  1. Hey! Hope you are doing okay. Thats one hell of an xray! Scary stuff.. I have never broken anything so its become a bit of a fear of mine! As for the picture above and you saying your gross arm.. I don't think its gross at all. The scar will fade a lot, not straight away but it will look better. Hey - atleast it didn't go straight through your tatt! My dad had major knee surgury last year and he had a huge scar running down the front of his knee, approx 40cm long. Its now all faded and you can honestly only see about 5cm of it, still amazes me! Chin up, you'll be fit and healthy and back to the gym before you know it

  3. Well.. I'm back! Absent for what seems like months! Well, turns out I have nearly been gone for a month. I have no excuses, I guess when life gets tough I give up on everything, its the way I have always done things. The result.. I gained weight. So I am back to my beginning weight of 115kg - 254 pounds. I have everything ready food wise for tomorrow. I even have my bag packed to go to the gym after work - as long as I finish work early enough. Had a lot going on for the last month or so, probably at the lowest of low that I have felt for a while. But thats life isn't it? I figure things can't get much worse, so time to start trying to get things better. Onwards and upwards

Sunday 4th Aug - Prep Day Breakfast - Scrambled eggs, mushroom, bacon, coffee Lunch - Beef Stew Dinner - Chicken Stirfry Snacks - Marshmallows, chocolate, chips and lots of coffee So not an ideal day, but hey it happens. Cooked a big quiche today, as part of my food prep for the rest of the week, nothing like being prepared! Tomorrow night after dinner I will make Stew, some for lunches and the rest for the freezer. Didn't do much this weekend, quite cold and rained a lot of the time.. can't wait until summer! or at least spring! Edited to add in: Did the BBWR today.. it nearly killed me, dam I'm unfit! Anyways - better go do the dishes and head to bed - work tomorrow (booooooo!)

Saturday 3rd August - New Start / Plan Current Weight: 112.1kg (247pounds) (Will weigh weekly) Total Weight loss: 2.9kg (6 pounds) Measurements: (Will take measurements monthly) Neck - 38cm Waist - 119cm Hip - 136cm R/L Leg - 81cm R/L Arm - 43cm R/L Calf - 45cm I planned all my food for a week today, then made a food list and went shopping. I was very surprised how cheap the food shopping was.. Weird. Anyways, have texted a friend about going for a walk tomorrow. Time to get active. I will even give the BBWR a go this week too. Goals for the week: Eating - Paleo 80/20 Drinking - Water, Coffee or Tea (no soft drinks) Exercise - Walking and BBWR (either option but everyday) So there you go.. Lets get started!!
  7. Time to get my Ass into gear and start again. Its been a bad week of eating rubbish, pretty much reverted back to my old evil ways.. and I must say, I feel physically awful! Time to get some of this weight off. I must learn not to be so hard on myself.. and to recover quickly from when I slip up, easier said than done I know, but really need to just 'get over it' really. So, in saying that.. I'm over it (My pity party.. not NF!) Time to start living my life again Thanks for the kind words guys, they really do make a difference (even though I didn't reply I did/do appreciate them!)

  9. Sunday.. brillant sunny day here - not bad for the middle of winter! Breakfast - Scrambled egg, salmon, yellow peppers, onion, mushrooms (was gross), coffee Morning Tea - Coffee Lunch - 2 mini rice paper rolls, coffee AFternoon Tea - Coffee Dinner - Nachos Late snacks - 2 x strawberry jam sandwiches! So, there you have it. I was out for most of the day, I failed to take snacks with me, so by the time I got home at dinner I was starving to say the least! On the good side I was dying for a coke all day and I didn't have one. Also made up my goals for the 6 week challenge. yaay me lol Right time to make lunches and do the dishes.. oh joy. Have to take cat back to the vet tomorrow too.. Brillant
  10. So, not really sure how to start this.. so here goes: My main quest is: in 6 weeks time I want to have lost 6kg. My 3 specific goals are: 1) Attend GYM 3x per week 2) Eat Paleo 80% 3) No sugar in coffee Life Side Quest: To have paid $200 off on my creditcard by the end of the challenge Think that is everything? Prob forgot something but sure I'll work it out soon enough! So a bit about me.. My names Kim, from New Zealand. I'm 31. I currently weigh 111.7kg so to have completed the challenge I will have to weigh in at 105.7kg (or less).
  11. My Paleo breakfasts during the week are 2 boiled eggs, every day. I boiled up 10 eggs a the beginning of the week, and eat them cold in the morning. I know it doesnt sound very appealing, but I like it. I have never had breakfast before (no joke), and the eggs are easy as I can eat them while I make my daughters lunch. Truth is - I'd rather sleep for an extra 20 mins that get up 20 mins earlier to make something better. Lol, least I'm honest!
  12. Well.. what to write about today - oh yes health and fitness. Breakfast - Scrambled eggs with onion, yellow peppers, mushroom Morning Tea - Coffee Lunch - Basket of fries with mayo dip, 2 cokes (out with friends) Afternoon Tea - Coffee Dinner - Pineapple burger, few fries, pineapple ring and donut (wow, no wonder I felt sick afterwards!) Snacks - Coffee, 2 x mandarins So, what can I say but... shocker! Been thinking that I might have Saturday as my one day off. Not to go crazy or anything, but just have a day where its okay to eat what I want. And what better day than weigh in day!? I then have the whole week ahead of me to be good Anyone do that? have a cheat day or cheat meal? On a totally different note.. having a nightmare time with the sick cat. Can't get him to take his meds (the nice way or the mean way), and he has eaten nothing in about 24hours.. and doesnt seem right again. PETS! ARGH! So if this keeps up I'll have to take him back to the Vet on monday. Anyways, I feel totally sick with all the fat and grease I have eaten today, plus have a stinking headache with this cold. Might head to bed. 940pm on a Saturday night - how sad is that?!
  13. Well.. an early morning post - just to quickly say I weighed in.. dum dummmmmmmmmmmm Gained 500g (approx. 1 pound). Not really surprised, but I'm not letting it get to me. Had a rough week, its in the past.. time to move on, time to LEVEL UP! Total weight loss now - 3.3kg in 2 weeks.(Just over 7 pounds) Lovely picture AliceM - some of the cathedral is still there, the spire isn't though, and the whole front fell off, but the main body and roof is still hanging on for dear life, it was okayed to be demo'd, then this got stopped and it went through the high courts, and yesterday is was okay to be demo'd again. Pitty was we really have no historic buildings left, and the cathedral really is chch's identity. But the church wants it demo'd.. surprising really, as the public body want it saved (I believe). Not sure if the hostel is still there, I know the press building that was to the left of the hostel, semi collapsed during the earthquake, sadly one person died in there. This building has also be demo'd.
  14. This is probably not going to be the most helpful comment but.. I love KFC! I haven't had it for months though as the one close to my house is average and is always so busy and I'm far to impatient to wait 20/30mins in the drive through. Anyways, hope you enjoyed it (YUM!). I totally agree that 1 meal does not undo all the work you have done. Afteral, its only 1 meal!!
  15. Hey, just read through your log.. pretty impressive stuff I reckon! I really can't offer any advise on the stuff you do as I don't have a clue as have never done anything like that. I think you'll find that there are plently of people reading it, just not people commenting on it currently.. if that makes you feel better Anyways, keep up the good work, your doing great
