  4. Hey gang! Haven't been posting as often as I would like. Working all these extra shifts is getting to me! I only have a month left of work until school begins again, I'm probably going to slow down taking all these extra shifts. I'm going to update my log on the google doc, I've been doing pretty well. I wore one of those step counter things and I get way over 15000 steps a day with all the work I'm doing. I need to find some time and motivation for strength training though. I haven't tried intermittent fasting, when I get back to school into a more stable routine I'll adopt the paleo diet and try out this fasting business.
  5. This blog is amazing!! I've ready so many of the posts in the last few days, thank you for the recommendation. My days are a blur with work etc. but I'm making better dining choices while at work and have been picking up shifts that are in housekeeping - added bonus of major cardio and lifting as well as more money! Bonus!
  6. Hey everyone! Sorry for the absence, work has been crazyness these past couple of days. I like the idea of the 3 votes a week as another great way to motivate people through positive reinforcement! I've been eating better these past couple of days than I did Tuesday, and getting lots of cardio in at work. I work at a resort and picked up some housekeeping shifts. Let me tell ya, housekeeping is a seriously physical job holy moley!!! I love the recipe sheet, I'll some later when I have some time .
  7. 8Tracks has some pretty good mixes. I just use it for the playlists, I don't know all the features that it has in terms of creating playlists etc. But it gives me variety!

  14. I agree that poundage doesn't really matter just fitness. I honestly haven't weight myself in a while, I'm really just guessing what I'm at. I'd rather see the inches comes off, feel the clothes fit looser, feel more energy, and see those muscles pop through the flab. I find that to be way more motivating than some number. Good luck!! And good job on your first work out!
  15. I have a horrible time with eating out too. It's just so easy when you go out with friends after a long day at work. The last thing you want to do is cook. And alcohol is just so much fun haha! Good luck! Rooting for you
