Dinsdag 1. No nothing 2. Meditation? 3. Lights at 10:12 Awake at 4:45 Snooze until past 6 Lots of dreams. 4. Election tomorrow. I know who I do not want to vote for. The problem is the other part. Kittens now 5 weeks and 3 days.

Maandag 1. No running 2. Meditation? 3. In bed at 9:50 Slept through until 4:45 Dozed until 6 Dreams. 4. Walked with the moonboot all day at work. It helped. I am without real transport for a while. I am using my brother's truck, while he is using mine. His radiator needs to be replaced, and I only do very short distances. I read an old paperback on the history of surgery yesterday. It was the most gruesome book I have ever read, and made me happy I am living in these times. Kittens. 5 Weeks and 2 days.

Not doing anything is also part of the journey. I have had many challenges where nothing happened.

Sondag 1. No running. 2. Meditation? 3. In bed at 9:50, Slept through until 4:30 Dozed a bit more Dreams. 4. Kayaking on the pond. My balance on the K1 kayak is almost sorted. I went around the pond six times without panic, and also did some balance drills and rowed backward. Visitors on Sunday. My brother organized me a moon boot. It will help with my ankle. Kittens now 5 weeks and 1 day old.

Saterdag 1. No running. But I was at the Parkrun. Vonk run with my brother and Fiela and I had a nice little walk in the veld. 2. Meditation? 3. In bed at 10:30 Slept through until 6 Good 4. My father was away. Spend two hours at the workshop reading. It was my first alone time in many months. Afternoon rugby. Saturday night movie was X-men 2. Kittens now 5 weeks old

Vrydag 1. No nothing 2. Meditation 3. In bed at 9:40 Slept until around 4 Dozed a little bit more. Dreams. Almost 4. I wonder why I bother. Kittens now 4 weeks and 6 days.

Donderdag 1. No nothing 2. Meditation 3. In bed at 10:22 Awake at 4:45 Not nearly enough 4. Tired. Kittens now 4 weeks and 5 days

Woensdag 1. No nothing. 2. Meditation? 3. Bed at 10:00 Awake at midnight Slept until 4:45. Not enough 4. Public holiday. We worked. Not because we have orders. Do you want one? Please. Try to explain that to the family. Kittens. 4 weeks and 4 days. The exploring phase have started.

Dinsdag 1. No running 2. Meditation? 3. Lights of at 10:48 slept until 4:45. Nightmares. Not nearly enough. 4. Dankie. Ek sal oorleef. "And then things got worse." Kitten 4 weeks and 3 days. This is the friendly one. The others hid behind the cupboard.

And I had to stop in a bad part of town, and my two bags containing my cargo and towing straps were stolen out of my car. Since my car hasn't been able to lock for the past 5 years it should be expected. Another thing that I need to work through. Kittens now 4 weeks and 2 days.

Sondag And for some reason my father decided Sunday is a good day that we can go and deliver some stuff. It was a lot of things, so my brother's truck also had a load, and then the truck started overheating. So 4 hours after leaving home we were back without having delivered anything, my Sunday morning is down the drain and everybody is upset. No rowing. At least I had a 3 hour afternoon sleep. Kittens. 4 weeks 1 day.

Saterdag 1. Went to the Parkrun and handed out tokens again. This ankle thing is not funny anymore 2. Meditation? 3. Lights at 11:48 Slept through until 6ish. 4. Saturday night movie was American Hustle. Great movie, but no like-able characters. Fiddled around at the workshop, watched rugby, ate a small pizza. Not running is affecting my brain. I need to do something, but I do not know what. Kittens is now 4 weeks old.

Vrydag 1. No running 2. Meditation? 3. In bed at 9:40 Lights at 10:08 Awake at 4:00 4. I spend all day on my feet. I have it wrapped in a bandage, and hope for the best. It is not enough. At least it does not hurt early in the morning. Kittens. Week 3 day 6.

Donderdag 1. No running. My ankle is worse 2. Meditation? 3. In bed at 9:30 Lights at 9:45 Slept through until 4:45 Almost 4. Why? Kittens. Week 3 day 5

Woensdag 1. Not running 2. Meditation? 3. In bed at 9:30 lights at 9:45 slept through until 4:45 Almost there 4. Rain during the night. Vonk even got onto my bed and snuggled next to me. Kittens is now 3 weeks and 4 days.

Dinsdag 1. No running, but I am good at the limping thing. 2. Meditation? 3. Bed at 11:00 Lights at 11:40 Awake around 4 I was just stupid. 4. Not at all. Someone mentioned meningitis as a possibility, or maybe he was struck by a car. Kittens. 3 weeks and 3 days

Maandag 1. No running 2. Meditation? 3. Bed at 10:10 Lights at 10:45 Awake at 4 Not nearly enough 4. Public holiday. Got up a bit later, got to the workshop around 10. Had a short afternoon nap and then all my enthusiasm evaporated and I read for the rest of the afternoon. Cold and cloudy and some rain in the early evening. Kittens now 3 weeks and 2 days. They have started playing.

Sondag 1. No running 2. Meditation? 3. 3 hour afternoon nap Lights at midnight Awake long before 5. 4. My brother found the missing cat. He was lying dead under a bush in the front yard. Sunday morning on the pond, the K1 kayak skills are improving. I rowed around the entire pond. Kittens are beginning to crawl into strange places. 3 weeks and 1 day.

Saterdag 1. Parkrun. I was not stupid enough to run, but I volunteered and handed out tokens to the runners. 2. Meditation? 3. Bed at around 10. Dreamed a lot Awake much too early. 4. Parkrun, workshop, read. Saturday night movie was Shrek the Third. Meh Kittens now three weeks old.

Vrydag 1. No running, ankle much better. 2. Meditation? 3. Lights at 23:00 Awake too early Nightmares. Fuck. 4. Went to the workshop latish, fiddled around. Afternoon rugby, and nap, and a small pizza. One of our cats hasn't been seen in 3 days. Kittens, 2 weeks and six days.

I always thought church music was supposed to be an amateur sport. Back in the days when I went to church the only acceptable instrument was an organ, and on days without power the piano. Guitars were banned.

I have to spend most of the day on my feet. Unofficially I will not tell anybody how much I have read the past week. Donderdag 1. Should have run, had the sense not to. 2. Meditation? 3. Bed at 10:30 Awake sometime during the night Up at 7:00 4. Everybody left early for Easter. I had to finish painting things, and have a weekend of assembly in front of me. 2 weeks, 5 days. Kittens have started to walk. This is the cutest time.
