Jumping Jacks: 1 set of 50 ( I was planning on doing at least 8 sets of 50, if not more...but Easter ended up being awful for me and emotionally draining...so I ended up moping around) 4-25-11 Wall-push-ups: 8 sets of 15 I'm trying to get my head back into the challenge. Hopefully, this week will shape up nicely and I'll be able to put down a lot more numbers, do more things and just have a good week. Also, it hopefully won't rain on my walking days Daily plus: Broke into my stash of Healthy snacks Daily negative: ... ate gummy-bears too...also didn't do too much exercise wise
  8. I'm still alive! I have been doing things (sans jumping jacks because of the balls of my feet being in pain), but I have to be honest...I didn't write down the numbers. I'm juts kinda off right now I do have numbers for today though walking: about 6.5 miles jumping-jacks: 6 sets of 50 wall-push-ups: 20 (went until failure) daily plus: picked my classes; ethics is waitlisted. daily negative: not too may healthy options today at the cafeteria

Haven't done anything yet today (the 17th), but I plan on doing something.
  10. mmmmm, sandwiches. I'll make my own, thanks. haha, I have the book that this is from (and read the articles every time they get posted on yahoo), so it's not so surprising for me. Though the book itself has some really surprising facts about everyday fast-foods and restaurants. It makes you never want to go out to eat again
  11. heehee, those made me giggle a lot I like our name. Go druid-y types!
  12. Hi guys! Faline: lol, Rainy days here are cold and gross Seabright: I will have to find a pair of pants that fits poorly then, haha. I think I donated everything that doesn't fit to charity before I went off to college. But by the second half of the challenge I should have a scale (cause I'll be at home) LynnyLee: Thanks! ___________ I didn't post yesterday because I got trapped in the laundry room! SO I didn't get a chance to do anything But today is a new day, so let's make up for yesterday 4/14/11: walking: 13500 steps (about 6 and a half miles) jumping-jacks: 3 sets of 70 crunches: 5 sets of 35 wall push-ups: 5 sets of 15 half-squats: 1 set of 20 daily plus: It's so nice out!! Also, I got my schedule figured out daily negative: Possibly having a Sinus infection. I can not breathe! Also, a poor squat count because of dizziness ___________ So, my schedule is figured out for the most part thanks to Charlotte (she's amazing). I just have to wait until I can register (April 21st). If everything goes to plan, my schedule will be like: MoWedFr 11-11:50: Art,Craft&Popular Object 12-12:50: Studies in Visual Culture 2-2:50: Introduction To Ethics TuTh 12:30-3:15: Jewelry Metals 1 ! 3:30-6:15: Object Drawing If these classes do not get filled up super quick, this is my fall semester! Which means, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I'll be in New Bedford from noon-ish until 6:30 at night... I don't mind it that much, cause I can sleep in...or get in early to work on projects.
  13. Today (4/12/11) jumping jacks: 2 sets of 70 crunches: 5 sets of 30 wall push-ups: 6 sets of 10 half-squats: 2 sets of 20 daily negative: It's raining, so I did not go out walking. daily plus: Ate more veggies than normal
  14. Today (4/11/11) Crunches: 3 sets of 30 Wall push-ups: 5 sets of 10 Half-squats: 2 sets of 15 Not much to say today... throat is hurting a lot. Allergies or illness... I'm hoping it's just allergies.
  15. Where I Am At Now: Fitness: Be able to do 3 sets of 50 wall-push ups I can do about 5 sets of 10 right now; kinda wobbly because I just started this. I will steadily increase the sets as the weeks go on. By the end of this, I hope to be able to move on to Step 2 of the push-up plan ArmyMBM wrote for me Fitness: Workout 6 times a week I usually work out 5 times a week, so this isn't to much of a stretch. However, I am hoping to do more than just one exercise per day (i.e. instead of just walking and calling it a day, also include jumping jacks, crunches, ect.). Also, I have to plan around my classes on Monday and Wednesday since I have class from noon to six Fitness: Be able to walk 9-10 miles with minimum knee pain I can walk 9 miles; It just hurts like hell by the end and I REALLY have to push myself. I plan on walking further distances to make 9 miles look easy Diet: Eat more fruits and vegetables... or at least fruits ALL THE FOOD HERE IS POISON! Okay, I'm exaggerating, but I often get sick after eating "fresh"* vegetables and fruits at my school...so this one is tricky * looks fresh, smells fresh....tastes mediocre Weight-loss: Weigh less than 160 lbs I don't know how much i weigh right now because I do now have a scale.... Level-up: Stay on the C.V.P.A. Dean's list! This one shouldn't be too hard, now that I've withdrawn from my Chemistry class. Just have to continue testing well, turning in projects on time and putting effort into them Level-up: Schedule everything around my jewelry & metal-smiting classes for Fall2011 without making it too tight I can pick classes April 21st. I have an appointment with my adviser, Charlotte, on Thursday (14th)
