  1. Well this week I grade myself with a C... I only got around to working out 3 days this week and kinda did a ice cream splurge, but I will start back up again tomorrow, and try all over again.
  2. Well I decided to try this Challenge! Today I ran 1 mile in 12:47 and 2.25 miles in 30 min. Lets see what next week brings!!!!
  3. Well today I got up early and went running with a friend at the gym. I ran 2.25 miles in 30 min! My first mile was run in a 12:47! Thats a new personal best!
  4. I am not really sure. It is like a modern/ballroom/idk mix. I am not really sure what style it is. It is fun though!
  5. Haha well this is my second challenge as well! I was the leader last time but figured I would just join a group this time, so any questions you have about getting the signup sheet and info stuff to work just ask! (I would recommend telling group members to post about who they are and what there goals are in the first post, so we can get to know our members better, because most people are not going to look on the sign-up sheet for the groups individual members.) Here is a little about me! My goal this challenge is to simply have fun and work out five days a week minimum! (I am really bad about getting bored so I cant really pick a singular goal, or I tend to give up) I am a martial artist/druid/want to be assassin (still not there yet unfortunately). Who loves to be active, whether it be dance classes, yoga, running, martial arts classes, or just self training. I always want to try something knew! So if any one has any questions about anything I can probably give you some info! And if I do not know the answer I will do some research and find you one! Well good luck everyone lets keep it up until the end!
  6. Started the challenge today! Hopefully the second times the charm!

  7. I really like kickboxing and Kung Fu, but unfortunately where I am going to college there is not any martial arts schools around. I am looking into joining a gym that I think offers a something. (Not sure its actually a martial art I read a pamphlet and I am not sure they knew what they were saying.) but I figured I would check it out if I can fit it into my schedule. If nothing comes of it I will just have to stick with body conditioning and basic kicks and punches. Maybe try to learn some knew forms for kung fu off of youtube.
  8. Well today for my workout I had 2 hours of dance classes. Not sure if ill add it to my five days of working out but I am thinking about it. I may just add it and work out six days this week instead of 5!
  9. Well for me I would have to say my last challenge kinda sucked. Did I finish? Well yeah but I did not do my best. So this time around my goal is just to have fun! Not to feel so much pressure. Last time I made my self a goals that were to specific, swim this and this day, run this day, do strength training this and this day. I lost the enjoyment of just working out and beating my records. So this time around my goal is simply WORKOUT. I got so irritated and busy last challenge that I only worked out like once a week. (Now thats sad.) So this time I just want to work out 5 days a week. I am not putting a specific on it because i get bored! I have to change things up! Whether it be my workout time (am or pm) What im doing, or who I'm doing it with. My extra little goals will be: 1) Meditate once a week 2) Only eat cake once a week (birthdays or special occasions do not count! but even then eat moderately) 3) Complete at least 1 Challenge proposed by my guild! Well wish me luck!
  10. Overall Grade-C Goal 1 (swim 2 days a week)- D Goal 2 (strength training)-B Goal 3 (run a mile)-B Well for me I did my best to complete the challenge. I went all the way to the end of the six weeks thinking of doing it, and doing my best. Unfortunately these last two weeks have been a bust. While I have worked out. (I joined a dance group and we practice a min. of 4 hours a week.) It was not one of my goals. I did almost make my one mile swimming mark, I just fell 1,430 feet from a mile. So in the end I did kinda follow and complete the challenge. My goals were to swim 2 days a week (I made that one for about 3 weeks), do some form of strength training (dancing counts right?) and to walk at least a mile once a week (well I am just now in my freshman year of college, and believe me, with the amount of walking I do it is about 2 miles everyday.) Overall I am extremely disappointed in myself (I know I could have done a whole lot better), and will have to do much better next challenge!

  14. Well this week went better than the past few. I had 2 four hour dance classes, walked over at least a mile every day, went swimming, did yoga, zumba, and a little bit of KBX. so overall not terrible but there is definite room for improvement.
  15. Well almost two weeks went by with absolutely no swimming and tons of unhealthy food. Grrr I am so mad at myself! I just could not get up early enough to go to the pool before class and it is closed for lap swims in the evening! But I forced my self out of bed yesterday and swam 3,850ft, only 12 more laps and Im at 1 mile. and today I did some yoga and Zumba. Now I just hope I can get out of be and go swimming again tomorrow.
